"I'm still offering. Come on over. See you soon." He told her and hung up. He sighed and went to the bathroom to take a quick shower. He smelled after a long day. The kittens tried to follow him into the bathroom but stopped when they realized there was water in the bathroom. He took of his clothes and got in the shower. The warm water felt nice after a long day.

Amelia peered at herself in the mirror and shrugged, she was out of school so what did it matter. The least she did was take her hair down and cleaned off some of the paint. She washed her face off quickly before grabbing her keys and a small carrier basket for the kitten. She took these to the car and hopped in after grabbing out his address. She followed her GPS to his house and got out, walking up to the door and knocking.

Since Angel was in the shower his sister was the one who answered. She was carrying her precious baby in her hands. She most definatly seemed like his wife in this situation. "Hello, are you Amelia? Angel told me you were coming to look at the kittens." She let her in with a smile and closed the door. The house looked very nice inside with fancy wood floors and red furniture. "I'm Emily, it's nice to meet you. This is my baby Dia." Up stairs Angel got out of the shower and went to his room to change.

(I wanted to use the sister in a plot twist kind of way.)

(I was thinking down the road I could bring an ex in, maybe an ex fiancee XD But the sister would work :) )

Amelia blinked as she looked at the woman before her. She seemed like she was probably Dark's wife, and that must be their child. She felt a pang of something in her... was that jealousy? She laughed mentally, of course not. On the outside was a still, calm mask of politeness, "It is nice to meet you, and what a beautiful baby," Her voice was light and cheery. She contemplated if she ever really wanted children of her own. At one point she had but... that was all behind her now. He was the past, "And where are those kittens?"

Angel walked down stairs in a red t-shirt and black jeans, the kittens followed close behind him. 8 adorable little monsters of which Amelia could choose from. "Hey Amelia. These are the kittens. Thanks for letting her in Emily." Emily nodded and went into the kitchen to feed Dia. "I see you met my niece and my sister." He said with a smile and rubbed a hand through his still wet hair.

Of course after hearing that they were family, Amelia felt a rush of relief, "Yes, and I must say what a beautiful family you have. Now we know which one got the beauty," She teased, referring to Emily, "Are these the darlings I am to choose from?" She smiled as she bent down to look at the kittens. She was never good at deciding when it came to things like this.

"Of course Emily got the beauty. Men are handsome not beautiful." He was ready for the tease she had thrown at him. The kittens crowded around her to play and chose to climb on her and some on Angel. "They like to climb on things." He chuckled emmbarresed for some reason. "I recomend this kitten." It was a cute black kitten with a heart shaped mark of white fur on its head.

"Apparently the 'handsome' gene did not reach you," She teased further before her attention turned towards the offered kitten. She couldn't help but smile, he was so adorable, "You know, he has what you're missing," She laughed, taking the kitten and he instantly began to purr. Her eyes softened at this, "Now, does this little guy already have a name?" She asked before she thought she needed to decide on one.

"We haven't named any of them. I actually resorted to calling them kittens 1 through 8." angel started to laugh a bit at the truth. He really had labeled them kittens 1 through 8. It was horrible how bad he was at naming this. "That one is number 7. The lucky cat." He couldn't help but to smile at how the kitten was reacting to her.

Amelia cocked an eyebrow, "Oh my, it should be a crime for you to be able to have kittens then," She joked, poking the small kittne's stomach, "The lucky cat, eh? I think seven is a suitable name," She grinned, "He is used to it now after all," She sighed, looking at her cell phone for the time. She needed to go before something happened, her ex always managed to find her some way, somehow. Especially if she was out doing things like this, "I am sorry, but I kind of need to leave already..." Her voice actually held a hind of fear.

"All ready? But the kittens want you to play with them! Look at their little faces!" As if on que the kittens all had pleading eyes. Angel had trained his little minions well. Emily came out of the kitchen and moved past them going up stairs to put Dia to bed. Suddenly there was a knock on the door and Angel went to answer it. "Hello?" He asked opening the door.

Maybe this one time things would be okay, maybe he wouldn't come... besides, these kittens really were just too cute to leave. She gave in instantly and leaned down to play with all of them. Just when she thought she was safe, there was a knock on the door and something in the pit of her stomach told Amelia that it was the one peson she did not want to say. She froze at the sound of the voice, it was so familiar, "Is Amelia here?" It sounded angry.

"I don't know an Amelia." Angel didn't like the look of this guy and he immiediatly slammed the door in his face and locked all three locks. "Go up stairs! Now!" He whispered harshly as the person banged on the door. This was not good. The kittens mewled in distress. They knew something bad was happening.

Amelia ran upstairs with the kittens, not questioning him. Frankly, she was stunned into silence. How was it that he always managed to find her? She had blocked his number and everything, she did not think he stalked her or else she would probably be dead by now, literally. Frowning, she sat in a daze. Should she tell Angel everything? The banging was still loud and clear through out the house.

Angel hurried up stairs and locked the door to the room they were all in. He pulled out his cell phone and dialed 911. "Hello, there is a man trying to break into my house to hurt a young girl. I need the police as quickly as possible." He gave them the information they needed and hung up. "So who the hell is this mysterious guy?" He questioned her.

The banging ran through Amelia and she just barely heard Angel ask her who he was. She kept her mouth shut, not wanting to say anything. This was her own personal life and she had already brought him in far enough. He had a sister and a neice to worry about, there was no way she was going to endanger them anymore. She sat silently and just petted her new kitten, Seven. Her brown eyes wandered over to Angel. She was afraid to say anything.

"Amelia, you need to tell me. You're obviously in danger. As your teacher I can't let you get hurt." Angel heard sirens outside as the police arrived and the banging stopped. He went downstairs and peeked out the window right before a cop knocked on the door. He escorted the cop in a brought her to Amelia. "Tell her what is going on Amelia."

Amelia frowned, "This isn't any of your business," She said to Angel in a defeated voice, "As for the cop, sure," She said and walked away with the cop. She refused to talk in front of Angel. She told the police woman about how after she broke off her engagement to the man six months ago because he would threaten and abus her, that he started to just turn up wherever she was. Especially if she was out and about with other people... men. The cop nodded and they left, having the information they needed.

Angel sighed from his hiding place. He had amazingly succeeded in following them. He went to get Seven and returned to Amelia with him. "Do you want me to take you home?" He asked. Anyone could see the hurt in his eyes. Students were suppose to be able to trust their teachers but he fealt like she didn't trust him.

Amelia took Seven from him and looked at his eyes. She frowned, feeling bad slightly but she thought it was for his own sake that she hadn't told him. "Look, this is my life and you have your own family to worry about. I am used to shouldering all of my own problems, it was how I was raised..." Her voice was slightly sad at the loss of being close to anyone. She petted Seven, finally answering his question, "But I drove myself."

"All right. I'll see you at school tomorrow. Be careful on your way home." He walked her to her car and closed the door behind her before walking back to his house. He had a feeling this was not the last they would see of her ex. He realized it was getting somewhat late and went straight to bed. I wonder what tomorrow will bring. He thought.

Amelia nodded, said her good byes to everyone and headed to her car. Today had been a bit too exciting for her and the kitten seemed to sense it. Seven rubbed his cheek up against Amelia as she climbed into the car. She placed Seven in the pet basket she had brought with her, started her car and drove off to her house. She looked at the clock, it was late, so she decided she would just go to bed after she got home. Within fifteen minutes she was there, Seven was asleep so she carefully carried the basket into the house, opened the door and set it on the ground.

Amelia switched into her oversized T shit that she usually slept in and crawled into bed. Something told her that this was not over but she hoped to have some peace for awhile.

Amelia yawned and sat up, stretching. She defiantely was not a morning person and did not want to wake up. Her thoughts instantly turned to what happened the night before. How was she ever going to show her face in front of the teacher after that. He knew too much about her personal life now and she was afraid that she had dragged him into this. That was not good but there was nothing she could do about it for now.

Amelia slid out of bed, hopped in a shower and then came back out into her room. Seven was now on her bed as if waiting for her. She smiled, petting the top of his head before going over to her dresser and selecting out the clothes for the day. She pulled on a striped button up top, a waste high pencil skirt and a pair of lime stilletoes. She applied some make up, left her hair down and grabbed her bag once more before heading out. She walked across the campus to the Science building. Today, she would not be late.

She arrived to see she was the first one there and so she took a seat next to the windows but towards the front. She did not want to make it seem like last night had changed anything.

"Good morning Ms. Amelia. Is Seven doing all right?" Angel hadn't even looked her way when she walked in so it was amazing he knew it was her. He was scary like that. Angel shuffled through his papers busily and got the work ready. "You're pretty early. You realize school doesn't require you to be here for another 15 minutes right?" He asked and went to the board and writing down the assignment visibly cringing at the chalk.

"Oh, uh," Amelia was caught off guard for a moment, "Yes, Seven is wonderful. He ended up sleeping all the way home last night." She smiled slightly at the thought. It was nice to finally have a little friend at her house, it made her feel safer slightly, "I know but...I was late yesterday. I suppose I did not even realize what time it was before I arrived." She gave a small shrug.

Angel smiled even though Amelia could see it. "That is good to hear. Since you're here so early would you mind helping me get everything for the lesson set up?" He questioned as he took out books from his desk and placeing them on top of it. None of the desks had books under them yet. He looked at the board to make sure he had writen everything properly. It seemed to be so.
