aw, that sucks ._. i hate running shops alone, too, so i have my best friend helping me^^ i taught her how to use photoshop so she can do some pixeling, too. but since my shops became rather popular she's probably not going to open her own one anytime soon^^

my chinese is not fluent XD i only had 1 semester so far! but if possible i'm gonna take it till the end :O i luff it so much >w<
i wish they would teach us more about chinese culture. we get a bit of it (as you do with every language), but not too much ;_; *sniffs*

germany is a nice place. some of our culture sucks (like all that lederhosen crap...), but we have had cool artists and neat authors :O and the city i live in is quite nice^^ tons of oooold buildings!

Go Die gooo! Chinese...it's hella hard. The grammar and pronounciation are both pretty easy, but remembering and writing the characters take up a hella load of energy. X____X So many words and strokes and crap.

our chinese workbooks are pretty good, so atm i know 350 characters and i do a good job at remembering these XD just practising every day like in elementary school XD but i still love it, my fav subject ^___^

i can help you i you have any problems with photoshop x3 at least i can give you pixel art help^^ i'm not good at digital painting and stuff >.>
but to get started i'd maybe suggest you to browse devart for some nice tutorials :3 there's plenty of stuff :O that helped me alot when i was all new to photoshop^^ i'm not good at explaining everything without knowing where to start or what you wanna do XDDD but i'm good at judging pixel art and giving tips on what to improve :O

maybe try using more shades to prevent that 'crispy looking shading'. i usually use a basic colour and 4 shades: 2 darker ones, 2 lighter ones ;)

btw - i hope you saved it as gif and not jpg^^

I turned my JPEG into a GIF and that messed it up even more.

yeah.... you need to save it as gif right away. the transformation does awful things, yes ._. if you're not sure which format to use, always save it as psd first and then go and sek advice ;_; sorry about that, dear.

i don't see how to make it work. i read the FAQ and al, but all i get is a ton of pixel images i could put together in photoshop if i had the time... >.> so... maybe it's my laptop doesn't like java. but i'm not realy sure either. gaia's stuff works really fine ._.

Oh, it's because in that folder there's a file you have to click to make the program work. It will take a whiel for it to fully loading up though. I forgot what's the file's name is, since I'm in another computer. Wait I'll go to the thread and check it out for you. ^^

just double click it and give it time to load.
