what we need is a bad guy like a slade bad guy someone that never dies and keeps annoying them.

Agreed,we need a real bad guy.Since it's a different universe version of Earth,it could very well be a modified version of Slade,or any other pre-existing bad guy.Or we could create an entirely new villain...

*Le Gasp!* PERFECT!! Ok,so here's my idea.We're on an entirely different Earth,we can name it later,where superhumans exist but have not formed any alliances yet.We come in where Deathstroke,the Deathstroke of this new Earth,is rising to power and getting ready to take over the entire world.(later int he rp,he can expand his ambition towards other Earth's if you want.) Open scene,several superhuman teens meet in a city (to be determined later) and fight a minor villain (perhaps a Deathsroke minion) together and defeat them,and decide to band together to form their own version of the Teen Titans.

How's that?

A little too similar to the DCNU(DC new universe) because the titans are new and almost everything is a Blank Slate.

darnit!!! My ideas...all of them have already been done...
but since that is the case,we'll just have to borrow from the originals.I like my idea of a Robin coming to a different Earth and forming a new Teen Titans out of the superhumans who are already there.

Hello Gokol, you posted in my request thread - so I came to find the Titans RP thread you were talking about. I haven't fully decided to join yet, but I can help with planning.

If Robin from the Teen Titans-verse were to travel into an alternate universe, he would need a good reason for doing so.

I'm thinking we can take elements from Kang the Conqueror - even though he is marvel. Ahha. By this I mean, of course - a super villain from our world (in the future) travels to other worlds - one of them being the Teen Titan's universe - and destroys them.

Robin, being the detective that he is - finds out where he originated, comes to his earth during our time period and helps put together a Teen Titans group in our world to help battle the Kang like character as he first starts to develop.

This would be very interesting as well - because we could have Raven, Beast boy, etc.... characters from our verse - so Robin would feel like he already knows them... yet they have no idea who he is! (Very troubling for him, I'm sure!)

If we were to go with this idea, of course - having all of the DC-verse included would be a stretch, because this is supposed to be a world where meta-humans just live naturally, without any allegiance, so super heroes such as Batman and Superman wouldn't necessarily be around, and the events that caused them to become superheros to begin with may not have even occurred because its an alternate universe!

What do you guys think of all that? Ahha.

There are like at least 4 robins and I am actually against a world were I can't have the whole verse. Even in the animated series didn't ignore such things completely. Doom Patrol anyone?

What was the problem with having this set in the canon Teen Titans universe?

I'm just a tad bit confused - this is in the fan-based forum and not the planning forum - I was expecting there to already be a bit of a plot/back story.

You really seem to know what you want, so why don't you tell us and we can work from there?

That's why it says in progress and looking for helpers. Long have my Rps been a communal project. I have some ideas built up over the years and some have had several attempts and years of history to deal with. Frankly I've been in one serious Teen titans Rps I 've almost joined several of them, and they took up an entire forum. The one I wanted to join Episode 66 vanished on me someday.
It's limited toward creating our and Deathstroke being called Slade for one.
Some characters are hard to imagine in the animated series medium. I like some characters from other mediums too. I am not just titan fan. Argent's name still meaning Silver yet her constructs being Red in the creation.
I have yet to read all the go comics and forget where I could find them.
After all the Titan's comics I've read at the library I am more used to saying Titans Together then Tiger's go!
Like I said we can take plenty of characters who can only be found in other verses.

We are free to modify history as we feel fit. I got some characters from my old RP I am transferring over some of which are related to canons and then I just remembered about my Titan's universe team I am ashamed. I loved the idea so much and I don't forget about it.

I am posting this before done so I don't risk losing all this progress and this browser crashing on me before I am done.
Feel free to post after this if you have too, but keep in mind this isn't done yet.

I understand that you want to include other characters - but not everyone has the same knowledge-base as you when it comes to superheros and comics and other verses.

As well, not everyone likes to play multiple characters, so including all of these people might be a bit tricky if no one can play them.

All you've said so far is that you want all these characters included - but there is no suggestion for any kind of plot. Why are they all coming together? Are all these characters actually going to be on a team? Or do they just exist in the same world our role-play is taking place in?

If we keep it canon to the Teen Titans universe - the show universe - I think it will make it accessible to more people. We can still include other characters, and all the robins - but it gives everyone a familiar base to work with.

No.I think it would be far too confusing to have ALL the Robins in there.My thought was that it's an entirely new Earth where Metahumans exist but have no alliegances or ties to others.Everything is peaceful until a Deathstroke/Slade type villain appears from another earth and starts causing trouble.A group of Metahumans who happen to be in the same city at the time decide to try and fight him,but they don't know how.Meanwhile,a Robin from the same Earth as this new Deathstroke/Slade follows him to the new Earth.This Robin sees the group of Metahumans attempting to fight back,and helps them,thus becoming their leader.That's my idea for the premise of the story.

I personally am not capable of playing Canon characters.I also cannot play more than two characters at a time.I much prefer OC's.

I think having mostly OC's would help make our story and universe more original and independant from other preexisting Earth's.

These are my opinions,and I just want to put in that I don't want to take part in a roleplay where we're just copying the Teen Titans,with all their characters and everything.NO,no,no.In that regard,Sansa,I do not like your idea.I think an entirely new batch of heroes would be best.
