Ross settled in for the night and savored the memory of the meal. " You think they dreamed of us?" He asked, knowing of one of the side effects of being bitten. He was looking forward to tonight very much.

"It's possible." Skylar grinned briefly. "If they did, I hope they were good dreams." He settled down and yawned again. "We might find out later."

" I hope so too. " Ross said closing his eyes.


Emily woke up from a wonderful dream. She couldn't wait to tell Mae about the man she saw.

Mae took a little longer to wake up, and when she did she blinked herself awake slowly, still half-caught in her dream. She yawned briefly and sat up, rubbing her eyes.

"What time 's it?" she mumbled, looking over at Emily.

" It's only six in the morning. We could fall asleep for an hour or two or we could explore a bit before breakfast. " Emily said.

"Might as well explore." Mae yawned again and got up, stretching and cracking a few joints so she would wake up a little more. "Hey, I had this kinda weird dream last night."

" I did too. Did your's involve a guy by any chance? " She asked as she stretched her arms.

"Yeah. How'd you guess?" Mae blinked at her, grabbing a jacket to pull on. The house was kind of chilly, but she didn't feel like getting all the way dressed yet.

" Just a guess. " Emily said. She thought about the man with the dark green eyes and black hair. The dream seemed so real. " Should we start downstairs ? " She asked.

"Sure. Might as well." Mae started walking around, being careful not to step on anything while she walked, just in case.

Emily was careful as she walked, not sure how safe this house really was. She had a feeling that the man in her dream was close by.

Mae just walked around, exploring the lower level of the house. Most of the house was covered in dust, and she sneezed a few times as she walked around. So far she hadn't found anything overly interesting; it was just a really old, dusty house.

" I wonder if anyone ever lived here . " She thought out loud and sneezed. To her it seemed no one had lived here.

"If they did, it must have been a long time ago. There's no electricity here." Mae rubbed her eyes briefly and continued looking around. "I mean, there's furniture and stuff, so someone had to live here at some point, right?"

"Right." Emily said looking around." Want to go upstairs or eat something?" She asked. Emily was feeling hungyer than usual and wondered if it was because of her nerves yesterday.

Mae shrugged. "I think I'm going to go explore a bit more, but you can go eat if you want. I'll only take a few minutes."

" Alright. Be careful. " Emily said and went back to the kitchen. She got dressed and ate a chocolate covered granola bar. She couldn't shake the dream from the night before from her head.

Mae didn't explore much more, just going up the stairs to get a mental layout of the house completed in her head, before she made her way back to the kitchen to grab breakfast.

"So what now?"

" Don't know. Want to look in the basement?" Emily asked. She hoped there was a way to get down there, since she had assumed there was one from the windows outside.
