Poppet, my friend and I went to Chili's and they have this meal thing going for $35 where you and another person get a margarita, (on the rocks or blended) an appetizer to share, an entree for each person and then a dessert to share. It was a fabulous deal. Anyways, half through my margarita you could tell it was hitting me cause I was giggling and getting silly. One of the best lunches I have been to in a long time.

We want soft tender meat and not stringy tough meat. Need a little fat on the bones to make that happen.

That might be part of my problem, now that you mention it. I had a glass of wine with dinner. Buuuutt I *accidentally* poured a little much into my glass. I don't drink, not like I did when I was in my teens (bad I know), so it gets me pretty well these days.

I feel you Poppet! My drinking is nowhere near where it once was (not that it was ever excessive by any stretch of the imagination) but most weeks I don't even have one alcoholic drink a week. So one margarita is bound to fuck me up.

You caught me. I used to be a huge drinker. I could out drink almost anyone. Not sure why, since I'm 100lbs wet. Alcoholism runs in my family, so that could have something to do with it? But I was never addicted to it or anything. I only drank socially. Nowadays I only drink wine. If we're out to dinner I'll have a mixed drink, maybe a couple of beers a month. Not like I was when I had *issues*.

Alcoholism runs on my dad's side of the family, so I avoided alcohol for a long time, until I was 21. After that, I was known to have a few beers on the weekends with friends at their house, or out at the bar. Always responsibly.

Beer is one that I am uber picky about. Not up for drinking whatever is there and I will actually turn it down if it's the Coors family...gross.

Lol! I'll drink anything, except jager. I cannot stand the taste or smell of that stuff. But, if it was all that was there.... lol.

I have low standards.

I loved Jager bombs...one summer that was the drink of choice, especially since I wasn't the one buying them. Heh.
Now, I stick to Vodka Cranberries or MGD. Depends on my mood and where I am at.
