I do hope you enjoy spicy food too, as half the local food they serve here involve chili of some sort.

My mum and sis are absolutely nuts about Korean. I'm okay with them, just not what I'd choose to eat if I had the choice to choose. My tastes are geared more to... non-Asian and Japanese.

Eh, spicy isn't my thing too much. I am taking a liking to it a bit more these days, but it isn't something I would crave often. I'd love to visit an other country. Especially a tropical one.. You all have the best animals.

That's totally okay! You can try the other half of the non-spicy options. We have our own version of chicken noodle soup, and all those different kinds of noodle soups in general. Street food, the local coffee, more rice and noodle dishes, more street food.... What animals do you mean? I could do without the wild monkeys terrorizing the neighbourhood.

Where have you been when I was complaining about wild monkeys for the past 4 (5?) years?

I really like chicken/bacon alfredo, but all the cream and my lactose intolerance doesn't go well together.
I settle with aglio e olio and tomato base most days if I do cook them.

Olive oil and garlic, that's the one I cook most often. It's quick and simple. I just toss some chili flakes while cooking to add a little bit of kick to it. :3

How about tea or hot chocolate? I find filling the stomach a little helps with sleep, but what works and what doesn't differ for people. What's worked for you before?

COME HERE LET ME MAKE YOU ALFREDO

It's the cream I think. You need to be really patient when making alfredo because too hot and the cream will just curdle and that's nasty. Not enough stirring and the sauce will end up uneven. Not enough cheese and there won't be enough flavour etc.
