Good afternoon.

sorry for not responding I was in a weird mood yesterday resulting in me not wanting to chat with people yesterday.

You shouldn't move to an oven Zephi you'll make the place smell like burn flesh.

I've never gotten sick from the AC and it never get to hot her just humid that's the only time it sucks to be in my school other wise I just go into my basement when I can't handle the heat since it nice and cool down there in the summer.

It rained on me off & on most of the day, but it looks like it is starting to finally clear up some.

I don't mind the winter; that's why I live here. But to hear others complain about it makes me wonder why they don't live somewhere more...tropical.

Hey, I should know all about that sort of thought process. I live in a place where most individuals didn't even know it was habitable.

Uhm, but there are a few countries that have edges in teh arctic. And yea, I don't see why someone would live somewhere if they hated it and had all the freedom to move somewhere else. People like to complain I suppose.

True, there are some countries with arctic-like temperatures, and even some that extend into the arctic circle itself.
Ah yes, something I do often when it doesn't concern the weather.

Well if you like the cold, then you're in the right place. I don't think I'd like it, where ever you are, unless I was just visiting. Visiting to see the Northern Lights :P

And they are certainly beautiful. I was 'chasing' them last winter, trying to find a good vantage point. It's a shame I don't have a better camera to take photos; last year they were absolutely wild. They moved so quickly and flickered across the sky because of the solar flare.

That's just amazing. I want to take a trip when my kids are older, so that they will be able to appreciate the Aurora Borealis, and do that. Sad thing is that October/November is best time to see them? They would already be in school. Would have to be a short trip :(

Winter, generally, is best. It's because it's so dark from all the winter and the tilt of the earth. I am sure they're around all year long, but it's hard to see when the atmosphere is warmer.

Ah, it's definitely an experience.

It's moreso in person. The sky can glow with such incredible hues and colours, and then in a moment it can look like ribbons in the sky. Sometimes they move slowly, other times like a flickering ribbon.

Our winter has just been mostly rainy.
We have had so much rain that the lower part of my yard has about turned into a bog. We can barely turn the car around in the driveway it has rained so much lately. Maybe someday I can get the driveway paved then it wouldn't be an issue.

We haven't had much snow in a few years. It would be nice to get at least a decent snow ever couple of years.

This winter has had rounds of snow, then rounds of rain followed by dry spells.
