Well hello there.
This is a thread I have made for us Britons as I failed to find an existing one. I am a returning user to Menewsha and what I used to find was Americans made up a great number of the populous here. So when I would come on according to my time zone it would be either very quiet or very lively!
Anyway, let's get together and chat about the freezing weather at the moment, your favourite tea, Keeping Calm, and all that nonsense.
Start by introducing yourself. And off we go!

What what! Who said tea
I'm a southern girl, from Bournemouth, but I live in Lincolnshire now. I'd move back to my home town if I had a few spare millions kicking around . I really have no life, I'm current off work so I spend all day sat on my bum on here, not that I manage to achieve much!
I like tea, I have half of one cupboard in my kitchen filled with various boxes of different kinds, which is saying something when I only have 3 cupboards for food

I shall begin.
I am 20, a Londoner, and a student. Freezing my arse off currently in my room. I enjoy creative writing, roleplaying, running through Royal Parks, exploring museums and bridges we have here, which are incredibly scenic at night. By favourite is Blackfriars. Night time walks along the Thames cannot be beaten.

By current favourite is apple and cinnamon tea. Yum!

I like Yorkshire tea particularly the hard water blend. Have you ever been to Cornwall? Or any other place with granite close to the surface? Wales and Scotland will be the same. Soft water...makes your hair limp and floppy, but makes the most divine tea EVER!!

Aha I was just having this conversation with my friends! One was saying he prefers the hard water blend for Yorkshire tea, and hard water is more difficult to get soap to lather.
Being a Londoner I should explore more of Great Britain. I have been to Fort William in Scotland though. It was very beautiful. My cousins lived there and their back garden was the mountains
I haven't been to Cornwall but I would love to check it out. Friends are always planning to go surfing there - on a day when it isn't raining!

Nice! I don't of any hotels personally but good luck finding one, it will be an awesome view! What time of 'concert' are you going to? I'm always in Camden going to rock concerts.

Cardinal Biggles: This Thursday through this Sunday (28 - 1.) XD
But we can totes line up other times. ;D

The O2 in London. There are 20,000 seats there. But it's Monty Python, and they haven't done anything togehter in decades. No doubt they will sell out in a flash. I have to make up my mind.

So the tickets went on sale. And I'm already hearing the word "Fiasco" being thrown about. They added four more shows, and still people were scrambling, and getting disappointed, they went so quickly. But somehow, yes, I got it.
