I went to see "Twilight" and caught the trailer for "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix". I realized I didn't remember a single thing from the book, so I went back and read it again. I'm also reading a book called "The Luxe", which is pretty much light reading. I wouldn't rate it much above "alright".

I'm trying to find a Tamora Pierce book so I can keep going on one of her series, but it's either extremely rare or extremely popular. I can't find it anywhere in town. So, I'm stuck on good old Harry & company for the time being.

An advanced copy of 3 Willows by Ann Brashares. So far, I haven't really been able to get into it.

I think I'm going to try to rush through and take notes on Cesar's Way before that paperbackswap member actually puts a request on it. :sweat:

I don't like the idea of not knowing anything, and if I take notes I'll always have the information.

Reading Pride and Prejudice now. It's been about two and a half years since I last read it so I'm enjoying it.

I just finished Club Dead by Charlaine Harris and started reading Dead to the World which is the 4th book in the series.

Inkheart by Cornelia Funke

I rather like it! It's a cute book, and I absolutely adore the main character's spirit.

John Wyndham's The Day of the Triffids. It's a sci-fi book from the 50's involving mass blindness and deadly plants. I'd read it a long time ago and forgotten it at my relatives house, and found it while I was rummaging around for something to read. Glad I rediscovered it, it's eerie but it's a gem.

I'd recommend it to fans of José Saramago's Blindness, as they're quite similar in theme and plot at times, or fans of zombie movies (or something along the lines of 28 Days Later), as it's got that kind of post-apocalyptic feel.
