good job mew. I am almost done with this stupid paper thing. And then i will post it on here. and you just have to read it and make sure it makes sense. and then i have to send off my interview and i am done. then i get to start my project on the violin that is due on the 30th.

The tests we took in this class taught me a lot about myself. My abilities and my weaknesses. We took the COPS survey as well as the SDS and the myers-brigs tests. For the Myers-Brigs test I came up as an INFP. For the COPS interest inventory my highest scores were consumer economics, outdoor, and service professional. My score for the SDS is Artistic, social and entertaining. When we did the skills assessment I had more skills working with things than with people or data, people was second however.
I have thought about many different careers that I could have. I’ve wanted to be a teacher, a veterinary technician, and a jeweler. All of the skills that came up in these tests are skills that can be used for these professions. Kids learn better through hands on activities, like crafts and games putting my artistic skills to use. Children also react to positive encouragement and communication, which uses my people skills. Being an INFP is helpful to be a teacher because of the patience we have for tough situations, like a rowdy classroom.
My skills would also be good for a veterinary technician. To be a vet tech you need to have a love of animals and the dedication to helping them. Patience is a virtue in this job since some animals can be disagreeable and hard to handle. You also need to communicate with the animals owner , which is where people skills come in. Having a steady hand is also something you need to have as a vet tech since one of the technicians jobs is to give shots and medicines to the animals that are brought in. As an INFP being a vet tech would be a good job since it contributes towards the happiness of a family.
As a jeweler skills like design and color coordination are essential. As a jeweler you create something unique and special that someone can wear. Simple jewelry is often selftaught, for example making beaded necklaces or bracelets. Harder skills like metal and wire work sometimes call for classes or degrees. As an INFP the things you create can also be a form of expression.
