Bane knew he should continue to joke with Jamie but his words just seemed to echo inside his head, making him wonder what he meant by them or if he was just saying it to tease him and joke around. ”Maybe I'll just marry her instead." They haven’t talked about marriage together or even if they wanted this relationship to go to the next level. Though they were taking a new step in it by moving in together even if it meant they were going to live in a completely different place than they were now.

He stood there, stunned for a moment before he snapped out of it, hugging him tighter to his chest.”And just who do you plan on marrying? I hope you know I won’t be giving my daughter up that easily.” he was trying to joke and tease back but he knew that he was being serious about his words. He could hear his own heart beat as it raced in anticipation of what Jamie might say next, hoping that the red head would say what he had been thinking.

”which is enough time for me to get everything packed up. Get what I need from Raven’s school and to make sure we have plenty of money, a place to live and a job lined up before we dash off into the sunset.” His hand brushed red hair out of that pale face while hazel eyes met with brown eyes. He took in every feature before he pressed their lips together once more, relishing in how soft and inviting they were. He knew what Jamie wanted to say as he wanted the same thing and thought about the same thing. Though he was going to make sure he did plenty of research a head of time so that when it finally did happen he would not hurt his lover at all.

Bane tried not to look crestfallen at his words, he knew the hour grew late as the clock on the wall was a constant reminder of how much time they had spent together. As much as he wanted him to stay, to never leave, he had to let him go. ”you should head back. You need sleep and have school in the morning.” the embrace was broken by them both, the older had to turn away so that he wouldn’t cave and ask for his partner to stay with him. ”I have this weekend off. Maybe this time you can stay for it.” he mumbled the words, rubbing the back of his head before he turned to lol at the young man.

And yet, the seriousness of Bane's words went over Jamie's head. He patted the other man on the back, kissing the other man back. "Don't underestimate my love for your daughter. One day, you'll see. Better love me lots or she'll steal me away from you." He laughed at his own joke, before turning away to locate his shoes. He was feeling more and more than he needed to leave, knowing that although he hadn't overstayed his welcome, that he'd also been over here too long.

"Okay, since I don't know how long that will take. I hope you can figure everything out by my graduation ceremony because I want you to come even if my mum gets upset. That's her own problem; I'll be an adult then anyway." Jamie dropped to his hands and knees, peering around until he finally found his shoes half behind the couch. He didn't exactly remember taking them off, but he must have not long after arriving because they'd gotten pushed back when Raven pulled out all her drawings. Plopping down, he started to shimmy into them, turning so he could face Bane again. "Yeah, that's what I was thinking. So yeah, I'll see you tomorrow. And...ah!" He bounced to his feet again, throwing his arms around Bane in a last hug. "I'll definitely stay over for the weekend too! That sounds so amazing!"

Pulling away again, Jamie bounced from foot to foot. "So...bye?"

Bane sighed heavily as his question went ignored by the male. ”If she does need up stealing you away from me....it will be extremely hard for me to deal with it.” he frowned, having to let the male go so he could bounce around the room like he needed to do so. He chuckled to himself as his partner had boundless energy just like his daughter which made them perfect for each other as a family in his opinion.

”Of course I will come to your graduation. Your an adult now or are you not 18?” he asked him, grinning at Jamie as he crawled around on the floor looking for his shoes. He climbed into the couch, leaning over the bck of it to look down at the male, alone moving to the arm of the couch to lean over it to continue to look at him. He grinned at him even more, laughing loudly as he hugged the male back, nuzzling his neck before placing a kiss on it.

”I really do hope you can stay for the whole weekend this time instead of only staying a few hours before having to go back home.” Bane kisses him lovingly on the lips before making sure that Jamie had everything. He escorted the male to the back door since it was pointed in the didectjon he had to go in. ”Good bye my energetic love.” he kissed him deeply before finally letting him go home, watching that slim form disappear before he headed back inside to sleep himself.

"Yes, I suppose I am, but I'll really be an adult when I graduate. No one can call me 'just' a high schooler again." Jamie nodded to himself, feeling very sure of his words. All his problems would be solved at that point and who could tell him what to do? Not his parents and not even the teachers. At that point, he would be free. "And don't worry, I'll stay longer over the weekend, I promise. I've got a paper to finish for English and that's it." The rest of his homework didn't matter near as much so he felt no desire to put aside time that could be better spent with Bane. And he hated to do homework in front of the other man because it made him feel too childish.

Walking to the door, he paused just before it, turning to smile at Bane. "Love you too!" Kissing him back, Jamie lingered a second before he turned and fled. A flush had risen on his cheeks, but his step was jaunty the entire way down the drive where he waved a last time before turning to sprint back home. The sun disappeared in the sky long ago, but street lights gave the way a healthy golden glow. He felt no fear and no hesitation, always running straight ahead like he did.

When Jamie reached home, he saw the lights in the living room still one, a reading light in his parent's bedroom as well. Just as he approached the drive way, he saw the curtain pull back, his father's eye staring straight down at him. Even though Jamie ducked down under a plant, he knew he'd been spotting anyway. His window had been closed and more than likely locked from the inside. Well, looked like he was going in through the front door. Taking in a deep breath, he walked in, calling out in his most cheerful voice.

"Mum, da, I'm home!" The bright smile lay only skin deep though. This would definitely turn into a long night.

Bane did not see his boyfriend for the next two days. Of course he was worried about the male but he figured that it had something to do with his parents so he stayed away so that he wouldn’t make things worse for Jamie. As much as he missed and wanted to be with him he also understand that his parents were doing what was best for him. With that said it didn’t mean that he didn’t go to the park hoping to spot the red head and find out what happened.

It was the afternoon, the sun was bright, a gentle cooling breeze could be felt. In the small backyard, there was one tree to cast shade for the father and daughter. There was a cardboard city and toys littered about for the people. Bane was outside with his daughter, to busy to notice if Jamie came into the yard. Raven was being a superhero and Bane was the bad guy but what made this scene odd was the fact that they weren’t playing their little game anymore.

Instead they were twirling and doing silly dance movies as the sang frozen’s let It go at the top of their lungs. Which was a funny sight considering you had this big, burly man who’s voice was to deep to pull the song off, singing a girly Disney song just for his daughter. The only reason they were outside is because they were waiting for the cupcakes to cool enough before the icing and chocolate covered strawberries were placed on top. Which they had those stashed in the fridge so they wouldn’t go bad or melt from being in room temperature.

This wasn't fair. Jamie promised to spend the whole weekend with Bane, but he found himself stuck at the kitchen counter, spinning a pencil on top of a half finished study guide. He already read over every word a hundred times, but he couldn't concentrate on it enough to answer the questions. Ever since he came home Friday night, he couldn't get a single moment of peace. His parent's watched him like a hawk and wasn't allowed to spend time in his room with the door closed. This had to be a crime right? He wanted to see Bane. He wanted to give Raven so many hugs. The key burned against his skin where he tied it around his neck. At least his parent's hadn't noticed that, but what good was it if he couldn't slip away?

Finally, a shrill barking broke the house's silence. Jamie looked up to see his mother’s papillon sitting in front of the door, looking more than a little upset. No one got up in response, even when the little dog began to claw which seemed like a pretty terrible thing for the door’s wood surface.

“Jamie! I’m stuck on this phone call, dear. Could you take Leslie out for a minute? She just needs to pee right?” His mom called, her head stuck out from study room. Jamie set his pencil down, eyeing the dog and its leash hung next to the door. Just a minute? Honestly, his mom hadn’t walked the dog since yesterday so he should feel sorry for the thing even if it was a spoiled, ill-mannered thing. At least the papillon looked cute.

“Right! I’ll be back in ten, then. Or so…” he added under his breath. Putting on his shoes, he grabbed the leash and a minute later, was out the door with the dog trotting at his feet. In his other hand, he held his phone as he typed out a quick text to Bane.

'Meet me at the park?’

Babe and Raven has left the backyard as a mess, it looked as if a hurricane had blown through it. Which wasn’t surprising since little kids were naturally messy, he would have her clean it up but he felt as if she deserved some fun and the cleaning could happen later when there wasn’t any day light left.

Currently at the moment, Raven and he were in the kitchen, were there seemed to be more icing on the little girl than there was on the cupcakes. She even tried to put all the strawberries onto one cupcake, making Bane go back and fix it, explaining why she couldn’t do that. It felt rather nice to just spend time with her like this, to spoil her and have her all to himself. Since Jamie came into their life he felt as if his precious daughter abandoned him for the feminine male, he didn’t consider that a bad thing though since he loved him just as much as his daughter.

”Cause All of me, loves all of you. Love your curves and all your edges.”

Upon hearing his ringtone go off specially set for Jamie’s number, he had to lick the icing off his hands so he could read it, smiling before he sent a quick reply back.

’Be there soon. Got a surprise for you.’

[b]”Hey, Ray, Mamie is waiting for us at the park so how about we take three cupcakes with us?”[\b] Bane suggested as he put three of the cupcakes in a container, placing it in a bag so that Raven could carry it.

“Yes! And I am going to tell Mamie all about what we did!” She said excitedly as she bounced around a bit, helping to put the finished cupcakes away along with cleaning up their mess as best as she could. She squirmed as Bane stubbed her arms and face free of icing before she grabbed the back and bounded out the door. Bane didn’t have time to finish cleaning her or himself up before the black haired girl ran out the house. He quickly gave chase, licking and closing the door behind him before he finally caught up with her, promptly scolding her for such a thing as they safely made their way to the park. Both of them eager to see the second most important person in their life.

Leslie running ahead and pulling on the leash every five seconds, Jamie made it to the park even quicker than at his normal pace. His parents gave him a free pass with this so he didn't want to squander it even if he could still only spend a few minutes with Bane and Raven. Spying an empty blue plastic bench in the center of the park, he started for it, finally slowing his pace so that he could enjoy the green grass under his feet. The park itself didn't amount to much, mostly designed for children and the parents who watched them rather than joggers or dog walkers. Still, it had its fair share of greenery outside of the mulch beneath the swings. "Would you behave if I let you off the leash and played myself?" he asked the dog, glancing down before sighing. "Probably not. Some five year old will decide to take you home instead."

Laughing to himself, he plopped down on the bench with the leash held loosely in one hand as he watched the swings. The empty one swayed vaguely in the faint breeze created by a vigorous swinger next to it, the kid's untied shoelaces a ribbon of bright yellow in the sky. Jamie found himself smiling, waiting for the child he really wanted to see so he could push her in the other swing so high the other boy could only be sad in jealousy. Oh yes, Jamie was the best swing pusher in the world!

Bane was trying to get to the park as fast as Raven’s little legs would allow her while still being safe. The little girl was excited to see the teenager as he was a very important part of her life as she always had memories of him as far as she could remember. She was happily swinging the bat that held the container of cupcakes, effectively ruining them and having icing smashed all over the inside.

“Baby girl you going to ruin the cupcakes swinging them like that.” Babe said to the child as he scooped her up, holding her close so that he could move much faster to the park and to get her to stop swinging the bag. It wasn’t long before the park was in view, he headed towards the swings since he knew that was Jamie’s and Raven’s favorite place in the whole park.

“Mamie!” Raven screamed at the top of her Kong’s upon spotting the red head. Bane reeled back and blinked in surprise, he could feel his ears ringing, his daughter sure knew how to get someone’s attention. He quickly set the energetic bundle down as she had been squirming to get free. Raven threw the bag onto the ground as she ran over to the younger male, stoping as she gasped upon seeing the dog. “LeLe!! You brought LeLe!” She exclaimed, opting to throw her arms around the little thing, hugging it close and kissing the top of it’s head as the poor pup struggled to get free from her but she would not allow it.

Bane sighed heavily, smiling slightly as he picked up the bag and made his way over to his small family. “Hello there handsome. Are you trying to pick up other dad’s in this here park?” He said teasingly while leaning over the bench, pressing a kiss to Jamie’s cheek before offering him the bag that now held the destroyed cupcakes. “Sorry...she was excited to see you....so they got destroyed...might need a fork for them now.” He laughed a bit nervously before sitting down next to him, watching his daughter torment the poor dog that was in Jamie’s care.

"Ray!" Jamie cried as soon at the little girl's cry pierced the air, his own voice calling as much attention as the little girl's. He dropped to the ground, waiting for a hug, but instead, the girl's arms wrapped around Leslie. Pouting, Jamie looked down at Raven and the little brat dog who didn't deserve half as much love as it was getting. If not for being cute, the papillon would never get a single hug. "Aw, where's my hug. You're going to squish Leslie, Raven," he added with a sigh. Carefully prying the dog from her hands, he offered his arms again for a hug even as he sent Bane a sheepish look.

"If I went to the park looking for dads then I would be a very naughty high school student wouldn't I? Shush or you'll give that soccer mom in the corner the wrong idea." Despite his words, he winked, fighting back a chuckle. Just seeing Bane and Raven for a few seconds improved his mood. All weekend he'd been waiting for this, even more than he thought. Sitting on the park bench, he could feel his heart overflowing so much so that he was sure it showed on his face. Taking the cupcakes, he grinned, guessing what they looked like before Raven started swinging them around. "It's alright. They still look delicious." He didn't have the heart to say there would be no going back home to eat them with forks though. He just wanted to bask in this sunshine a little while longer.

Raven rubbed her cheek on top of Leslie’s head, squeezing the animal as tight as she could without killing it. “Awww....” she pouted as she was forced to let the dog go, not happy to have aJamie prying them apart. Raw energy grinned, hugging the teenager, kissing his cheek as the papillon licked at the icing that still clinger to her. I wuv you, Mamie.” She announces it as if he didn’t already know her feelings on him. She sooner giggled and turned her attention back to Leslie.

Bane gave his partner a reassuring smile in response, knowing that the red head was slightly hurt that the five year old was more instersted in the dog then either of them. “That you would be. I might have to punish you if you are.” He chuckled, enjoying being able to flirt and tease him over something so silly. “Who cares if she gets the wrong idea after all we are dating.” He wasn’t as nervous or shy and reserved about it as he was when they were first dating. No, he was more willing to admit to it and let everyone know just where he stood and who his romantic partner was as well.

“We were suppose to eat them together....I have better looking ones at home.” Bane chuckled, he had frosting on his clothes, hair and some on his face still where he had missed cleaning it off. “At least the chocolate covered strawberries look okay.” He pulled one out that was now covered in frosting and some of the cupcake part it self upon it. He placed an arm around Jamie’s shoulders, tugging him close as he kissed the top of his head. He sighed in relief as he settled in his spot, watching as Raven played with the papillon, though she stayed in their sight, knowing better then to run off.

Jamie rolled his eyes, but was glad to receive his hug. If he got nothing else, he could live with that. "Here, Raven. Do you think you can keep Leslie company while me and your dad talk?" he asked, offering the little girl the leash. Although it might turn out to be a bad idea to give someone so little responsibility over a dog not perfectly trained, they would remain without eyesight at least. "I'll push you on the swing later if you do a good job, kay?"

Chuckling to himself, he turned back to Bane. "That should buy us a few minutes though I really want to snuggle with my cutie wittle Raven baby too!" Leaning against Bane's side, he continued to grin his brightest, this time, the smile fully reaching his eyes. At the moment, his home drama didn't exist, just his family of two right here. "Y-yeah, we are dating," he added with a flush. "I wouldn't mind proclaiming that to the world, but I thought you might worry."

"Anyway," he shook his head. "Sorry I couldn't come over like I promised. My parents grounded me and only let me go out to walk the dog. I probably can't stay long either or it will look suspicious." Sighing to himself, he dropped a head onto the older man's shoulder. "I really want to go to your place and eat cupcakes though..."

“Mmmm yes!! I can take care of Lele!” Raven said excitedly as she bounced in her spot, snatching the leash. “Promise?” She gasped, her eyes growing wide in excitement, as she thought about being pushed on the swing. Jamie always pushed her really high, far higher than her own father would since he was worried about her getting hurt. She then proceeded in running around the area with the small dog, laughing and squealing in delight as she was chased around the play area.

“Yea. She always turns us down when you have Leslie with you. Maybe it is about time I see about getting her a pet.” Band said to him absently, his smile growing as the red head snuggled into his side. He put an arm around his shoulder, tugging him close before offering him the strawberry to eat. He didn’t like strawberries, ate to many of them growing up so he much rather stay away from them now. Which meant he could feed them to his partner as much as he wanted too.

“Well when we first started dating of course I was worried about it. You weren’t even a legal adult and I could have been locked away as a pedo and Raven would have been taken away. My twin might take her in and raise her for me if something ever happened to me.” There he goes again with the dark thoughts and revealing his plan for Raven Incase anything ever happened to him. He shook his head to clear it of the negativity as he wanted to be positive and look for the good in life.

“Anyways my point is that now that you are eighteen and an adult in the eyes of the law that I don’t care who knows anymore and you can proclaim it all you want.” Band wanted his partner to know why he had worked so hard on bidding it before and why since the male’s eighteenth birthday things had changed and been more public with their affections and relationship, not just the fact that Jamie made him bolder in sick away.

He stroked the pale cheek, placing a soft kiss against his lips as his hazel eyes were brimming withlove as they peered into redish brown ones. “It is okay. I am happy to be able to just see you like this. I thought your parents did something to keep you away or that you had projects you needed to do that were more important than us.” He chuckled, looking back at his daughter who was trying to teach Leslie how to lay down. He tried not to let Jamie see or know but it had hurt that the male couldn’t come over and spend time with them like they had wanted. Bane knew it was a useless feeling as he had no control over the circumstances.

“Well I can put the rest where Rave can’f Get a hold of them and we can eat one every night for about two weeks. I kind of made a lot.” He chuckled, running his fingers through red locks as they sat back and relaxed on the bench. It was a nice day with the sun beating down on them and a cool breeze that blows through to cool their skin down from the sun’s heat.

"I promise," Jamie murmured back, already thinking about how delighted she would be. Even if he only got to push her for a few minutes, the joy would make coming here worth it. That and getting to lean against Bane like he'd been wanting to do for days. Honestly, the human shoulder made the perfect pillow. Tempur-pedic couldn't even come close.

Eating the strawberry that Bane offered, he hesitated only a second to take it straight from the other man's hands. After all, he said that they could proclaim it, even though Jamie's own cheeks flushed at the grossly affectionate gesture. As the other man continued to speak though, he pouted and wrapped his arms around Bane, wanting to take away the darkness that had set in. "You know you and Raven are the most important things to me, more important than school. I'm really mad at my parents so maybe I'll just run away and live with you instead. That's fine right?" Pressing another kiss to Bane's lips, he settled back down to snuggle against the other man's side.

"Nothing will happen to use now that I'm an adult and anyway, you were being too paranoid. It's not illegal to just date and e-even...kiss." He flushed again. "Being affectionate with you like this outside is like a dream come true. I want to stand on top of the playground and scream how much I love you, but maybe I'm growing less bold or something. Aren't you the brave one today?" After a last shake of his head, he turned his attention back to Raven and the bratty dog who somehow suited the little girl well. "I really can't stay long. I should probably go push her on the swing before it gets too late to." His parents would eventually wonder where he went, but he couldn't bring himself to get up either.
