I thought since summer is almost here (Well, if the weather would make up its mind)
I'd go ahead and give a go at making a 'Summer dress'.

I wanted to ad polka dots to it, but I couldn't do it. Dx

Info: So in the down time of Mene I decided to work on another shirt.
I find shirts to be easiest so far.
I couldn't decide how many ruffles it should have so I went with four. Lol.

I can't really zoom in on it until later :D I love the idea of a summer shape. I just want to let you know what jelly told me when I was starting - the mene items usually use a 5-6 shade palette and I see the blue you used has 8 palettes. It's not a precise rule but most of the items here have 5-6 shades to them :) Also if you want a chart of most of the mene palettes - visit my pixel thread and find the pixel pointers post on the front - xuvvie made a nice chart :D

PS - I'm excited to see how you progress and grow :D

Actually, that pallet is straight from the top. Lol. It started out with 6 shades, I don't know where the other two came from.
I think there are some duplicates. Lol. I'll have to go back and make sure. >.<

haha ruffles are one thing I have NOT been able to conquer yet D:

I feel like if you brought the ruffles on the viewers right side out just ONE pixel it would make it look just a bit fuller and help the shape...I hope that makes sense?

And for the shading - I feel like there is WAY too much highlight towards the viewers right. The lightsource is coming from the viewers left....so it's good to have more highlight on that side than on the viewers right...right not it looks more like the light is coming from the front middle of the avvie as opposed from the front side.

I'm still trying to conquer them. >.<

Yeah, highlighting is something I have trouble with. ^^;;

I did put too much emphasize in the middle, now that I notice. I'll have to be careful about that next time.

It looks like it's meant to be a shiny top so it's okay to have some highlighting all the way across - but make it seem like there is more from the viewers left...so it looks like the light is coming from that side :D

ANd you do much better with ruffles than me! Teach me your ways! D: XD
