Hello. Welcome to my Valentine 2010 Event Charity and Hangout! Let’s have a lot of fun this event. :)

Quite a few of you may recognize ‘At the End of the Rainbow’. It’s my charity – feel free to visit us sometime. I love seeing new faces, as well as old faces I haven’t seen for a while. I also love my dear regulars, but they visit us anyway. It's also the name of my exchange thread, inactive questthread and all my recent Event Threads, most notably the Halloween and Festival of Winter Nights 09 Events, during which we were one of the biggest threads around.

Anyway, seeing as how there is currently another event going on, I thought it would be nice to remake my event hangout and charity. After all, I plan on giving some things away during the event – as always – which will mostly be gold, some commons, EIs and probably a few CIs! Watch out for the pageprizes. :)

So, now onto me. I am Silenia, female, living and born in the Netherlands (or Holland, as some of you guys call it). I don’t really mind what you call me (a few examples are Sil, Silly, Silenia and Selly) as long as I know it’s me you’re addressing - and as long as you are not insulting me, or anyone else, with the name you call me. xD And no, I don’t consider Silly an insult – it’s my title of honor.

My mule account is 'Mule of Silenia', so if you get a donation from that account instead of this, or see me posting around, you know it's me. My charity mule, from which all charity-related donations will come is ‘At the End of the Rainbow’.

Oh, and please do read all rules. They’re pretty basic, but I don’t want catfights on my hands, okay?

~Rules~

Well, here are the rules. They’re not difficult to understand, or to follow, I think. They’re the same rules I used last event, and in my opinion, they worked pretty well.

1. Follow the ToS and Site Rules.
2. No begging! It is fine to tell me that you are questing, but do NOT start whining about how much gold you need or how it is to get a certain item. It annoys me, and will not get you anything.
3. Try to be friendly to your fellow posters. I don’t say everyone has to become BFFs, but I do not want fights in my thread. If someone knowingly breaks Mene’s rules, report them. Don’t start insult-wars, please.
4. NO 1337-speak, using capital letters in the middle of words (unless there is a REASON for it), etc. I want to be able to understand what you say, not puzzle half an hour to find out.
5. Pageprizes and/or Quotecontests can only be won by people who have either posted at least five times in this hangout, or have more than twenty posts in my charity. I don’t want people to lurk and snatch away a pageprize without ever talking with us. If you are hoping for a random donation, again, chat with us. I don’t promise that I will donate, but I surely won’t donate if I have never seen you before.
6. You cannot win more than two quote-contests in a row.
7. DO NOT JOIN CONTESTS IF YOU WILL NOT ACCEPT THE PRIZE IF YOU WIN. Yes, Clair, I mean you here, as well as a few stubborn others. Pageprizes not included.

Starting at: 2PM CST
Theme: Menewsha
Rounds/Questions: 10
Per round you can win one point. First to guess correct wins said point. Person with most points wins the game.
Prize: One set of FoWN 08 EIs for the winner!
Everyone else who gets points but does not win, gets 25g per point scored.
No entry fee!

SPECIFIC CONTEST-RELATED RULES:
- About twenty minutes before the game starts, I will ask who wants to join. You can enter up until five minutes before the game starts. Game started and you're not on the list? You can't play the game. You can stay and chat, though.

- When I post a question - with number - in big-sized font in the thread, you can guess. Per round you can guess ONE time. Only if everyone has guessed, and no one had the correct answer, you can guess again - and I will POST THAT THIS IS THE CASE if that happens. Guesses are to be posted IN the thread.

-If you are one of the contestants, NO EDITING YOUR POSTS if a round is going on. If I catch you at this, it does not matter WHAT you edited in or out, you are disqualified.

-If you have to leave in the middle of the game, please notify me. It's annoying to wait for someone's reply, only to find out he or she logged of twenty minutes ago.

-If you made a typo in your answer, it is wrong. Only exception is when you forget a capital letter or accidentally put one in.

-I will QUOTE the winning post per question.

I will wait with buying for a while, since I tend to use event currency and I want to wait a bit, at least to see the first EI.

I need to earn some money in order to get any of the items. im try ing to save the event coin this time round. not that i'll get much of anything. but at least on mene i know At most I'll get ONE outfit. anyone know if Rainy's gonna do a thread?

that's probably also the best idea, I just couldn't help myself when I saw the giant syringe ^^'
