And the teachers are now striking. So far, only one is striking. I'm as mad as the teachers are about this....ugh......
And still no bloody resolution to the contract problem....*groan*

The unions at my university have been working without a contract for over a year, and thus no pay. I can understand why that's frustrating, but still, it starts getting a bit too far when you have to deny your students their education.
So far it looks like the only teacher of mine that is striking so far is my sociology teach. That puts me in a good mood.

point 1. Unions are generally way too demanding. point 2. Government entities will screw their employees whenever possible.

The problem is people are greedy, and the more ability they have to make money, the more thye want to keep it.

I'm with Taiyo ^^"
I now have to save any money I make because I know it'll be hard for me to find any work when I finish in December so I can save up more money and not spend any on things I would like because I hopefully start Graduate school in August :(

We actually need to get people spending money again. That's what fixes the economy.

That'll only happen when we can make something called "jobs" again.

The jobs come form people spending money. The ones who have jobs need to go buy some crap, and fix up their houses, and cars and whatever to get the money flowing again. And if someone has a good idea for a business now's the time.

It's just unfortunately, people are so afraid of being broke and poor, they don't spend money on much other than the needed things in the home and to be able to live. That or they just don't have the money for much other than the bills. Like my family for example. My parents are barely living on what they do have because my mom is out of work for a bit longer because of knee surgery and they live on my dad's pay check every week. All of the money goes towards groceries when they have it, and bills. My mom went for public assistance because she is getting nothing from her work because she used up all of her leave this year because of her knee being painful.

I think Americans stopped coming up with good ideas back in the 90s...maybe before.....Hell, they stopped thinking for themselves back then too.
Looks like moving out of the country isn't a bad idea after all.

That is questionable because Europe is going through hard times economically (thanks to Greece and other countries, and the EU didn't really prepare well for things)

Though Asia does seem to be doing good. But who knows how long that'll go.
Then lets not add all of the stuff that you'dhave to go through being an immigrant with permits, and attempt to get a worthwhile job, jne.

Oh! jne is etc

See, the problem is that pretty much every country is screwed up in it's own way. You just have to figure out what works for you.
