So I've been told I should start a runway, and I like the idea more the more I think about it. Except for that whole title thing. Clever titles are hard!

Anyway, this seems like a good place to catalogue my favorite avatars so I'll remember the important bits about them. I'm only going to put my own designs up, because otherwise I'll wind up with a runway full of Mythos, Ethos, Roxxxy, and Velvet designs.

Ooh, Ouran. I loved that show. I'd love to read the manga eventually. The new items are totally perfect for that, and Revolutionary Girl Utena.

The manga is better... but the book is always better. I like the anime, but I have trouble with the dubbed version because I got used to the original voices...

I figure, there are always more details in the book/manga.
I can't remember if I watched the show dubbed or with subtitles; I think it was on netflix, so dubs are likely. I usually pick dubs first anyway, because I'm always working on crafts when I watch TV, and I can't read and craft at the same time. I like watching the subtitled version later though, because you get different translations between subs and dubs. Watching both brings out extra subtleties.

Yeah... when I knew Japanese better I enjoyed comparing my own translations to the subs. Now... I do not remember Japanese except for a few words. And I've gotten more and more toward watching dubs, because I'm also usually busy while watching tv.

Aaah, I would love to learn Japanese. I keep telling myself I should master Spanish first before I move on to other languages, but eehh, Spanish just doesn't interest me very much. It's just so bloody useful around here, and I've already had years of classes, so it seems a waste not to...

I took Japanese in college for my language requirement... I'm lucky that I pick up languages easily, but I lose them just as easily when I haven't been practicing them. I've taken French, Spanish, Japanese, and Cherokee, and I only remember a couple of words of each because I just haven't practiced those languages.
