"We'll sit and talk, nothing else alright... I promise, I'll keep my word to you love." he had softly, nuzzling her hair and breathing in her scent. She should be inside however and laying on the bed, he had no choice but to turn her over to the humans for a short while. That girl Divine had been taking care of her for years, and knew most things about her. Things even he didn't know. So he'd forfeit the right and let them take care of her, but they would still need to talk. "Wait!" he called after the humans.

"There's only Iyz and her husband."Divine turned around at his call, still holding the girl behind her. She was wondering now why he was walking toward them, but then she realized that she still had to take care of Iyz, she needed care and soon, because her system was failing. She tugged on the girl and brought her inside, surveying the small room with a man asleep on the couch, which made her eyebrow raise in curiosity.

Iyzebel sighed and just let herself be carried, there was not much she could do now save for cry, whine and struggle. So it was best to just relax and let everything happen as it would. Else she would be hopelessly gone, swept away with the wind of her emotions. She wanted to apologize to Jaz about her lies, and to Divine for worrying her. She didn't know this hunter but he deserved the same kindness for at least protecting Divine and Jaz. She was so tired it seemed, everything was still a blur.

Tessa shrugged at Hiro's response. Whatever that meant. As long as he wouldn't be sent into some bloodthirsty rampage what was the big deal? Oh, maybe that would happen. In any case, if Kasimir had things for him, whatever they might be, then there were no worries.

Almost trudging through the ash, Tessa held the boy close as to not shake him around too much, as she stared ahead, realizing that Kasimir was still nude. People were giving them strange looks, and she understood. Two vampires, one nudist carrying an injured woman, another with a child, and almost all of them covered in blood. It was a comical thing really, but Tessa didn't find herself laughing. Mizu might be seriously hurt, and this boy she was carrying could prove to be a problem if she didn't think of a way to contain him as soon as they arrived at Kasimir's, if he didn't wake before then. And then of course there was also the chance of the city losing power again before they made it to Kasimir's place leaving them in a really awful spot against the ones who would immediately be scavanging the streets.

She sighed looking down at the boy. She really hoped she was doing the right thing.

Anniebelle continued walking, the figures of the people drawing much closer, which in turn left a thread of unease, she continued on trying to fight the feeling away. Her allergy from the sun had held her back for far to long, it was time she started to live a semi-normal life.

When she finally got into earshot-distance, she raised her gas mask and called a greeting, "Hello."

A sudden, loud snore came from Riku and he snuggled in closer to Tessa, a small smile coming over his face as he slept.

Michael walked out of the warehouse, wiping blood from his blade and a look of disgust on his face as he said, "Traitorous swine." He stepped out of the alleyway, leaving behind the decapitated bodies of the vampires, Brent and Aiden. After receiving a phone call from the two vampires to meet in the darkened warehouse to discuss their plan, Michael had arrived to find that they had changed their minds regarding their partnership and tried to kill him. He instructed them on their foolish mistake.
