It's very unique, i've never seen an entry like that before ^_^ all the entries (including the one that dosne't really fit the catagory) have been really good. this is going to be really hard to judge *nods*

it is very cool. I wonder when Mene will release tatoos? I remember before they changed the stores arround there was a tatoo store, though it didn't have any thing in it yet. Maybe with the new avatar system they'll make some

Yeah, I remember that too..I hope they have some in the future.. but there's not many spots where the tattoo can show up big and stuff... a yumeh tattoo would be funny XD

face, arms, stomach, legs... that would be my guess... similar to how other avatar sites have them *nods* I know i've heard talk that they may be re-vamping the look of the avatars/skin colors and such... so i'm not sure what they are up to, but i know we can expect it to be great. *nods*

I'm not really looking forward to that. Server moving usualy means downtime for the site... and we won't be able to be on. I hope it's not arround the time of any of the upcoming events... because that would be a royal pain in the behind. *nods*

We are into the last few hours here, I wonder if we'll get any more entries before the end. There maybe some one working on a pixel project that's lurking and hasn't posted yet. I havn't asked the other jusges their opinions of the entries yet, but i know what my favorites are *nods*

Thank you! Actually, the dress took the most time (I suck at pixeling clothes that aren't skin-tight, which most aren't. XP), because I had to redo it a few times. I'm still not satisfied with it. (Nor do I especially like the mask.) But, yeah. The hairpin's my favorite.

As far as judging goes, we are looking for things like originality, creativity, how well the item/outfit fits the theme. The style of the pixels dosen't matter ... but we will be looking at how shading and such are used. they should be better than my example set *is not good at shading*

yours is much nicer than mine Word *sighs* I know the lightst yellow really stands out in my dress, and the colors changes go from oen to the next very noticably... so it dosn't look very nice. I'm only working with paint, and i'm not very good at pixeling so *shrugs* it's all for fun though, ya know?

I didn't spend too long on mine, i think it took about an hour to do both avis... and the male one took a little longer... heh as i said, i did it for an example so it's not really good.

hehe. Paint is perfectly fine for pixelling! I don't know why people waste their money on some expensive programme when they have a perfect one infront of them! xD

I know. I never could use photoshop correctly in my Digital Photography class... but i have done some cute things with similar free programs, but I do my best pixel work in pain.

This is one I did with a gaia base a few years ago...


it's an edit to look like Melissa from Parasite eve *did a number of gaia edits to finalfantasy and other squair soft charis* But that was like 4 years ago... I spent a good 2 hours on each one. And i did edits for all my friends that haloween as well *nods* it was so cute. we had an RP Family so we had a haloween party and I made it for every one, I wish I still had it saved some where, oh well.

My uncle got me a tablet for xmas (:shock:); Elements was included with it. (Also, my boyfriend got it last year for Xmas and I borrowed it.) Although I use it for other stuff, I find it easier to find different colors/shades in there than in paint (the gradients).... Tool-shading's a nice shortcut, but it's better to be able to do it manually.

I've never seen/heard of Parasite Eve, but that's an awesome looking edit.
