EVERYONE LIKES TEA SO LET'S TALK ABOUT TEA!!

(´▽`ʃƪ)

I don't know if anyone else has heard of the lovely quarterly magazine Tea Time, but it really is one of the most peaceful subscriptions I've ever taken up. I'm sadly a mere peasant when it comes to tea and dining, BUT A GIRL CAN DREAM! o(TヘTo) I tell all my friends that one of the best things would be to host an actual tea party and invite everyone over to just hang outside and snack and sip while we do whatever.

Whenever I read through my collection I always think how I could at least make some of these snacks, order some of these teas. I'm still wild finding out that there are real life tea conventions, and nearly cried when I read that there was a Harry Potter themed one that I completely missed because I'm poor and ignorant.

Oh well, I'll just have to comfort myself with the fact that I'm my friends' Hank Hill of tea and tea accessories.

I got a glass Tea poti and flowering Jasmine tea last year for Christmas
I am obsessed with the way it smells and it looks beautiful in the glass teapot

I love flouring teas! I have several glass pitchers that I use for cold tea, but I always have to walk away from those pretty glass teapot displays, since I'm really the only one drinking tea. My friends are very particular on their teas and coffee and my daughter isn't a fan yet. Maybe if I get rid of all these thrift store things I can treat myself?

Do you filter it, like loose leaf, in case the flower breaks up?

I do pour it through a strainer
I'm not a fan of tea particles even then they do settle in your cup

Maybe get a fancy teacup that your daughter likes and then just have tea and scones with her every day

She likes our little coffee mugs. I don't know how it happened (let's be honest probably grandma) but she loves "coffee". It's a bit of coffee with sugar dissolved in it and 70% cream. Basically a child's latte, served with cookies.

I've been thinking about buying her her own tea set.

I always want to make tea but I don't have a reliable metal kettle anymore and I bought an electric one at some point but its loud, alarmingly fast and frightens me so I never use it.

I've been making "chai lattes" in my cup brewer thingy. They're okay but I do miss having a good earl grey.

An electric kettle, like a coffee maker? I've always been fascinated by my grandmother's coffee maker. It's big, metal and you plug it in like a crock pot. Still no idea how it works.

Get a new kettllllllllllle. It's the best investment.

That is also true! Just don't be like me and forget your cup in the microwave. Again, and again, and again...

I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE. DOES ANYONE KNOW A GOOD IMAGE HOSTING SITE? I'M POSTING MY DAILY CUPS OF TEA. Along with all my sweet sweet gadgets and tea treats.

Also I drew fan art for a different thread and my brain is mush after trying to figure out how to upload it directly from my computer. (trick question it's not possible) [omfg i can't even get these smileys to work]

Yum, tea! I should really swing by the tea shop near my apartment and pick up some more loose leaf teas...

For image hosting, I like postimages.org.

I would buy tea except I almost never have time to stop in when they're open currently. And also because I overspent on one of my other addictions this month: Lost Kitties toys.

Oh, I should probably take that ping message out of my sig. With Mene tragically this quiet, it's not really necessary anymore.
But I think it's @;
Maybe.

Two of the reasons I love tea are how calming it is, and how it can be so beautiful. I saw this video in my recommendations and there's a tea ceremony! We went to a light up art show!

Always count tea-flavored treats when talking about teas. Always!

Lemon tea sounds so good right now. Too bad I'm an oddity in my family. I'm out of town for family baking, but my mother made me some good khaluha coffee (don't know if I spelled that right) and it was pretty tastey. Could have used a smidge of chocolate.

Does anyone drink mint tea? A friend gifted me nearly a whole box of instant citrus ginger tea with a HINT of mint, and let me tell you... this could clean a toilet. It is just so strong and I've been experimenting with how to make it palatable.

I'm not a fan of mint in general, so I try to avoid mint teas whenever possible.
Mmmmm...matcha tea....I should get one of those again.
