I was actually very lucky and received one via the giving tree during the last event. I just kept checking the marketplace for the harpy cape and could never find one for sale myself. Then I realized that there were only 16 sales total in the marketplace, so I was curious as to whether or not there would be more available in the future (or if other capes were released via other means).

I know that there were a lot given to Nalin (and Aimee) for the Advent Calendar. I don't know how many, total, were sold or given out as gifts. :x

The forum part kind of died when the MP was put into place. Most people seem to find it easier to go there and click to buy an item right away.

I still rather use the forum part since I'm only a fan of prices about 60% of the time. :lol:

@vicky: I meant why is it so...dead? I remember when posts streamed maybe 5 per minute in the marketplace. Now it's like...one post an hour. D:

It's sad how dead the Exchange has gotten. :(

The exchange is still my favorite place to hang out :)
and I get better deals here in the exchange - so I don't use the MP much at all XD

No it isn't. You have to use the MP as a guide. :)

I have a question for ya'll marketplace addicts. The Menewshan Rare Item Guide hasn't been updated in a long while (not a big deal to staff, I get that you guys are super busy!!). Since I took one of them silly hiatuses and conveniently thought I would never return so I got rid of most of my stuff I am now updating my thread and questing and all that fun jazz to get everything...but I don't know all the items!

Yes yes I can go scouring through the old event forums and peoples threads and all that fun stuff, but I thought I'd reach out first and see if anyone was hiding a beautiful list of items (the ones that are missing from the guide).

AND THEN TO STAFF: if someone does have a giant list of missing items, if I formatted it to match the guide, would you benefit from it for a quick copy paste? :)

yeah the event FAQ's always have the event rares, don't they?
also if you put in 'ei' you get most of the event rares in the market place search
