About the Party
Cessy asked if I'd help her host a party this year and I was happy to help. She thought it would be fun to have a party game too and thought colorful piñatas were the most fun party game she could think of at the time, so we've spent a few days making piñatas together and filling them with fun prizes for you all to receive!

Cecilia will explain how to play in the second post!

About the Piñatas
These piñatas are full of holiday foods, things to keep you warm, toys, some gold, and accessories. They also have at least a few rare items in them and at least one quite valuable item. Like all piñatas, the majority of the items within are small things. We had to have enough prizes to go around for everyone who plays!

It is entirely up to chance what items you get based on how hard you hit the piñata when it's posted. If you end up playing multiple games with us, there is the possibility you may win another of the same prize. If you don't like any item you win, please feel free to give it away, sell it back to the store (if it's a common item), or sell it in your shop. It's yours!

Welcome to the party!!! We're going to have lots of fun together! *giggle* This is how you play, okay?

How to Play

• Hang out in the thread until Uncle Nalin or I bring a piñata out to play with!
• When we post a piñata, read the post to get the code to roll a 75 sided dice along with whatever else you want to say! (Please don't only roll the dice! Say something else too!)
  OH - and you can only take one whack each time we post a new piñata, okay?
• Chat with us and each other until the piñata breaks! We'll post the broken piñata so you know you can't take a whack at it if you didn't do it already.
• When the piñata breaks, we have to tally up a list of who won what - so stay patient!
• When we know who won what, we'll send out the trades! This may take awhile, okay? But be patient and have fun - you'll get your prizes! Promise!
• Hang out and have fun until we post the next piñata!

That's it! n_n Easy, isn't it?

How to Roll the Dice
If you don't know how to roll a dice, don't worry - we'll tell you! But here's the code, just in case, okay?

For you it'll look like this:
[size=4][color=orange]*WHooooooosh*[/color][/size]
[dice=1]50[/dice]


And then (assuming it were a 75 sided dice, still) it'll look like this when you post:
The 75-sided dice lands on 28

^ See that number at the end, the 27? That's how hard I whacked the piñata! And that's what number prize I'd get if I were playing!

If more than one person got the same number, we'd all get the same prize! So if the prize were True Love Wings and six people all got number 27, all six of us would win the True Love Wings!

Page Prizes
We also thought it'd be a good idea to have page prizes for this thread to keep it active when we were waiting for new piñatas to dry or when we're taking care of carolers in our caroling threads or when we're doing something else like sleeping. *smiles*

There is a winner every 25 pages. The second poster on the page wins whatever prize is listed for that page. As a bonus, every poster on that page wins 25 gold! (But you only get the bonus once, so if it were only two people chatting on the winning page, they each only get 25 gold.)

Many threads this event are handing out Winter Nights EIs as participation prizes just for playing. This thread is all about simply participating in order to be handed goodies, so that was deemed unnecessary! But you certainly can win the Winter Nights 2010 EIs just for playing here!

This is where we'll show off all the pretty piñatas! You can put them in your signature, if you want! (Just don't post the picture in the thread and confuse everyone! Only Uncle Nalin or me can run the piñata game, okay?)
