The Town Square was uphill there and back, and the only thing the Special Event Store had in December was coal and oranges, if we were really lucky!
We had to learn Old Menewshan in school; and, by golly, if we got the grammar wrong, we were sentenced to stoke the fire at the Armory! We weren't allowed to Roleplay on weekends, and only after we had done our homework. If you were stuck up, you were called a "mainlander"! It was brutal, sonnie!

Back in MY day, Lance didn't disappear into the depths of the sea, he didn't! No, he stayed in one place like good islands should! (xD If you don't know Atlantis the user, you don't get this.)

In my day we had one pair of wings and by Scott that was enough for us!
