Mari ran backwards and caught the football as it sailed towards her. She held it under her arm and ran towards teh touchdown line. She weaved in and out of the lines of tacklers/defenders as tehy waioted to stop her. Soon she had reached the touchdown line with a touchdown. She let out a woop and jumped up in the air and threw teh football down in victory. She smiled. then she went back to the line of scrimmage.

He laughed watching her, which messed up his breathing. Slowing down to get it back on track he watched her, and more importantly, he watched the boys she was playing with. They were perverts and he had knows them for a while. They all went to school togeather from preschool to now. He didn't like them at all, but didn't say anything, just kept running, hoping that they wouldn't do anything to her.

Some guys held up their ahnds and she high fived them. then she squatted ready to tackle as the otehr team hiked. Her team called a "Hell Mary" and she nodded. The team's quarterback caught teh ball. as soon as he did her team ran at home and tried to tackle him (the quarterback). wWithin seconds he was tackled.

Getting his breath back he worked back up to speed, actually faster. As he ran he continued to watch the girl.

Other girls, had gathered on the bleachers watching him run. This wasn't unusual for him. He normally ran everyday after school. And the girls usually showed up t o watch him. He didn't mind much, he had learned to ignore them and just go on with his life, as much as he could.

About an hour later Mari was exhuaste, sweaty, and longign for a shower. She stopped to catch her breath. She sat down on tyeh grass and bgegan panting. soon her breath was back to mnormal and she walked over to her backpack. She took it, waved good bye to the guys, and began walking home.

He kept running a while after she had left, He normally ran/jogged/walked for an hour and a half to two hours every day. Once he had finished, he got his things out from under the bleachers and talked to the girls for a bit.

Seeming distracted the girls let him go earlier than they normally do. Sighing he walked to his car, got in and drove home. He couldn't stop thinking about Mari and it annoyed him. How could someone he just met be stuck on his mind so much?

Mari got home and opened teh door with her key. She ran upstairs and quickly took a shower. Then she went back downstairs adn began to do/did her homework.

When he got home he took a shower. Changing into a pair of PJ bottoms and nothing else, he walked over to the couch, folded it out into a bed, and crawled ontop of it, watching TV. He could just watch TV in his own bed, in his room, but he hated being shut up like that, atleast, when he has the whole house to himself.

Soon Mari was finished with her homework and it was dinner time. She ate dinner adn then went upstairs to hr bedroom. She chanegd itno ehr pajamas and crawled into bed. then she fell asleep.

He didn't even bother to go to his room. He stayed on the fold out couch watching TV untill he finally fell asleep. His dreams were different than ususal. She was in them now.

Mari woke up the next day fully refreshed. She stretched as the first beams of sunlight shone through her window and fell on her. She got up and changed into a pair of light pink jean shorts and a white tank top. She put on teh same shoes as yestrday. Then she went oto teh bathyroom and brushed her hair. Then she went downstairs and ate breakfast. After eating she went back upstairs and brushed her teeth. Then she took her backpack and began walkign to school.

Damien woke up, got dressed into a black wife beater and a pair of loose fitting, light blue jeans. He walked down the stairs and into the kitchen, where he made himself breakfast. Once he finished eating he walked back upstairs, brushing his teeth. Once finished he grabbed his book bag and rushed to his car.

Halfway to school from his house he saw Mari walking. "Want a ride?" He said slowing down.

Mari turned at the sound of someone's voice. "Sure." she said. She got into his car happy/glad for the ride.

Damien turned up the radio a little bit, it was country and he enjoyed it. "Ready for another fun filled day at school?" He said sarcasticly.

"oh yeah." Mari said rolling her eyes.

Turning he pulled into the school parking lot. He pulled into a space, the same space he pulled into every day. There was still another thirty minutes untill the Homeroom class bell would ring.

Mari looked at her watch. "Wow we're early." she said.

"I always am." He smiled, taking the keys out of the egnision, grabbing his bookbag and getting out of the car.

Mari looked a little suspicious but got out of the ar. "Sow aht do you do?" she asked him tilting her head curiously. Her gold earrings clinked against her necklace.

"Help teachers. Get help if I need it. Walk around. Get annoyed by all the girls that think I'm the most geourgouse thing in the world." He started walking towards the school.

Mari nodded.

"What are you going to do?" He asked. Then he remembered. "The guys play football before and after school."

"Okay." Mari said a little more excitedly. "Is it okay if I play with them?" she asked him warily.

"Yes you can. Just be careful. I don't want to end up beating someone because I hear that they touched you in a way that they shouldn't."

"It's okay." Mari said, "I can take care of myself." she said (sort of) mad that he was acting like her brotehr or father.
