Collin looks at Shan. You can see that he is thinking about what she just said. He screws up his face, then he makes a horrible noise. After a while, you realise that he is actually laughing. "Short!" he shouts and holds up his thumb and a finger about one inch apart. He continues laughing for a while, than he comes back to her table. "Shaahhn food!" he says again, this time more sure of himself.
He is still chuckling (if you can call it that) as he makes his way to the kitchen.
"Shaahhn food" he shouts over the tavern noise, making sure that he is heard.

Shan jumped up slightly, startled, and looked at the space between Collin's fingers. Then her gaze followed him as he moved around and towards the kitchen. Her face was a deeper shade of red by the time he had said her name. "Uh-um... you don't have to..."

After waiting patiently for a while at the kitchen door, Collin pokes his head inside.
"Shaahhn food", he says, talking to no one particular. "Shaahhn small, much food!" He holds up his thumb and a finger, about an inch apart. He laughs - a very disturbing noise.

Shan flinched. Her cheeks were getting even redder, if possible. She wondered if she could hide herself, without actually hiding herself.Oh my goodness. I always seem to get myself in odd situations when I leave home. Strange luck...She sighed softly.

After waiting for a long time, Collin decides that he has had enough. Nobody is reacting in the kitchen at all! He is used to people running away when he shows up, but he hasn't seen anything like that before.
Since the kitchen seems to be empty, he looks into some of the pots that are simmering on the stove. He finds something that looks and smells like some kind of meaty stew - but there are no plates nearby.
He scratches his head, grabs two spoons and the pot and carries it over to Shan's table.

"Shaaahhn small, foood big!" he says as he sits down next to Shan. <he hands her one of the spoons and starts digging in.

He is obviously expecting Shan to dig in, too.

Shan looked at him, clearly bewildered. She took a spoon and looked at food. She wasn't sure how hungry she was anymore, but she certainly did not want to upset him. She took a spoonful of soup gingerly. "Oh, it's quite good."

After eating about half of the stew, Collin sets down his spoon and looks at Shan for a bit. He is glad that she' s eating. Being so tiny can't be normal!
He seems to be completely content whatching the pretty girl eat. He doen't need much entertainment, it seems.

Shan kept on eating. Collin seemed happy enough, and she would do anything she could from upsetting him. She wasn't quite sure she wanted to see him when he was upset. He looked like he could do quite a bit of damage.
