For guys at least in my experience, you start checking girls out like day two, but you couldn't do a real relationship. There's this girl in my German class. She's new, and Oh My F#@$ing God she's cute! But the familiarity that comes with a relationship is scary at the moment. I don't want to lose another piece of my heart, I feel like I'm being chipped away you know?

I understand guys, it's hard esp. if you still love your ex (which is my case)

Yeaaaah...I don't date anymore. I've only had one official boyfriend, and that was in sixth grade. We liked each other, and pretty much everyone in the school knew it and kept trying to hook us up together. After we did though, we only lasted one month. I still have feelings for this guy, too. He's the ONLY guy I would've converted my religion for, and my mom would've given her blessing for it, too.

So in high school I went out with this one guy. We really liked each other and texted each other like, 24/7 (driving my phone bill up to $500 because I didn't have unlimited---still don't) until one month after our first official date, he told me that he became someone else's boyfriend. I was devastated for ages. Didn't help that he playfully proposed to me the first day we met.

College rolls around...I dated #2's brother and we're supposed to be best friends. We had it going really nice, too.

Unfortunately, none of the above worked out and none of us talk to each other anymore. So I guess y'all can see why I'm a little bitter about dating.

I just hate being single. I prefer to have a girlfriend, or at least a good crush (the kind you know likes you back). I love flirting and talking to girls constantly, but at the moment I couldn't do a real relationship I don't think. I might love something casual, since it's never freaking happened. lol.

I don't do casual liking very well. >.> I was completely in love with my last boyfriend, unfortunately circumstances prevented the relationship from continuing against our will. When I fall, I fall hard, so I try not to let myself fall very often.

I realized just this year that I'm a horrible flirt, so now I tend to moderate myself around guys quite a bit. I've broken a couple of hearts because my guy friends took me too seriously and I didn't think they would. I hate the personalities of most females, though, so I just can't win, lol.

I don't want casual liking. However I don't want to let myself fall too hard again for a while. I want to have some fun with someone, and not feel like I owe them my soul. That's all.

I know what you mean. It's hard to strike that kind of balance. It seems like people either want a one night stand or marriage, anymore.

Yeah, we're doing the just friends thing now. I'm worried I'll freak when she finds someone new to date. However I'm sure if I have someone new by then I'll worry much less. I don't want her to end up with a jerk or anything.

@ Sarofset, aww :( Why what's going on? I'm good though, I have reading week on Monday so I'm enjoying my time of from school.

@Wynna: My fiance left me Wednesday. So I'm still a bit down about that. The fun part is comforting her about it, because I still love her, and want her to be happy. XD I'm pathetic.

At least school is going well. I'm getting good grades, and have good friends. I'm even going to a larp tonight with a friend of mine. It's a vampire game, and it's loads of fun. :) It should help to distract.

Oh LARPing, that's something I've never done before, I honestly don't know whether it would be fun or not.

...Did I not just say it is fun? lol. It depends on the group though. Some of them are awesome, and others are overly dramatic and annoying.
