Grinning Phaedra shifted Ophelia on her hip and nodded to Percival. "We would love for you and Miss Rosie to come visit our land my Lord. Your presence is most welcome." The harpy couldn't help but swoon just a little for the knight. He was a kind and loving man, and that smile of his. What women wouldn't swoon just a little? Phaedra was about to tell Percival that she would love a dance with him when his smile faded and he excused himself.

She watched father and daughter walk over to a women with pink hair and with her enhanced hearing, heard him pay for her food. Shaking her head with a smile she looked down at her daughter who was starting to bounce in her arms. "Ok ok," she said fondly and set her down on her feet. "My lovely child what are we hungry for?" Ophelia tapped her chin and then started running toward a booth only a few feet away. "Mummy I want, please," the toddler said and pointed to the merchant selling fresh fruit. Coming up behind her daughter Phaedra soothed her hand down her hair and then grabbed her coin purse out of a hidden pocket in the side of her dress. Well at least she want's fruit and not candy.. she thought to herself. Knowing just what her daughter wanted Phaedra picked out an apple and small peach. After handing them to Ophelia she paid the merchant and ushered her away, glancing over at Percival as they walked to a bench to sit down.

Not knowing what to do with himself Striker kept walking through the market, bored beyond misery. If only Phaedra had not have sent him away, then he would have something to do. He could watch over them, make sure they didn't get hurt. Sighing he shook his head and was about to head back to the camps when a sight made him pause. Off to the left and sitting under a tree was a young woman who seemed to have crying. Not being one that could let such a sight go Striker walked over to her and crouched down in front of her sitting form. “My Lady are you alright?” He asked softly.

Arydia looked back down at her gold coins after seeing no possible explanation. What explanation was there? Her gold coins had gone missing for but a minute and then suddenly, after fretting her heart over it, broken for that minute, they had appeared from the sky, or tree.

She was just putting the coins back into her pocket, remembering to keep a closer eye on the coins when she heard a man speak to her. She jumped, looking up at the man, who looked to be of higher status than her. Her heritage shone through her mind and she didn't bow.

"I'm...I'm quite well," she said as she sniffled, wiping away her tears. "Thank you, kind sir." She got to her feet, a hand on the bark of the tree to steady herself. The crying had left her thirsty and dizzy. "I thought I had lost something precious to me, but I thought wrong." She added in a nervous chuckle, more to herself than to lighten the situation regardless of the fact that it seemed to be in no need of lightening.

Erynion tensed as the other approached the girl below him. Fingers gripped the tree branch tightly for a few moments as he just watched, motionless. He would have to be patient and wait for them both to move on before slipping back down the tree. The half-elf could be patient, but every minute he laid in the tree was a minute wasted that he could have been procuring something. More coins or something, things he definitely wouldn't give back. Probably. There was a deep frown on Erynion's lips as he continued to puzzle over his own actions of returning those coins.

Alexstrasza frowned at the stall clerk and looked next to her to see a fellow pull out a few coins from seemed to be a tiny bag. Realization dawned her and she frowned even more if that even possible, in her excitement she had forgotten about money. If memory served her right Helios always brought one of those bags filled with money, and she had left him behind.

Just when she thinking of just running and hiding somewhere until she was forgotten, which is quite silly seeing how she is dressed. She is like a beacon in this kind of crowd. A man showed up off to her side offering a dashing smile, then handing the baker the money she had owed him. Alexstraza bent her legs at the knee and lowered herself slightly in a courtsie in appreciation and greeting.

Alexstrasza looked to the little girl on his hip, then back to the man and gave a smile. "Oh, you're not imposing my kind Lord, it was foolish of me to not bring any coin. I thank you dearly, for paying for me. My name is..." She trailed off wondering if she should mention her title or not. "I am Princess Alexstrasza."

Percival offered the young lady another smile and hitched Rosie up on his hip, "It is an honor to make your acquaintance, your Highness. We're all a bit foolish now and then, so there's no reason to fret. Do you have an escort, my Lady? I wouldn't want to leave you here unattended."

Rosie could hardly sit still in the presence of a princess. She kept squirming and twisting in Percival's arms, trying to get him to put her down.

When the girl told him she needed to be off and that she was fine, Striker nodded and let her slip by. He watched her walk off for a second just to make sure she really was ok. Then he sighed and looked up into the tree. "You can come down now, I know you are up there." It was said loudly so the boy up in the tree could hear him. To the harpy most people were boys and girls since he was centuries old. He knew the moment he walked up to the girl that someone had been hiding in the tree. Not wanting to freak the girl out since she was already distraught he decided to keep silent, knowing that had he been an attacker he would have dealt with him.

Once Ophelia was done with her snacks Phaedra threw the cores away. Taking a hanker-chief out of her pocket she wiped her daughters hands and face so they were not sticky. "All done my little flower," she said fondly as she leaned in to rub her nose against Ophelia's smaller one, causing the toddler to squeal in glee. "Mummy can we dance?" Ophelia asked excitedly. Nodding Phaedra stood up and helped her down from the bench.

Mother and daughter quickly made there way over to where a band was playing and a few dancers were out dancing around casually. They had not yet set up for their performance. After they both bowed there heads to one another as was harpy tradition when starting a dance, Phaedra stuck her hands out and Ophelia grabbed them and the two started to gracefully dance together. Ever since her daughter could walk she made sure to teach her the art of dance. Though she stumbled a few times the five year old was very adapt.

The female moved on, she looked as if she needed time to gather herself. Surely the fellow beneath him would move on as well. Erynion's body jerked slightly when the male called up to him. He had been hiding so well to, at least he thought he had been. Frown on his lips and Erynion moved to adjust his position on the tree branch. He had planned to sit up and let both legs down on either side of the branch so he could straddle it. From such a position he could then easily begin climbing back down. Erynion's right hand slipped, the sudden quick shift in his weight was all that was needed to send him tumbling from the tree branch.

A quick. "Uh-oh" left those lips as his fingers scrabbled for purchase on the branch, nails biting at the bark for only fleeting seconds and then those blue eyes were closed tightly, that body tensed as he waited for the ground to rush up and meet him. He wasn't sure if he would survive the falls, his thieving life was flashing before his very eyes and though it only took seconds to fall from the high tree branch it seemed to also take forever. As if time was both slowed down and sped up. This was going to hurt, a lot.

Alexstrasza thought about Helios for a moment but dismissed the thought. She wasn't going to go back to just yet, she just got here. Besides he might take her back and go tell her mother, which will just not do at all. "No m'lord I do not have an escort.. and who is this darling girl you have with you?" The Princess looked over to the Pixie on Lord Percival's hip.

Percival frowned when she denied having a an escort. He hitched Rosie up for the hundredth time and adjusted her on his hip, "Ah, not a wise decision, I will admit, my Lady. This is a festival and yes, we should all be merry, but not all festival goers should be trusted. Not to say that you shouldn't trust me, of course, but well, what I am trying to say is; you should have an escort. I would be happy to stick by you until such a time as you locate one or find a friend, my Lady. I was just passing through the market with a new friend, Duchess Phaedra, and I'm sure she would not object to you tagging along."

Percival smiled when she inquired about Rosie. He smoothed back Rosie's wild pink hair and poked her little nose, "This is my daughter, your Highness. Her name is Roselynn. Rosie, for short."

Rosie whined in protest when Percival played with her hair and her little hands promptly jumped up to fix it. She squirmed in his arms, trying her hardest to see over his shoulder. She wanted to gaze at the sweets on the table.

((bleck....so short..))

Mother and daughter continued to dance, moving fluidly through the steps of a traditional dance of their people. Ophelia every once in awhile would let out a giggle when her mother would spin her and pick her up in the air. The Duchess couldn't help the wide grin that was across her face, she was always happy when her daughter was.

When Striker heard the soft "Uh o" and heard the boy falling he quickly moved underneath his falling form. Steeling himself the harpy easily took the brunt of the boys fall, knowing he wouldn't get hurt and that he likely saved the boy a broken bone or two. Rolling out from underneath the boy Striker stood up and after dusting himself off stuck his hand out. "Do I want to ask what you were even doing up in that tree? I am Striker by the way. I think next time you might want to skip tree climbing and maybe stick to keeping your feet on the ground eh?" It was said with a touch of humor though his face was stoic.

Blue eyes clenched tightly, body was tense and he fully expected to feel the hard impact of the ground. He landed on something soft well not exactly soft. More like fleshy and hard muscle. Then the half elf was dumped on the ground as his rescuer rolled out from under him. Those eyes opened, slightly startled, his heart pounding in his chest, thundering in his ears as he sat up. The half elf's eyes on the man that had saved him from breaking a few bones if not more. Maybe even his neck. It took Erynion a few moments to realize he had missed a moment. If he had known the man would move to break his fall, he would have been more composed and his fingers would have been ready to slip here and there to see what they could snatch.

A missed opportunity. Erynion hated missed opportunities. A slight frown touched his lips, but it quickly turned to a smile as he grabbed the offered hand and stood. His pounding heart was calming considerably fast. His brush with death hadn't seem to shake him too awfully much. "Why, I was showering you with my good looks of course." He spoke the words as if it should have been clearly obvious to this, Striker. Erynion released Striker's hand, taking a half step back and giving him an over exaggerated bow, almost mockingly. "Erynion, at your service, my lord Striker." He straightened from the bow quick enough, hands now moving to dust himself off a bit.

"You have saved my life, lord Striker." That hint of a frown was on his lips again, then it was gone. Those lips pressed together tightly into a thin line for a moment as Erynion thought. If this man now saw Erynion as being indebted to him there wouldn't be much the half elf could do about it..or if he wanted some kind of monetary reward, again there wasn't much Erynion could do about that. "I have nothing to offer as repayment, though clearly I am in your debt now?" So many different people would treat such debts so differently, it was impossible to tell where he stood with this stranger.

(( Short sorry, got a busy day and can't think of anything, my apologizes but I did try to fluff it up))

Alexstrasza nodded while frowning abit, he was right. It was entirely possible for her to run into the right kind of strange thanks to the powers that be. Once again her thoughts to Helios then her mother and she mentally sighed. Perhaps there was a reason why she wasn't actually allowed inside of the festivies and also why Helios must always be with her... well she understood the Helios escort part long before she decided to ditch him but it didn't stop her.

"Hello Rosie, m'lady." She offered the cute girl a small curtsie, as she admired her hair. It was just as pink as her own if not a different shade of pink. The Princess looked back to Lord Percival "Thank you for allowing me to accompany you and Duchess Phaedra."

Percival smiled when the Princess introduced herself to Rosie. He bounced her lightly and nodded to the Princess when she thanked him for allowing her to stick with himself and the Duchess, "Of course, my Lady. Speaking of the Duchess, though, I have been away for too long." He hitched Rosie up for the final time and began to lead the way back to the Duchess.

At first, he didn't see her, but after a quick scan of the area, he spotted her not too far away. She was dancing with her daughter to the music of a small, but merry band. He smiled and headed over just as his maid and squire, Agatha and John, respectively caught up to him. Agatha's basket was full almost to the brim with vegetables, fruits, and grains. John's arms were piled high with packages. Meats, mostly, and a small bag of potatoes.

Rosie didn't say much after the Princess introduced herself. Faced with a real Princess and she didn't make a peep. She wiggled and smiled, but only a little. Rosie seemed a rather shy child.

Coming to the end of the song Phaedra gripped her daughter under her arms and tossed her in the air, causing Ophelia to squeal. She caught her giggling child and placed her on her hip, rubbing her nose against Ophelia's smaller one. Smiling she turned around to see Percival and everyone else walking towards her.

With Ophelia chattering in her ear Phaedra started walking to meet them all halfway. Coming upon the group Phaedra gave Percival a smile before glancing over to the pink haired Lady. "Hello my Lady, I am Phaedra Duchess of Devon-shire and this is my daughter Ophelia." At the mention of her name Ophelia stopped her toddler chatter to her mother and waved at the pink hair lady.

Striker watched the boy in front of him with a raised eyebrow. Shaking his head the harpy crossed his arms in front of himself. He didn't understand the youth these days. "I merely gave you a cushion to which you could fall upon Erynion. I do not need repayment. If you consider yourself in my debt you may do whatever you wish with that, though I do not require anything from you. Some people like to do good things just for the sake of it." Striker couldn't help but wonder about the boy in front of him.

Erynion watched Striker carefully, almost afraid the man would hold him to such a debt. The man could have shooed Erynion away and dismissed the debt entirely and Eryn would have happily gone on his way. Striker did in someway dismiss the debt, but his next words cause Erynion to linger there instead of skipping off to thieve something. Blue eyes blinked, a wary look entering them as he studied Striker a bit more carefully. He wanted to take a step back from the other, but refrained from doing so. "Doing good for the sake of being good? People do not do things like that, especially nobles." He wrinkled his nose in disdain slightly.

Hadn't he given coins back though? All because it was the right thing to do? No, well maybe. "...Maybe..." He bit his bottom lip for a moment. "Maybe some people do." Now he did take a step back, ready to turn and leave since this man didn't seem to inclined to hold him to a debt. That was all well and good for Erynion. A sudden thought struck him though, those lips quirked up into a smile and Erynion surged forward, bringing himself very close to Striker. Almost touching but not quite. "I know how to repay my debt to you. I will repay you by allowing you to buy me lunch." There was a bit of amusement in Erynion's eyes, but the half elf was being serious.

Alexstrasza eyes laid upon to Harpies she assumed Percival to be in the company of and offered them a smile. With small courtesy, she offered up her own name. "Hello Duchess Phaedra, and little Lady Ophelia. It is very pleasant to meet you both. I am Princess Alexstrasza." The woman nodded over to the Lord. "If it wasn't for him, I'd might just be in shackles, he is very kind. If you don't mind Duchess, was offered to accompany your group, and I hope don't mind that I do so."

Helios had been looking for the Princess for awhile now, but there were still some place he hasn't checked. I do hope she's okay or the Queen will have my head he thought as he frowned. Helios decided to check the other side of the festival since he hasn't been over there yet. And while on the way to the other side he checked various stalls for her. Looking for her pink hair and royal purple dress.

Percival smiled when the two ladies introduced themselves. They seemed to like each other so far. That was always a plus. Breaking up cat fights was not his specialty. He usually ended up making them worse. Percival set Rosie on the ground to cease her constantly squirming. She instantly became interested in a bug crawling on the ground. He rolled his eyes and shook his head, not understanding her fascination with bugs, but he was grateful, at least, that she wasn't touching it. Or worse, trying to eat it.

Percival was pulled from his thoughts when he heard a commotion nearby. There was another procession coming through the streets. Percival's brow knit and he rose up onto his toes to get a better look over the crowd. He smirked. "Well, well, fancy seeing you here," he muttered, mostly to himself.

The procession wasn't very large, nor highly decorated. At the head was a woman, surprisingly enough. She was dressed in a manner that matches the picture on the chat page in its varying shades of greens and browns. Her pale blonde hair fluttered in the slight breeze and her blue eyes swept over the crowd. A name was being called through the crowd as she rode in with her servants and companions. It was Ildri.

Ildri was the daughter of Henrik, leader of most of northern Scotland. Their banner was hated by some due to the forceful way Henrik came into power. He wasn't exactly beloved by his people. Ildri didn't seem to care when the occasional curse was thrown her way. .....More than likely because she didn't understand it. Ildri was terrible when it came to the common tongue.

Her procession approached the small group of nobles and their children as they headed for the camp ground. Ildri seemed to spot Percival and gave him a short nod. Her eyes quickly scanned over the two women, Phaedra and Alexstrasza, but she didn't give them any sort of 'look.' Her expression was entirely neutral. She seemed nice enough, sort of.

((Sorry that took so long. My minds been ugh lately..))

Phaedra gave the Princess a small curtsy back and smiled broadly. "It is very pleasant to meet you as well Princess and of course we do not mind." Still smiling she glanced at Percival before looking back to the Princess. "Lord Percival is quite kind isn't he. Princess where is your homeland if I may ask, I am very curious to know," she asked while watching Percival and Rosie out of the corner of her eye. The two of them were just to cute not to watch.

Seeing him rise up to his toes to look at something Phaedra turned her head just slightly and saw the procession. Seeing the women Knight caused pride to well up in her chest. It was about time women were recognized as equals. She gave a small nod to the Knight and returned her attention back upon the Princess.

Ophelia had been silently resting her head on her mothers shoulder when she learned that the pink haired lady was a Princess. Perking up she watched her like a hawk, not saying anything until she got bored. She started squirming until her mother finally put her down next to Rosie. Squatting down next to the other girl Ophelia simply said, "hi."

Striker stayed silent, with his arms still crossed as the boy in front of him seemed to war with himself. He wanted him to come to his conclusion on his own, with no help from him. He watched as he took a step back to leave and the changed his mind.

Watching the boy come closer Striker tensed just a smidgen, ready for anything. Hearing his words caused Striker to laugh hard and then he cupped the boy on the shoulder with his left hand. "Alright then you can repay your debt by having me buy you lunch. Very clever very clever. Come then," he said and motioned for Erynion to lead forward.

Erynion's body remained relaxed, he usually reacted to things quicker with relaxed muscles, when Striker cupped his shoulder. Smile on the half-elf's lips. He honestly hadn't expected this kind of reaction but it was a good reaction. Unless it was some kind of trick? Though what could this man gain from tricking him? A whole lot of nothing, so why should it be a trick? Was it really a clever thing? Perhaps. When Striker motioned for him to lead the way, Erynion hesitated. Though only long enough to figure out where all the food was, then he was moving.

He glanced over his shoulder at Striker. "What brings you to the festival? Certainly not for the single purpose of catching boys that fall out of trees?" He was just teasing a little, there was nothing wrong with a little teasing. Smile still on his lips, and though he could have continued speaking, it would be rude not to allow the other to answer the questions posed to him.

Just shortly after Lady Phaedra gave the Princess a small curtsy, Lord Percival had set down his little on. Seeing Rosie on floor engrossed with a bug, she figured she must have been bored. The lady had asked a question, where was she from? Alexstrasza thought about that for a moment. Up until She noticed not only Lord Percival but Lady Phaedra as well was looking off into the distance. "I hail from Elysia, Lady Phaedra" She said it such pride, but not so much as in a vain sort of way.

Finally curious she looked in the direction the other two were looking in to and saw a elegant woman. She seemed to be a knight. The Princess didn't know who that was but apparently everyone else did. And they locked eyes only for a moment, and in that moment the Princess couldn't discern anything about since her expression was completely neutral. But she seemed... nice... like a okay person. Then her attention was drawn to the little one in Lady Phaedra's arms. She seemed to have been staring at her for a long time. She offered up a small smile and shortly after the little girl wanted down. The Princess returned her attention back to Lady Phaedra. She would ask where she was from but she had already said so during their introduction. "Are you four enjoying the festivities so far?"

Helios thought he spotted his Princess but his view was obscured by a lady knight who had many who were following her and a crowd had gathered. This woman must be the ill-famed Ildri.

Percival watched Ildri's procession go by and when she was finally out of sight, he turned back to Phaedra and the two young ones. He smiled and looked down to Rosie and Ophelia while they looked at a bug crawling across the ground. He shook his head lightly, "Such strange things attract her. Most little girls squeal at the sight of an insect, but not her."

Rosie looked up when Ophelia bent down next to her. She smiled, "Hi." He looked back to the bug on the ground and let out a tiny giggle. She pointed down to the fuzzy black caterpillar crawling across the dirt in front of her and chirped to Ophelia, "This bug looks like a doody!" This, of course, earned Rosie a light smack to the back of her head from Percival.
