Plot

The Goblin King fell into a ruling slump after Sarah defeated his Labyrinth, spurned his offer of slavish love, and took herself back to her own world along with her half-brother Toby. Now, three years later, the Labyrinth and the Underground (Goblin Kingdom) in general is falling into a state of neglect and disrepair. Jareth the Goblin King has holed himself away in his castle, tossing out all goblins but the necessary staff to keep his castle comfortable to live in and himself alive. With the King uncaring about his duties to protect his goblin subjects, the Goblin Kingdom is now open to invasion and occupation. While the potential invaders care little about the goblins in question, they do have to admit that the Labyrinth itself is a choice piece of real estate--and Jareth, with his powers to control it, is a puppet with choice strings to be pulled.

The Goblin King is aware of the talk of invasion, but is confident that his Labyrinth can put away any who try to best it. The goblins who dwell within his Labyrinth are not so sure. They are the ones who see how some walls crumble, who smell how the Bog of Eternal Stench doesn’t possess quite such an abominable odor. They are the ones who notice that the Labyrinth is in fact shrinking, its obstacles and mystifying pathways becoming less and less formidable and puzzling. They are the ones who will have to suffer the consequences should the Underground fall to another race.

Who will it be? The elves, the centaurs, the dragons, the Fire Fae, the fauns, the dwarves, the harpies, the Dark Fae… The list goes on and on, and so does the ensuing anxiety of Jareth’s goblin subjects. Will the King snap out of his funk in time to fortify the Labyrinth once more and thus squelch all possibility of foreign invasion? Or is it the goblins who will have to protect themselves?

Some goblins are working with the various landscapes of the Labyrinth to produce fortifications against the potential invaders. Some are squirreling themselves away and hoping for the best. Some are trying to convince the Goblin King of his folly in doing absolutely nothing… And a few goblins, just a few, are breaking the rules. How?

Humans are being brought to the Labyrinth. The ones who still have dreams, and the ones who lack them. The goblins who bring them there are of the hope that having human presences in the Labyrinth will finally bring the King to his senses. So, by direction of the goblins (“if you want to have an adventure” or “if you ever want to get home again”); through dangers untold, and hardships unnumbered, the humans are fighting their ways to the castle beyond the Goblin City to bring back the king that Jareth once was… And to fulfill the individual desires that each of them hold.

But even if they get to the castle, will their quests, and the goal of the goblins, be accomplished? Or will there be a bargaining to be had with the Goblin King himself?

Lay of the Land

Overview of the Labyrinth:

The entire Labyrinth sprawls out over a vast amount of land in every direction. At the center lie the Goblin City and Jareth's castle. Obviously Sarah did not have to traverse the entirety of the Labyrinth in order to get to the center, and neither will you.

One of the Labyrinth's maze sections:

The Labyrinth is obviously quite maze-like in many areas, such as this. Besides stone walls, the mazes may be made up of other materials. Mazes may even be organic and might comprise, for instance, of garden hedges.

Bog of Eternal Stench:

The Bog of Eternal Stench is just one of the many landscapes that lie within and around the Labyrinth. It is one of the last areas Sarah traverses before she reaches the Goblin City, and lives up to its name in that the odor that arises from it is so noxious that it may even inhibit breathing. Residents of the Bog do not seem to notice the stench.

The Escher Room (in Jareth's castle):

A room in Jareth's castle, so dubbed because its design is reminiscent of the works of M.C. Escher. A room full of stairs and doorways leading every which way, with seemingly no purpose except to mislead and confuse. Although Sarah (and presumably others) could only walk on one side of the stairs, the Goblin King had no trouble in striding freely all around the room on either side of the stairways.

Jareth the Goblin King, and Sarah:

Jareth the Goblin King rules over... yeah, you got that part. He also has complete control over the Labyrinth itself, and may manipulate the walls of the mazes, the landscapes, etc. to suit his wishes. Some call him a bastard (he certainly has no problem in kicking his own goblins around--literally), some call him misunderstood. One thing is for certain, however... he is an enigma.

Sarah, at the time of her journey through the Labyrinth, was an imaginative 15-year-old who loved to act out scenes from her favorite book, The Labyrinth. It was she who called on the Goblin King to take her brother Toby away, then made a wager with Jareth in order to get the baby back. She traversed the Labyrinth, enduring danger and puzzles, reached the Goblin City and the castle, and defeated Jareth. It is speculated that she is the object of the Goblin King's affections and that her refusal of him is why he is in such a funk.

Toby, Sarah's little half-brother, at the time when he was taken by the goblins:

This is what he looked like back then. Aww, isn't he adorable. He was taken by the goblins, bounced on Jareth's knee, and even sung to by the Goblin King. But he was a baby and couldn't talk, and therefore there is not much to be told about him.

Various goblins:

Should you require inspiration in creating an appearance for your goblin character (if you so desire to be one), here is a picture with some real, true bona-fide goblins in it. In the movie they do not appear to be that quick on the uptake and live in fear of their King's unpredictable temper. But then again, when has the media ever gotten ALL of the facts?

More pictures\descriptions of landmarks\characters will be added as necessary. If you make up your own landmark for the Labyrinth and incorporate it into one of your posts, PM me the details so I can put them up here! Bonus points (unfortunately imaginary; I'm poor) if you include a picture created by yourself or someone you know.

REASON YOU’RE IN THE LABYRINTH: He was brought there by goblins when he was three.
PERSONALITY: Pip is adventurous, stubborn, a little naive, and clutzy.
BIO: One night, when Pip was three, he was taken to the Goblin City by the goblins when his cousin said "I wish goblins would take you away right now. Ya know that?" Back then his name was Anthony. His cousin chose not to go after him and so he grew up with the goblins. Hardly remembering the world he came from, Pip often forgets he's not a goblin. Growing up with the goblins, Pip started to notice his difference from the goblins and started wearing a bird like mask when he was seven and is rarely seen without it.
APPEARANCE: This is just a rough example, I'll have a better picture later

EXAMPLE OF RP-ING SKILLS: Pip walked into the small stone house near the edge of the Goblin City. He took his bird like mask off and ran a hand through his messy brown hair as he yawned. He tossed the mask onto the small wooden table, grabbing a piece of wood from a small bucket under it and putting it in the fire place. The embers brightened and slowly began to light the new wood. Pip sighed contently as he crawled into a pile of hay that laid in the corner of the small home. He pulled the blanket from the corner over himself and slowly drifted into a deep sleep.

REASON YOU’RE IN THE LABYRINTH : Lives at the castle as the kings personal serving girl. ( no not that way! You and your dirty mind!) LOL
PERSONALITY: At first glance, quiet and timid. but when she feels comfortable shes brash and and bossy.
BIO: Picked up on a whim, Terra is an orphan goblin girl. She serves Jareth at the castle with fond admiration. he pays little attention to her and they don't interact much. This however only made her more found of him. like the saying, absence makes the heart grow founder.... She refused to leave with many of the4 servants when Jareth became a recluse.
APPEARANCE (picture and\or detailed description): She is small with long purple hair and big eyes. She wears a simple tunic brown tunic and a belt loaded with items hanging off it. PERSONALITY: Blythe is a cocktail that oftens add flavor to people's lives. She has a penchant for truth and puts little effort into patching things up. Like a guillotine, she overcomes obstacles quickly.

BIO: Bred from nobility, she appreciates having her every need catered too. Blythe finds leisure from sitting on her balcony and watching the perfect world laid out before her. But recenty with all the talk about invasions, she noticed that Goblin City had been quite neglected. She tightly caged her anger within her heart, hoping to never let it come out and wreck havoc on the people close to her.

APPEARANCE:

A small, lithe frame complimented by a fair complexion, hazel eyes, and lengthy strawberry blonde tresses. Blythe usually dons knee length dresses. Although she's 123 years old, she looks to be around 20 in human years.

EXAMPLE OF RP-ING SKILLS: Some where within the vicinity of her bedroom, a pair of feet shuffling about could be heard. Blythe rolled to her side and muttered "tullips" into her downy pillow. The curtains were drawn and streams of blinding sunlight luminated the darked room which made her only bury herself further into her unkempt hair and duvet covers. "Good morning Missus! I'll have them brought to the balcony in a jiff, but it will be to no avail if you don't wake up soon" the owner of the feet chirped. Suddenly the downy covers were yanked off her and replaced with scintillating swirls of warmth.

Profiles--Humans

RACE: Human
ABILITIES\SPECIAL ITEMS: Ipod and headphones (That actually don't work more often than not, in both worlds and is Special because it's rather unusual in the Underground). Creeping people out and seeing more than they would like (If those can be considered as Abilities)
REASON YOU’RE IN THE LABYRINTH: Her twin wished her away along with him self
PERSONALITY: Raina is silent person but it doesn't mean she doesn't have a sharp tongue. She does seem very peaceful but if you challenge or annoy her (And even if she has big patience, it's not endless) she will snap and put you down with few sarcastic words.
There was a time when she liked to read and dream. She was also very sweet and helpful, even if received sneers more than thanks. But by now, she seems to have stopped to care - as long as it doesn't connect to her or Ryan, it appears to not concern her and she isn't afraid to express her (Or other opinion, if needed). But deep down, that dreaming girl is hidden under safe armor. Still, she doesn't give much about your opinion.
She often acts as if she would dislike her twin while it is actually the opposite and she would be ready to die for Ryan. He is her only close person after all.
Raina is also quite mature and serious, always trying to think clearly no matter what is the situation. It has saved them of quite a bit of trouble. She is also observant and likes to watch people, sometimes nearly treating them as lab rats to experiment how they will react to certain things - yes, there is a cruel streak to her.
BIO: Raina is few minutes younger than her twin brother, Ryan. And when she gets too serious, he always reminds her that, saying that she should be more flighty than him.
Anyhow, her family wasn't very well situated. Their parents were artists who never got their talent recognized and over the time, now with burden of two children, sunk into alcohol slowly.
When they were about 14, their mother died and twins decided to 'orphan them self', running away from home. Their father didn't even look for them much. And since then, they are more or less on their own. Their aunt gave their home but they work for their own surviving and pay rent to her.
APPEARANCE: Raina is often considered 'the typical goth/emo'. Her clothes are black or dark purple clothes, warm if possible as she gets cold easily. She also wears a small ankh in silver chain around her neck. Her right ear has multiple piercings and left, one (Earrings are one of her weaknesses). Black hair that reaches her mid-back frames her pale face (She doesn't wear any makeup usually, though). One of most strangest features about her is her dark purple eyes with thick lashes. They really are purple while usually the color is more blue-purple.
She is rather thin, not anorexic thin but if one looks past the many layers of clothing, Raina does look a bit unhealthy. But because of that, her curves that otherwise would seem small, stand out more and her nearly 'hourglass' figure draws attention, especially if she choses a bit more revealing clothes. She is also rather tall.
Of course, many dislikes her on the instant because of her appearance (Either because it's gothic or because she is pretty). And her expression only keeps the stereotype alive. While her eyes are weirdly beautiful, they seem to empty of any emotions and her blank stare can send shivers run down your spine.

RACE: Human
ABILITIES\SPECIAL ITEMS: Endless energy and optimism (Which is both good and bad)
REASON YOU’RE IN THE LABYRINTH: Wished him self and Raina away
PERSONALITY: Despite being the eldest of the two and coming near of age, Ryan often resembles a child. He is innocent, never thinking of being really nasty to anyone and will be very upset if his small jokes seriously hurts someone. He is also a bit too trusting for his own safety. He is also always ready to do great things in order to help others. And he never stops dreaming of great adventures and a better world. The boy is completely trustworthy and he would rather chop his right arm than lie or fail a promise.
Ryan is all about happiness - to see everyone happy is his main goal, especially if you are close to him. He can be rather protective of others and sometimes resembles a little, jealous puppy if someone gets too much attention from Raina - he adores her.
If the moment presses much, he can strangely quickly mature for a while, though, turning serious. The effect is not long lasting, though, and appears only if he is alone and Raina is not there to guide them. It's not like he is fully dependent on her but many times he has been proved she always thinks more clearly than him, serious or not. Usually, he is simply -do/hug now, think later- type of person.
Ryan is also very optimistic, believing in good end and he never seems to get tired, as if he always is on coffee high (He actually doesn't like coffee much, though).
He can be rather flirtatious at times but he never really thinks it seriously or thinks that the other could think it seriously. It's just a nice game to him. Ryan doesn't like to big, serious things. Maybe it's because deep down he is afraid of responsibility and the possibility he could fail.
BIO: Nothing different from Raina's, except for the fact he wished them both away to Labyrinth in hopes they could start a better life there after another bully attack at Raina.
APPEARANCE: Ryan and Raina aren't Monozygotic twins but no one can deny there are quite a bit similarities between them. His hair, too, is raven black but unlike his sister's, it is frizzy and short, simply impossible to keep in place so random black curls tend to stick in air, nearly as if he had got electrical shock like in cartoons just now.
His eyes aren't as strange, though. They are nice shade of hazel and always seem to spark with joy and curiosity.
It seems that being pale comes in Crane family genes because despite spending lot of time in sun as he works, his skin is only few shades darker than Raina's. But unlike her, he wears anything he can get his hands on and the brighter, the better.
He is rather tall and looks lanky because he is thin, rarely ever eating as much as he should. But Ryan has got a rather nice muscle mass that makes up for the thinness. He also has pretty hands, with musician's fingers.
Overall, he is somewhat funny looking but rather handsome young boy. Not that he pays any serious attention to any flirtatious looks he might get.

EXAMPLE:
He was late and as if it wasn't bad enough, it was Luna who was waiting for him. Last thing he wanted to do was to make her upset on her birthday. And Kiven, too, was looking forward this picnic very much. Any chance to spend time with her was great but this was special. He had been saving up for her present, that now was safely in a box tucked in in his shirt pocket, for half a year and about the same time he had been planning some of attractions to make her birthday unforgettable.

But the work was work and Kiven hadn't managed to get off just a bit earlier to be on time with changing clothes. Now he was dressed in his finest attire, made of smooth, dark blue shirt with the top button unbuttoned and black pants and simple shoes. He only hoped she would be still there and when turned around the stable's corner, nearly running, let out a relieved sigh. They both - Luna and Mimsy - were there and, the man noted, she looked very pretty (Then again, she always did in his opinion).

"Luna! Mimsy!" he called out, grinning. "I'm so sorry I am late. I hope I didn't make you wait too long," his grin turned into guilty smile. "I promise I will make up for it when the picnic begins," Kiven promised, grin turning mischievous. He had planned to give her the present then, though, wasn't sure if she would wait patiently for that.

REASON YOU’RE IN THE LABYRINTH: wished there by her older sister, Fabi.
PERSONALITY: a dreamer, often lost in her own thoughts. She is a bit clueless at times, but is still intelligent and has a kind heart. As the youngest of three she is a tad spoiled and has come to take some things for granted.
BIO: Siobhan has always known that she was meant to be a writer. It's practically in her genes, as she is descended from a long line of artists of various types; musicians, painters, etc. However, her grades in school are anything but scholarly, and people are now telling her to give up on her writing and daydreaming and to buckle down and pay attention to "real things." APPEARANCE: pale blonde hair and tanned skin, dark green eyes. She is wearing a hot pink shirt with the words "I Am in Like with You" emblazoned on it in gold, and a black sleeveless hoodie, as well as bright blue skinny-leg jeans. She pulls back her hair on one side with a tortoiseshell barrette.

REASON YOU’RE IN THE LABYRINTH: Wished away by family in a joke

PERSONALITY: Fun loving and adventurous she was always bored with reality and always wished she was somewhere else. She is not that outspoken, but get on her bad side and she will speak her mind. She is always a good listener when her friends are in trouble and can be a good problem solver. She loves fantasy and finds herself wondering if she really wants to go back home to reality or stay in a place she always wanted to be.

BIO: Fawn has lived in one area of California all her life with her mom. Her parents were divorced when she was 13 and she stayed with her mother. Nothing is planning out the way she wants. Her plans to go to college are quickly unraveling and she finds herself wishing every night to be somewhere other than where she is.

APPEARANCE: Brown hair that comes down to the shoulders with long bangs that sweep to one side. Hazel eyes and a heart shaped face. She was wished away while she was in a dark tank top, orange hoodie and her blue jeans with her converse sneakers on her feet. She is average height and is not skinny, but healthy in build.

EXAMPLE OF RP-ING SKILLS: Fawn sat on the window seat by her window and looked over the view of downtown Anaheim. She sighed and put her cheek in her hand and leaned foward.
"And here I thought this would be one of the happiest places on earth- not to mention magical..." she murmured and heard her mother call her through her door. She was going to be late for work if she didn't get herself something to eat and a shower soon.
She rolled her eyes, jumped from the seat and out the door to face another day of reality.

RACE: Human
ABILITIES\SPECIAL ITEMS: Nothing, really.
REASON YOU’RE IN THE LABYRINTH: Was wished away by a spiteful brother.
PERSONALITY: Quiet and shy, can be cheerful, mostly sticks to self and daydreams.
BIO: At once, she was normal and happy, but she never really did get along with her older brother. Whether it was sibling rivalry or something sinister, she never knew. They were brought up with fairy tales and fantasy stories, and both planned to do something with their lives that involved one of the two. She wanted to be a famous writer, he wanted to be an artist. The two get in a heated argument over something minor, and her brother just blurts out, “I wish the goblins came to take you away!” The goblins come and take her away. Whether he doesn’t know how to, is too scared of the Goblin King, or just doesn’t want to, her brother makes no move to get her back. Now Mina is scared and all alone.
APPEARANCE (picture and\or detailed description): Small and pale, short red hair and big gray eyes. Tends to dress in black or blue.
EXAMPLE OF RP-ING SKILLS: Mina looked at her surroundings. It was dark, that much she could tell, with no light but for the moon overhead. Around her were the chirping of crickets and the “hoo-hoo” sounds made by owls. She began to panic. The sounds seemed to get louder and louder. She collapsed to her knees, and wondered why she had been brought here. Behind her, she could hear the murmuring of goblins. If she cared, she would wonder what they were saying about her.

REASON YOU’RE IN THE LABYRINTH: Wished away by his live-in girlfriend. (How sad.)
PERSONALITY: Nobou is a bit of a hot-head. Can you blame him, though? His girlfriend is extremely rude, his mother pushing him... When he isn't angry, though, he's an extremely laid-back guy. Who is afraid of absolutely everything.
BIO: Having moved in with his girlfriend a few months ago, Nobou is being pressured by his mother to make grandchildren. She claims she isn't getting any younger, and wants them before she dies. This is rather preposterous, as his mother is 46 years old, not nearly old enough to fret. However, this stresses him, along with his ugly cubicle job. Then there's his girlfriend. She wants him to just propose already, so they can finally have a life. He's scared to do it. So she had this bright idea to wish him away. Look where that got her.
APPEARANCE: Then There Was Nobou. He dresses up to fashion, usually. Jeans, T-Shirt, ect. It depends on where he is, really. He really loves suits, for some reason.
EXAMPLE OF RP-ING SKILLS:
Waking up was superbly hard, even if it was from a long fall into this really creepy place he knew nothing about.. Wait, really creepy place? Oh, crap. What had happened to him now? He really had this urge to start crying. But he had to be a man, for once in his life. Like Saki was always telling him to do- stop being such a woman. Well, that was really hard, he'd have you know. Having a phobia of nearly everything that was potentially fun really held you back in life. But what was he to do? Oh God, oh god, oh god... What was this place, anyway? It was dark, and damp, and it smelled really bad. Oh, no.. This was Labyrinth... Well, that's just great, now isn't it? Stuck somewhere that he had only heard about from the book his girlfriend talked about. Well, then, maybe he should just hope that his knowledge of the book would end up not getting him killed. Or maybe it would be better the other way around...

PERSONALITY: cool and calculating, Kaiya does possess a merciful heart. Or so she thinks. In reality she has a superiority complex and has to be above others. She'll allow any enemy of hers two choices: surrender, or be taught a painful lesson. She has little patience for fools.
BIO: Kaiya was born to affluent parents in the Minotaur Kingdom. She grew up in the lap of luxury, but that did not stop her from being practical and cunning. She soon became one of the Minotaur Kingdom's most prized warriors and "negotiators," and so she was chosen to bargain with the Goblin King.

Bio: When Sin was young and human, he had a fiancee, one day after coming home from work. He found his bride to be laying in the bathroom floor, she was beaten to death, the apartment torn and stolen items making it bare. Months had passed after that fateful day, unable to take the unbearable pain, he killed himself. Even after death the pain blinded him to the world, his heart freezing cold towards the world. Now he is set to spread the pain he felt to other worlds.

Appearance: True Appearance.

Sin offend goes by a young boy named, Sirus. Sirus has slanted, pale sandy brown eyes with little chunks of gold randomly placed in them and ravenous black hair. His hair is a couple of inches long and layered elegantly to frame his face. He has oriental tan skin and has a athletic build. He has a ear piercing on the left earlobe with a small silver loop earring. He has soft, pale pink lips and a dark freckle by his left eye near the bridge of his nose. His wardrobe is artistic with a lot of black. (Yes I use it from my other RP, too lazy to think of a new look at this moment.)

Example of Rp-ing Skills:
Sin wrapped his pale arms around the female goblin. Her chest pressed roughly to his as the spikes dug deeply into her skin, letting the blood run loosely onto him. "The truth... I am your death." He whispered darkly into her ear. Her eyes widen in shock and fear as he pressed his soft lips upon hers. She should feel the life drain from her body and into his. Her arms grew weak and numb as she tried to fight him off, but he was to strong. Her face faded from color, it felt dry and dusty the longer he held the kiss. Her face broke into dust as did the rest of her body before it fell onto the ground. He smiled at the dust pile that was once a female goblin, his smile changed from warm and inviting to eerie. One that could send shivers down your spine and goose bump upon the back of your neck. He reached into his pocket for a silver crystal, with one small rub, he vanished into the air.

ABILITIES\SPECIAL ITEMS: Her haunting voice lures unsuspecting men to her trap. In an attack, can rip a humans throat out with her index finger and thumb
REASON YOU’RE IN THE LABYRINTH: The urge to cause havoc drives her anywhere. The Labyrinth drew here in with it's twist and turns. She's always up for a puzzle.
PERSONALITY: Gemna is serious, and often times cruel. Has a tendency to be sarcastic. Only cracks up over things that are disgusting and blood smeared.
BIO: Gemna was a lovely siren, walking the coasts and letting her drifting voice lilt over her city. She remembered the name...Sicily. She would call sailors to the shores, and once they were in her clutches, she would consume them in a manner that had the city wondering about the blood soaked sand. Eventually, a mob came and actually succeeded in pinning her, where they set her on fire. Her hate for the human race and any living thing wouldn't let her soul rest, and she returned to watch the city burn.

EXAMPLE OF RP-ING SKILLS:

A soft melody floated through the air of a darkened city. A small goblin man with sleep in his eyes hobbled down the street in search of it. It called to him, caressed his stubby face and pulled him closer to a dark part between two small sheds, a stone wall behind. Even though his sub-conscious was telling him to flee, his feet kept moving. Soon, the glow from a beautiful face looked down at him, a warm smile on her face.
"You came."
The melody seeped from her mouth and floated around him, all he could do was nod. She smiled, her face framed by bright blonde hair. But in an instant, those gentle green eyes snapped to blood red and the beauty was turned into something grotesque. Gemna snatched the stubby body from the ground and from the remaining light. After a few moments, the blonde walked out, regaining her beauty and a new, more healthy glow. Midnight snacks never hurt.

RACE: Invading Race; Dark Sidhe.
ABILITIES\SPECIAL ITEMS: A power called 'Frost,' that allows him to manipulate the cold and ice.
REASON YOU’RE IN THE LABYRINTH: An attempt to take over the Labyrinth for the Dark Sidhe Kingdom.
PERSONALITY: Jun is very superficial, almost always focused on beauty. And thus, he sees no point in invading the Labyrinth- unless they're going to beautify it! He often uses manipulation and the Sidhe ability to infiltrate the mind to make a situation go towards his favor. Sneaky little bastard, he is!
BIO: Legend has it that no human should look upon the face of the Sidhe. This is so because the Sidhe, no matter how they look, contain beauty so extreme, that it burns into the memory of a human. Thus, driving the human mad with desire, and quite simply insane otherwise. This causes most Sidhe to wear a mask of sorts in public either way, be it by magick or an actual mask. Jun enjoys playing with this power. However, he has found himself on a mission from his Dark Queen to invade the Labyrinth. Wonderful, that's just what he wanted to do on a Sunday Evening.
APPEARANCE: A Vulgar Interpretation, Says I!
EXAMPLE OF RP-ING SKILLS:
He had to make sure his glamour was just right. After all, anybody could fall madly in love with the Sidhe. Even the half-breed mutts that came to them when nobody else wanted them. The glamour was something that had to constantly stay up. He at least had that down right. Maybe, just maybe, the Queen was onto something this time. And he wouldn't have to totally embarrass himself on behalf of her. Lord knows he'd done it so many times before. After all, this Labyrinth that she spoke of was full of vile, ugly little things. And the worst-smelling bog in history. Why on earth would she want this? Well, he was going to find out. Maybe Jareth, their King, had something to do with it. Jun had heard that he was mighty attractive, and the Queen did have quite a hankering for attractive men. That had to be it!

USERNAME: Liros
NAME: Selitia (Cell-e-tea-ah)
GENDER: Female
AGE: 18
RACE: Harpy
ABILITIES\SPECIAL ITEMS: Able to fly using wings, medium-level psychic (can move small objects, communicate telepathically) and will heal from physical wounds at a slightly increased rate, and carries at all times a magic sword that will return to her hand so long as she carries the scabbard of it on her sword belt.

REASON YOU’RE IN THE LABYRINTH: Believe it or not, Selitia is a Princess of her race! She came with a message of peace, with the dream of uniting the two kingdoms, but fears that it is too little, too late. She also seeks the hand of the Goblin King in marriage. However, she knows of his pursuit of Sara, and fears that her admiration and love will be unrequited. After all, as she puts it, "Sometimes the earthbound resent those who can fly free. They are afraid to trust, and don't believe that those free-soaring spirits would not only share their gift, but be content with one love. This is no easy task, to win this man's heart..."

PERSONALITY: Shy, well-mannered, generous, a little bit on the innocent side, and very noble in her intentions. If a friend is in need, she's the one who comes to their aid.
BIO: Princess of the kingdom of Elermyst, Selitia is, surprisingly enough, generous, giving, and has the heart of a warrior. She will do anything for a friend, but more so for love. She, like most beings, though, has her limits. One thing she cannot forgive is cowardice. Also, cheating, hypocricy, and lies are not high on her list of favorites. More than anything, she wants the truth; even when it does hurt.

APPEARANCE: She looks exactly like this, but does not wear that dress when she travels. That is her casual, "sitting around the castle, not doing anything" dress. Instead, her travelling clothes are this decorated, but still practical tunic meant more for a man than a woman, dark brown leather boots that go up to the knee, a burlap bag that is bespelled to hold far more than it should, and weigh far less, and this sword, passed down amongst the Royal family for generations. She did not come unprepared, though; She has chosen this simple, elegant gown if she needs to have attire for a ball or formal gathering, and has taken along this opulent dress in case the marriage she dreams of, but tells herself she shouldn't get her hopes up for, actually happens.

EXAMPLE OF RP-ING SKILLS: "Your highness!" Cried the servant at the green-haired maiden's elbow, clinging to her. "I'm fine, Ertau. Leave me be." She said, fanning out her black, raven-dark wings as she pushed herself back to her feet. She hadn't even gotten out of the castle this time before she again tripped. "It's these damned gowns you keep insisting I wear! I can't travel properly!" She complained, stomping off up the hall, and ascending the stairs to her personal tower room, where she planned to slough off this rediculous gown, and don more sensible clothing for travelling. "Custom be damned." She muttered to herself. "To go on foot all the way to the Goblin Kingdom is no mean feat. I'll take my Bag of Holding, and a few of my nicer dresses, to please the servants."

Terra grumbled at the spiderwebs encroaching everywhere. Just because the master was out of sorts, they felt like they owned the place. "Get outta here! This isn't your castle!" She whacked at the webs giving the spiders a menacing look. when she had gotten the last of the webs she let out a loud sigh. Things just weren't as they should be. Ever since the human girl Sarah had beaten the labyrinth and left, their ruler and king Jareth, well....He had become more of a recluse then the spiders ((ooc: get it recluse spider? MWahahwahhaaaa I'm so witty)). As if that weren't bad enough. Other races seemed interested in taking over as if the master were truly gone. More humans were appearing in the labyrinth as well. She was out of sorts as to what to do for her master. He had sent most of the goblins away. Preferring to stay alone. She of course refused to leave. She would serve him for as long as she lived, and preferable after as well. She sighed again and looked out the window over the labyrinth and the goings on. What would befall upon the labyrinth today she wondered.

: Okay time to start to evil plot to destroy the Labyrinth. Good luck. :

A eerie smile made its way across the gray invaders face as black lines engraved itself from his narrow, white glowing eyes. Fresh spatters of blood remained on his skin from past worlds. His fangs darkened his look along with his horns resting through shiny black hair. Demonic, bat like wings twitched from the slightest touch of the new air. Hugging tightly to his chest, a head from his last invasion. Silky blond hair cascaded it way down against his leather clothing, blood dripping from the head and onto the stone ground. Spikes shimmered in the light as he hid in the shadows of a ally.

Slowly he gripped the blond hair with his blood covered hands, black claws dug their way into the bodiless head's scalp. Since no one was there, he tossed the head into the middle of the Goblins center city. The head rolled and tumbled, its blood soaked hair flipped around as it did, covering the places it been. As it came to a stop, Sin's smile had faded. He reached into his pocket for a silver crystal, with one small rub, he vanished into the air.

His offering of war was made, the plan ready to be taken into action. Death was on the horizon for this trouble world, allot of innocents would lose their lives til the King of the Goblins would accept.

Siobhan leaned her forehead against the window of the backseat of the car. It was hot day, but her father insisted on keeping the AC on a low setting, to "save gas." The glass was cool against her skin, but it didn't help much in the long run.

Her sister Fabi, older than her by two years, was apparently of the same mindset as Siobhan: the heat and their father's attitude combined were complete bummers. "How long until we get there again?" Fabi asked, her tone just short of a whine.

"We get there when we get there," Jon, the eldest at eighteen, replied in a bored tone. Siobhan wondered how he could hear anything while wearing those huge, expensive earphones that were supposed to minimize external noise. He fiddled with the buttons on his MP3 player. "Just stop complaining, would you? It's REALLY annoying."

Fabi sank further down in her seat with a huff, brushing her red bangs out of her face. "Well, I don't see why we have to go visit Uncle Bill, anyway. He lives in the middle of nowhere, and besides, it's not like he ever takes the trouble to visit US."

"We visit because he's your father's brother, and you will stop using that tone young lady, before I dock your allowance," their mother announced sternly from the front. Fabi gave another dramatic, pained sigh, but subsided into silence.

Nobody in the car was in a good mood right now. Unless you counted Jon, who, ever since he'd hit sixteen years, never seemed to care about anything. It was not the most pleasant atmosphere to be in.

For what must have been the tenth time that day, Siobhan hugged her notebook closer to her chest, closed her eyes, and tried to think of something to write. Anything that would distract her from her family's current mood, and the prospect of living out in the boonies with no electricity or hot water for two weeks. With Uncle Bill, no less, who was the worst advocate for "practical" things that she'd ever met. Every time she saw him, his first question to her was always, "Hey there, kiddo. Gotten rid of that little notebook of yours yet?"

But nothing came to mind except, now, her uncle's condescending grin. She knew that he didn't really mean any harm, but she still felt stricken whenever he said that to her. It was as if he'd asked her if she was ever going to cut off her arm.

A light hum seemed to bob down the cobble stone alley.

"Hm, hm-hm, hm-hm," it went.

Sea green eyes looked over the clouded sky. Blonde hair cascading down her back and curling lightly at the ends. She had been a very attractive female. The click of her heels could be heard all around her, in time with her humming. Every now and then, she would skip, never looking down to make sure what she was stepping on.

Suddenly she came to a stop before she stepped out into the centre, seeing a blonde head roll out into view. Just before it disappeared, she could have sworn she saw another wraith. There's another, her mind whispered. She cocked her head to the side and her brilliant green eyes seemed to flicker from green to red. But it was only fading, and her curiosity made her go out to the outskirts of the city, singing softly in the way she normally did to draw in things that were a little harder to bring in than humans.

Terra swept through the castle and left it to go in search of the supplies needed today. She needed a few more rags and some items for tonights dinner. She whistled very much out of tune and walked through the twisting streets. She waved to a few of the goblins she knew. For some odd reason she felt compelled to go and make for the outskirts of the city. There were a few ways to get through to the beginning of the labyrinth quickly. One was near a glow worms home ((glow worm yes? that little worm guy at the beginning of the labyrinth...))

She felt that more people where on their way to the maze that was her country.

"so much was inside out and upside down...." She wondered around the outside walls. Normally upside down and inside out was the norm, but not in this case. "When will things go back to normal?" As normal is here in the labyrinth.

Fawn sat in the bus and stared out the window on her way back from another day in the regular life. She closed her eyes briefly and imagined herself in another world, so backwards from the one she lived in and where nothing is what it seemed. She felt as if she was in a carriage of some sort heading toward the edge of a maze. Then walls too tall to scale and something off about the land... as if it was crumbling or something was about to make it crumble upon itself.
"Last stop, Lot K," the driver in the front yelled back and Fawn was thrown roughly back into reality.
"Thanks," she muttered to the driver and stepped out to her car. She would have to try to dream of that wonderful place again. Reality was not real enough for her.

That was it! Siobhan finally knew what to write, how to escape from the current state of her life. The idea had come to her in a flash, and she quickly seized it. She began to write in her notebook, hesitantly at first, then with a confident, steady speed.

Lost in her writing as she was, Siobhan did not hear her sister addressing her until Fabi snatched her notebook right out of her hands.

"HEY!" Siobhan yelled in surprise. "Fabi! Give that back!"

"And why should I? You were totally ignoring me. All I wanted was a bottle of water from the cooler behind you, but noooo, your little notebook is MUCH more important."

"Fabi," their mother spoke in a warning tone.

She did not show any signs of hearing, only began to read what her little sister had written. "What is this, anyway...?" Then she let out a loud laugh. "GOBLINS? You could write about anything, but GOBLINS? Are you serious? You honestly think people would want to read this?"

"No, I don't really... It's just for me..."

"Huh. How lame."

"Fabi!" Their mother sent back, louder this time.

The red-haired girl only lounged back against the seat of the car and began to read out loud from the notebook, despite Siobhan's protests. "'And so the girl found herself taken away from her life of poverty and suffering, thrust into an entirely different world than the one she had known. But she discovered that in the new world there were dangers untold, and hardships unnumbered, perhaps even more so than in the life she had left behind. Her goblin friends told her that the person responsible for their situation was none other than their King, and she set out to convince him of the wrong he was doing to his people... This is so stupid!" Fabi let out another laugh.

"FABI. That is IT, young lady! You have lost your allowance for the next month!"

"WHAT? But, Mom! You have to admit that it's the worst idea for a story ever, and besides, even if--"

"Even if your tastes are different than your sister's, that is still no excuse for making fun of her! Give her notebook back to her right now!"

Fabi shoved the notebook back at Siobhan, a dark scowl upon her face. "Here," she snarled. "Oh, and by the way, it's kind of obvious that that story isn't about just some random girl. It's all about poor, poor YOU. Well, I've got news for you, Siobhan, you're not the only one with problems around here. In fact, I bet that place in your story is way worse than your life right now, but no, it's some sort of big adventure to you, isn't it? Oh my gosh, you are such a child! I wish those goblins of yours would take you away right now!"

The sliding door of the family mini-van flew open, and Siobhan felt a jerk as her seat-belt released her. She felt herself falling out of the open door, saw Fabi's furious expression give way to one of pure horror, and then knew nothing more.

The pencil ran over the white paper in ferocity as a figure began to take shape. Fawn bit her lip in concentration and her eyes went in and out of focus as her imagination flowed onto the paper. One figure than two... and a smaller smudge to the side.

The first figure was tall, lean, but not all together skinny. The second a little shorter, but definitely female. The smudge to the side soon had eyes and a wide smile full of sharp teeth. A castle corridor stretched out behind all three of them and a large labyrinth laid out outside the window at the side. Fawn took a break and looked over her artwork and looked out the window to the view of downtown Anaheim and the City Hall across the street. It wasn't a labyrinth, that's for sure.

"Fawn, what are you doing here?" her mother came into the room and looked at the sketch pad in her hands, "I swear, girl, if you don't get your mind out of those fantasy worlds and into your real life, you're going to miss so much of what can be."

"Not much there, mom," Fawn muttered and looked at the picture she drew again.

"Ok, honey," she sighed and tapped on Fawn's door, "Time for some errand work. Let's get going."

"In just a sec, I wanted to figure out her story," Fawn blended an angle on the female's face, "I wonder if she was wished away to the fae..."

"Sometimes I wish that fae or little goblins would come and take you away," her mother laughed at her daughter's playful pout. She turned from the room and walked down the hall and called back to her daughter, "Work awaits!"

"Yeah, I gue- what is that?" she tucked her sketch pad into her small bag and slung it over her shoulder to put it away. Her eyes re focused on a small spot moving below her window on the grass. It moved in and out of bushes and suddenly it looked up at her and smiled a broad smile with sharp teeth. The connection was made instantly.

"It can't be," Fawn whispered and turned abruptly as her door slammed shut and her lights flashed off. Chuckles were thrown at her from all around her room. And then she couldn't even see the moonlight from outside. She couldn't see anything.

"Hey Fawn," her mother knocked on the door and then opened it, "Fawn?"

The room was empty. No sign of her daughter or her sketch pad.

((Oookay. Let's try to revive this, shall we? ^__^))

Something was poking her in the side.

Poke.

Poke.

Pokepokepoke!

"Ugh... Fabi, stoppit," she groaned, eyes still shut. She lifted an arm to swat at her sister, who had obviously come into her room to badger her about waking up for school. Her hand connected a bit harder than she had meant it to, and she felt her sister jump back with a high-pitched yelp.

Wait. That didn't sound like Fabi...

Opening her eyes, Siobhan could not help but stare. She was lying spread-eagled on a floor of stone, an adobe-colored sky hovering high above her. High walls of stone that matched the floor rose on either side of her. And right in front of her, gaping at her as if SHE was the one out of place, was a goblin.

She didn't know how she knew it was a goblin; she just did. It looked exactly like the ones she had pictured in her mind when she was writing, at least...

The van! Fabi! Her notebook, and... Siobhan sat up with a gasp, sending the goblin scurrying for cover. She reached out a hand towards... him? Her? She couldn't be sure. It looked like a guy goblin, though...

"Wait!" The goblin did not stop, but dove behind a small, withered shrubbery growing beside the wall on her right that did absolutely nothing to hide him. "Wait, please. I'm not going to hurt you." Siobhan slowly rose to her feet, trying to not to startle the goblin even more than she already had. "It's okay," she continued in a soothing voice, as if speaking to a frightened puppy.

The goblin peered out at her from behind the bush. A scrub of dull, brown hair grew out of his head; he wore a dirty brown tunic and leggings with a beaten leather belt and no shoes. "Human!" He squeaked, as if he'd never seen one before. And if he was anything like the goblins in her story, perhaps he hadn't.

"Yes. Yes, I am a human," Siobhan replied. "But I'm not going to hurt you. I just want to ask you a question or two."

It was early evening. One look at the tall and gilded grandfather clock nearby gave the time-namely, half past six-and thus, in doing so, relieved Mina's tension. She fell back into the couch with a tired sigh. She was waiting for her mother to come home from work. This she did everyday, worried that on the way home, something could happen to her and she would not know about it. Luckily, her father always managed to be home before four o'clock. Right now, he was outside, playing with the dog.

Jack was in the kitchen, apparently making a sandwich. Mina picked up her book, namely, her history textbook (she had a test the next day, unfortunately, and had not studied at all) and began to read. She could not even get through the first paragraph without putting the book down and rubbing her temples. A headache was coming along, she just knew it. Well, it might have been more of the fact that Jack was now singing at the top of his lungs. She could not identify the song. She did not want to.

He sat down next to her, ignoring her entirely, and picked up the remote. The television turned on with just a press of the button and he started flipping through channels, taking a bite of what smelled like tuna fish every minute or so. Mina grimaced.

"What are you doing here?" she asked him. "You usually don't like being in the same room as me."

He turned to face her, his eyebrows raised and the sandwich halfway to his mouth. The channel had stopped at some insidious cartoon, namely one with a talking sponge and a pink star. He gave her an odd sort of grin, the one that clearly said, "Oh no. I'm in charge here." He was older than her by three years, so the grin's message might not have been inaccurate.

"Just watching TV. What's it to you?"

Nobou Tottori|| Saki was giving him the look again. He knew it. He could never escape her wrath. It was something that was there constantly. Especially after his mother called. It was always for the same thing, after all. It was always the same story. When was he going to propose, when would they start a family... For heaven's sake, he was only 22. He wasn't sure he was ready for such a commitment. But she wanted it. His mother wanted it. Oh yes, neither of them could wait. Which was downright irritating. He deserved better. He knew he did, which is why they always argued about it, silly as it sounds.

"Nobou, we've been together for 7 years now... Don't you think that it's time we really took the final steps of our relationship?"

"Saki, not this again.. Please, I can't handle all of that today. Work was stressful, and I just don't want to hear it."

"Oh, you're never going to grow a pair, are you?!"

That anger made him want to wet himself. Seriously. "I... I just need some more time! Can't it wait until we've lived together for a couple of months, and we know that this will really work out? We're at the ultimate test, as it is." If she didn't buy that, he was toast.

"Oh, you. You little..." The anger was contorting her face, and he was really, really scared. That she'd like... Explode or something. How could he explain blood and guts everywhere? Spontaneous combustion, maybe? No, that's a burning flesh smell.. Oh god, oh god, oh god.. "Bastard!" She screamed that one, as she left the room in a huff.

He'd done it again. He'd give her a few moments and.... Time to follow. "Baby, you know I just want to make sure that I can support you completely. The fact that I'm the only one working just means I have to strive to make sure that we can live under the same roof peacefully." He regretted it the moment he said it.

"You have NO consideration for my feelings, do you?!" Yeah, she was mad. "Sometimes, I wish you understood. Your thick little skull is something it just doesn't seem to get through! I wish... I wish you would go somewhere with people like you, so you could see just how much of a coward you really are!" And then, the door slammed in his face. Great, he was sleeping on the couch tonight...

Later on, as he fell asleep, he had this odd sensation in his body. That kind of lifting sensation. Then that floaty feeling... Then... nothing. Until he awoke when he thudded on the ground. Now where was he? This wasn't home... Oh dear, this wasn't good. This wasn't good at all.

Jun Echo|| "Let's be honest, shall we?" His men were weary from this journey. Yes, honestly was probably par for the course right now. "This mission is like suicide. Does anybody even know why the Queen wants this land?" Yeah, they were ordered here for some odd reason that Jun actually didn't understand at all. Was it Jareth? Oh, he remembered it like it was yesterday...

"Jun, you know you are the favorite of my guards." Those sultry words... She wanted something bad.

"Yes, my Queen. I will do whatever you ask of me." Which probably sounded good then, but certainly not now. His words reeked of being earnest and sincere. What a suck-up, he must have sounded like. But that's what she wanted.

"Then you will have no issue preforming this task for me. There is a land to the west, called Labyrinth. I want you to go there, negotiate with its King, and come back with our control of it."

It didn't sound pretty then, he should have known better. He certainly did now. "Yes, my Queen. What should I know of this Labyrinth?"

"Labyrinth is... Not the most beautiful of places. But, with our help, it can become great. It can become the most beautiful above-ground place there is. Only if they are willing to let us help them. Are you up for this task?"

"Yes, my Queen. Anything for the Sidhe Kingdom."

"Good, then get a team of men to go with you. You will leave tonight, at sundown."

"Yes, my Queen. You have my word that this task will be completed, or I will come back dead." Which was a silly thing to offer. Sidhe couldn't die as easily as they'd like to, after all! No, they essentially lived forever.. And could really only be killed by another Sidhe in battle. Or by other ugly ways, that were superbly hard to do. But ways were found.

"I have faith in you, Jun. Now go, and bring me back Labyrinth!"

----

How naive he had been! If only he had knew this place was so far away, or that it would be as ugly as it was looking to be. Oh lord, why him? Why was he in such good favor? Or maybe he wasn't, and this was just a punishment... Oh, god, he felt sick.

"Jun, are you alright?" Gentry was seriously worried for him. He described him as looking more and more fatigued every time they set out after a rest. Maybe he was, he'd never know without a mirror.

"I'm fine. Let's just get to this place and get it over with."

Gentry nodded, as they continued course. It wasn't long before they encountered a maze. Well, now, wasn't that lovely. Why would there be a maze here? Unless... Oh, no. It so figured. Labyrinth, maze? Hello, should have made that connection..

"Alright. We'll split up in half, and meet at the other end. Got it?" Of course they had it, they listened like a good team should. As they headed into the maze, he sighed heavily. He knew they shouldn't split up... But it had to be better this way.

"It's nothing to me," Mina shot back cooly.

"Good." With that, he wolfed down the sandwich and swallowed. He changed the channel again, this time resting on a show that involved aliens of some sort. Mina did not care. She went back to her textbook and tried to drown out the noise. Jack, thankfully, was quiet, watching the show with the attention he never showed her, even when she tried in vain to have a conversation with him.

It was always like this, ever since she was born and especially more so once they knew how to walk and talk. They had not ever gotten alonged, nor agreed with anything. What one liked, the other hated with passion. The only exception to this were the fantasy novels and fairy tale books their parents read to them as children. They even had a favorite story-it was about the princess and the goblins. George Macdonald was the writer. They would not admit it now, though at times, Mina would catch Jack reading the book in the solitude of his room.

The noise from the TV seemed louder now. There was laughter now. Mina gritted her teeth and slammed her textbook shut, turning around to look at Jack, with the remote still in his hand. He had an innocent look on his face, but the look was far from sincere.

"Something wrong, sis?" he asked her.

"You were turning the volume up on purpose, weren't you?"

"Question?" The goblin asked in a voice that was both gravelly and squeaky at once.

"Yes, a question. Or two," Siobhan reminded him. She decided that it was a him. "First of all, where am I?"

The goblin threw back its head and began to laugh uproariously. It was quite a change from its previous timidness. "Where is she! Where is she, the human asks!" Finally, he calmed down enough to answer. "Human is in the Labyrinth, of course! Where else would she be?"

"The... the Labyrinth?" Siobhan tested the word out on her tongue. It was strange to her; she couldn't remember ever hearing about such a place before.

"Yes, the Labyrinth." The goblin nodded before turning and sprinting off. Siobhan cried out and made to grab for it, but of course it was too far away.

"Wait!" She yelled as it drew ever further away. "I still--"

"A question or two! A question or two! Two questions you've asked, and Gobble has answered!" Came the mocking mantra.

"Come BACK here, you little--" She began to run after it, but it was surprisingly swift on its feet. The goblin giggled to itself until finally Siobhan, gasping for air, had to stop and stare helplessly until she couldn't see it anymore.

"...Great," she eventually groaned, leaning against the stone wall. "Just great. Now what am I going to do?" She gazed up at the sky, her brow furrowed worriedly. "I'm stuck in a strange place, I don't know anything about it, the one person--thing--that I could have asked just ran off on me..."

Siobhan heaved a sigh and stood upright again. Placing one foot in front of the other, she began to walk down the roofless corridor that she was in. "Well, come on, feet," she muttered as she made her way down the path. "There's got to be someone else I can ask about this place."
