Dear Food Network recipe,

Your flavor (or lack thereof) was hardly comparable to the Colorado chili I ate at the TA in Corning, California. That particular Colorado chili recipe was bursting with flavor. I sure wish I had that recipe. Your recipe wasn't salted enough and lacked a certain kick.
Fortunately, I had some Frank's Red Hot sauce on hand to save the day. And believe me, you needed saving.

My parents thought you were ok and my mother suggested using chicken instead of beef stew meat which really needed to simmer in a crock pot for six hours. No matter, I'm going to experiment with real sauce flavors before attempting this dish again.

also some people don't like this idea so i never tell them before: but toss a pinch of cinnamon in it before it starts to boil (or if you're using a slow cooker, before you let it do its slow cook thing)

Cinnamon, huh? I'll have to try that. Couldn't hurt. Who knows, cinnamon might be one of the colonel 's secret blend of eleven herbs and spices in addition to what this chili recipe needs.

I returned to that very same TA the other day and asked the manager about me acquiring the Colorado chili recipe. He told me it was "tied up in corporate". Whatever that means. So, I offered him a bribe of one dollar, but he declined. He even refused my second attempt of bribery at two dollars. I may have to take drastic action and offer twenty dollars.

I know my $5 would not have made a lot of difference to you since you already got your goal. But I think when you're asking people for money you should be gracious and kind towards the people that are applying to you. Dear Rental Angency,
I completely understand requiring someone to divulge all info about one's self and charging them a fee to do a background check on them so you will get dependable renters, but to require them to submit this info on an online applicarion is just stupid!
Some of the questions need further explanation and there is nobody to ask if you are doing it right...then the agency has the right to not refund the fee if you don't fill out the application right or happen to omit info.
Then there is the fact that this info is presented online puts one's identity at risk...not to mention that, if you are denied a rental agreement, points are added against your credit because they did a credit check and now my credit score is even lower for any other applications I may need to complete in order to attempt to rent another rental.
All applications should be done in person in front of a human that can offer assistance.
I hate this online generation of things!
