woooo. nice thread. currently i am reading Percy Jackson and the Battle of the Labyrinth.
for those who have not heard of it; it was about greek mythology in the modern world. you know like zeus, hades, aphrodite the demigods and the like.
i am still waiting to read book 5 of the Percy Jackson series. the book is great though the movie did not give much of a justice to it. there are lots of characters that are omitted and the storyline was overhauled. i love the book better. Hades was a bit cute there.. :P

I've started reading Covet by JR Ward. But I'm half way through a book. Called New Moan by "Stephfory Mayo"...Which is basically a piss-take of The Twilight series. It's pretty funny so far. Considering I really don't like the Twilight Saga. I won't diss it. Leave it for New Moan. xD

Last week, I just finished reading the first novel to "Flowers in the Attic". Before I had even started reading the book, I was seeing movie trailers of the 1980's movie and searched all over the web to see it, but to no avail. Then, as I was about halfway through the book, my younger brother was able to find the movie. I won't give anything away to those who haven't read this series yet, but I can assure you that the movies are like 75% different compared to the book. I'm not saying the movie was bad, but I much prefer the books over the movies. I'm currently trying to find the next three volumes to see what happens next.
If you love gothic tales, mystery, drama, and..how can I put this lightly?..um...child abuse?...then I would recommend this book to any who enjoy these types of genres.

Right now, I'm doing my Big Re-Read (TM) of all the Sherlock Holmes stories. Today, I got to cry over his "death" all over again. Bloody depressing, wanted to give Watson a hug! D;

I am currently reading Mitch Albom's For One More Day. I like his two other books, Tuesdays with Morrie and Five People You Meet In Heaven. I'm not even half way done with it but I know that it is heartwarming. As always Mitch's books are full of wisdoms.

Right now I'm reading the Iliad for school, and A Series of Unfortunate Events for fun. It's been so long since I've read this series, and I love it so much~ And, I've never read the Iliad until now, only the Odyssey, so so far it's pretty awesome!~ :]

I am currently reading Twilight for the 6th time! lol I just love that series! I get just as involved and just as lost in it as I did the first time I read it and now I pick up some new little detail every time I read through it. It's a great book.

I am currently reading Alice's Adventure in Wonderland by Lewis Carrol. I have not watched any of the movies before, so I thought I should read the book before I see them. I am looking forward to seeing Tim Burtons new Alice in Wonderland movie coming out next week. I plan on going to see this movie soon, but after I finish reading the book.
