"Oh right, thanks for reminding me." will walked back and put his last name on the sheet of paper. "Better?" looking over at kilyo and smiling then grabbing her arm with his and smiled to her. "I don't think that anyone will come down this hallway so we should be safe."

She smiled, letting him take her arm. "I suppose so. Are you going to be escorting me to dinner, lordling?" She smiles.

"Of course my lady." will smiled "if anyone asks you are helping me due to a training incident." then looking to see if anyone was around he placed a quick peck on her cheek then blushed.

Kilyo blushed. "Okay." She looked at anywhere but the boy that who's arm she was holding. She was embarassed, not used to such attention.
They arrived at the hall and got their dinners, sitting down. "At least the food is better during the breaks." She said, after she had taken a few bites.

"Well of course it is better during the break. There are less students which means the chefs don't have to cook nearly as much food as during the regular year." will said enjoying his spaghetti and meatballs. Looking over at kilyo he smiled then brushed his hand against hers smiling. "So why are you spending the break here again?"

Kilyo smiled a little weakly, moving her hand away from his, using it to take a drink of water instead. "My parents are away from home and my siblings are doing the same. There was no reason for me to go back. What about you?" She smiles a little.

Staring down at his plate taking smaller bites will looked up "Well my powers aren't fully under my control and until they are these walls are my home." he then looked into kilyo's eyes noticing that they were very blue indeed. "Your eyes they are very pretty, you're very lucky to have such a beautiful set of eyes. They remind me of the deep part of the lake that you took me to." looking back down to avoid truly connecting with her eyes.

She looked down at her plate that was almost empty. "Um, thank you." She looked around at the very few others that were there, then back at Will. "Why aren't your powers fully under your control? If you don't mind my asking."

Will looked up at the ceiling "Well the wind is a hard thing to predict and even harder when you get emotional. Which is why most of us have to practice tai chi, a way of balancing ones inner self and resolving our inner conflicts." he got up and did a pose then moved slowly in a circle. "I admit i look kinda funny when i do this but it has to be done every hour at least once." smiling he sat back down.

Kilyo smiled and stood up, holding out her hand. "Your done eating right? I want you to come with me."

Will looked at her and took her hand very politely took her hand. "Where are you going to take me?"

She smiled. "Nowhere special, just have an idea." She lead him outside, back to the shore where they were earlier. She took off her shoes and rolled up the sleeves of her dress. She looked at him. "Take off your shoes and at least roll up your sleeves. For you, I think it would be better to be shirtless, but its up to you." She closed her eyes, breathing in and out slowly as she waited for him to do it, listening for when he was done.

Will looked at kilyo then grabbing the bottom of his shirt he took it off then he took off his pant legs turning them into shorts. Neatly folding everything he then took off his shoes and socks. Wading in next to her he took her hand "Ok well im ready now what?"

Kilyo tried not to stare once she opened her eyes and was only barely successful. She smiled a little to hide that fact. "Now start your tai chi. I'm going to do it with you. Water types have to learn it as well. It's wonderful for control, as I'm sure you have figured. Make sure your feet are firmly in the sand and I want you to listen to me while you do it." She smiled as she took the beginning stance, the neutral stance. Her breathing became slower and more regulated as she did so.

William watched her stare at his chest and thought well of himself then took the beginners stance that his teacher had taught him, almost exactly like kilyo's but his feet were positioned a little wider and angled out. His breathing slowed and his heartbeat grew louder inside his chest. Waiting for her to say something he just concentrated on his breathing. "I'm ready kilyo-san." smiling as he said this.

She smiled back. "Begin." She started, slowly going through the motions. After a little while, once she felt that Will was in the flow of doing tai chi, she spoke softly, the kind that would put you to sleep, no wake you. "Close your eyes. Feel the power within you." Water lept to her hands and flowed with her motions, moving with her. "Feel your connection to the earth. Feel the sand and the pulse beneath you. Feel the air. Notice the wind. Feel the air as it swirls about you, as you breathe it in and out. Feel the flow." She breathed in, more water having come to her. She closed her eyes, water flowing about her as she went. "Don't control it, don't do anything with it. Just feel it breathe with you, move with you, be with you."

Will was doing his motions that the teacher had taught him and noticed it was very smooth feeling more natural every time he went through them. When he closed his eyes he saw the flow of air around them and noticed something about himself, his internal flow was irregular. He started to loosen himself and the flow became more regular and he could see more with his eyes closed, such that he could see all of the elements but the wind around him was a neon blue. "I can feel everything, it has never been like this ever." he then slowed his breathing and sat in the water feeling how everything was connected he then noticed a bird and how it disrupted the air flow without opening his eyes.

Her eyes were closed and she smiled. "Good. Continue the exercise, feel your connection with the world, with the air." Water was now a giant whirlpool around Kilyo, swirling with her movements, not touching the ground, not disturbing anything but just there. Her blue hair swirls around and above her with the water. "Don't control, guide. Use the motions that you already know, that your already using, already have to move the air with you. Feel it as if your one being." She opened her eyes, not disrupting her movements, watching him, making sure he was alright.

Standing back up will tried to just adjust the flow of the air instead of force it to move. Gentle motions having it swirl around him like a vortex. Though much stronger than the one he had made before he felt less strain from forming it, smiling he looked over to kilyo. "Wow this is so much easier than it was before, how did you know that this would help me?"

She smiled at him. "Because it helped me. Water and air are not so different. Ones just more tangible." Her movements came to a close, the water gently returning to where it once was. "You should try to come out here to do this exercise everyday, like your teacher instructed. I'm pretty sure that was what he meant by having you do this, so that you could feel it. Everything has a pulse, an energy. Us elementals are merely guides for it, not powerful fools that can control. At one point or another, those fools are rebeled against and most lose their lives."

Looking over at her with a shock "You mean there have been people that have died from trying to control their element." he then looked down and he stopped his movements without stopping the vortex as he walked right into it it shot him 50 yards out into the lake and didn't come up as he was knocked unconscious.

"IDIOT!" She doved into the water, not bothering to take off her dress. The water propelled her to him and she grabbed him around the waist, hoisting him to the surface. She helped the water to take her to the shore and she laid him down. She checked his pulse and was thankful it was still going and he was still breathing. She opened his mouth and moved her hand, any water that went into his lungs coming out. She tried to wake him. "Will? Will, wake up? Come one, Will."

After being thrown 50 yard he didn't remember anything until he heard kilyo saying his name. Without opening his eyes "Did anyone catch the license plate of that truck?" he laughed then groaned "Well i must have injured something during my unexpected dip into the lake." just laying there he looked over at kilyo. "you got your dress wet for me." looking at her he pleaded with the wind to carry him to the infirmary. "I need to get to the nurses office, though i cant use my powers can you get me there?" he then passed out again due to pain.

Kilyo just stared at his unconscious body for a second. She couldnt believe he passed out again. She growled a little before standing and moving in small increments, causing water to swirl around Will and ended up lifting him. She walked behind, pushing him towards the infirmary.
When they got they, she got the water to lay him on the bed and she swooshed it out the window so as not to get anything wet. She looked at the nurse and explained what happened. She sat down in a chair next to the open window while the lady took a look at the boy. She was worried about him, some because it was partly her fault that he got hurt. "He should wake up soon." Kilyo nodded "Thank you" and then looked out the window as a cool breeze came in. Her eyes were more a stormy blue then the bright blue they usually are.

Will was dreaming about the wind and how it felt to fly. The soaring in the sky was rivaled my nothing in his book, suddenly in his dream he was being chased by a vortex causing him to be sucked in then thrown out. Sitting up very quickly and sweating profusely. "What happened? Why am i okay and why am i uninjured?" trying to move he felt his rib cage give in. "Well maybe im not as okay as i thought i was." smiling he laid back down and rested. Looking around he spotted kilyo. "Kilyo, thank you for helping me here when i passed out from training."
