This fan-fiction evolves the band Celtic Thunder and in this story Damian McGinty is still with the band, though in real life he has moved onto Glee. I know that Neil Byrne is in the band too, but right now I chose to just stick with the five main singers. I will be writing from the first person perspective of Brid McKay, an ordinary girl who meets the band.

Chapter 1
As I stroll through the streets of Lincoln, Nebraska the sound of girls screaming in excitement reaches my ears and sparks my curiosity. I pinpoint the direction of the chaos and move off in that direction, finally coming upon the throng of screaming females. The mass of humanity is pushing and jostling and before I know it, I am sucked into the mass. I tighten my grip on the shoulder strap of my military style duffel and try to stay on my feet.
Before I know it, I have been pushed up to the front somehow and pressed up against the barrier. I look around for the source of the excitement and see the guys of Celtic Thunder making their way down the line toward us. The girls next to me scream as blond, handsome Keith Harkin moves a few people closer.
Keith is within arms reach of me when a tingle shoots down my spine and my senses scream
Something is wrong! At the same moment I catch a something out of my peripheral vision. I turn my head slightly, getting a better look at what caught my eye without making it obvious. A shady looking man skulking in the shadows reaches into his jacket. He points it and my eyes instantly flash down the trajectory to see its target: Keith Harkin.
Without a thought, I lean forward towards Keith and shove him back at the same moment that the gun shot rings out. My eyes are locked onto Keith's unique colored eyes which are full of surprise and confusion as around us pandemonium breaks out. In panic, people are screaming, shoving and running. Someone slams into me from one side, knocking me into the person on the other. Don't go down; you will trampled to death, my brain screams. But no matter how I try, I am knocked off my feet in the chaos.
I hit the pavement in a sea of flailing legs and feet. Someone's foot connects with my ribs and I gasp as pain knifes through them. Another foot lands on my shoulder and blinding hot stab of pain, my shoulder snaps out of the socket. With a cry, I curl into a ball, resigned to the fact that this is how I am going to die.
