I think so... I haven't been on yesterday to be sure anyway.
But those people with insane amount makes me think so.

It's possible. It might also have to do with the fact there are a lot more people on today then yesterday as well. Plus they may have up the rate yesterday to make up for all the lag and errors that happened after the event started.

Gah ever since I turned of the sigs I have hardly been getting any orchids or buds.

Event objects are harder to get if there are a lot more people online.
It means 50% are getting more than the other 50% that is on.
Or it might be only 20% considering our population has grown a lot, otherwise it would be a fair amount all around.

And its not just in here or posting that you the buds and flowers.
I got a good amount from stalking around the avatar edit place, my inventory, my trades, games, etc.
That and there are people who keep refreshing the page to get more and thats why the site lags too. x.x;;

Either way it doesn't matter cause most of us will get screwed. :D
