It's been quiet, more or less. Nekocon was great; I managed to get my physical copy of FF XIV signed by the original voice of Yda/(redacted because spoilers, sweetie), and I picked up a couple items of Macross-related flair for my con bag.

I need to reorganize my movies and games, yay~ Such fun.

I went out and bought an artificial tree the other day, and just got ornaments hung on it yesterday. It'll be lucky to last till Christmas XD

One of the cats just will not leave it alone.

I can't have a big tree because my cats chew on the branches, which is not good for them even if it's a fake tree. So I just have a tiny tree that I put up out of reach. And that's the extent of my decorating...
I do have some really cool ornaments that I wish I could hang up somewhere, but I don't want them to be destroyed because they're collectables and kind of a new family heirloom.

In happier news, I might actually be almost on track to finish all my friend's Christmas presents. Before Christmas! Just picked up the fleece and felt for a poo emoji pillow for a friend, have the base parts of a stuffed animal made for another friend and just need to make a quick mug hug for the third friend and Christmas gifts are done!

Yeah, it's not as worrisome now since it usually comes back. And at this point if it went down and didn't I don't think any of us would be surprised. not that means we wouldn't be sad.

I feel like a heartless bitch saying this, but I don't think I'd be all that heartbroken about it.
I mean, I used to love Mene a lot, but after my long hiatus and return, I don't really feel like I'm all that close to anyone here. Like if I disappeared, no one would really care that much, so I have no strong attachments to the site.

But it is always sad when sites do die and I do miss them all a bit.

I still miss ernya and I wasn't as attatched to it as I am mene haha. Although we had like no time to come to terms with that before it happened. Totally blindsided.

So as sad as it is that mene is in the state it is, at least we see it coming.

I miss the avatars and item colors on Ernya more than the site itself. Probably because again, I had like a 5 year hiatus and when I returned everything was really cliquey and none of my friends were on anymore. The suddenness of it was a huge shock though.
