I'd reccommend going outside to see such a landscape, if possible. If not, try looking up pictures on deviantart.com and browsing under photography > animals, plants, and nature > landscapes. They have some very good pictures, and if you need help thinking about what it would look like in black and white, just copy/paste the picture into any program and turn it to grayscale mode. Basically, if you can't go out and see what you want to draw in person, find a picture (or several) to give you the next best experience. Good luck!

Hi, im new to this board, but im a manga artist and also not very good at landscapes. depends on the environment. water as you know is best distinguished by a reflection, also might want to make your lines lighter. as far as grass goes with a pencil, i cant help you much there... some lines maybe? look up different type of grass online and see what looks best for you. good luck with your art ^^
