It just takes time and practice and unfortunately it can't really be rushed.
and i am in such a rushy mood lately.
My style, for the most part, has changed though.

I can always tell right away that the nose is off. I am just like "NOPE! SHE IS NOT VOLDEMORT!"

I usually focus on how the nose looks crooked so I guess that's why I haven't noticed how Voldemort-y they are. xD;;

I just try to see if my proportions look right.
if the mouth is too low or too high, etc.

Most of the time these days I try to get my eyes to look less like those shoujo-esque giant eyes that take up a large portion of the face. It's harder than I thought. Small eyes are hard.

Saaame but given that I started practicing drawing based off of Yu-Gi-Oh...yeah the eyes are still a problem for me.

which style i like the most/want to try.

Yeah I didn't get into semi-realism until a long time after I started drawing. I think it was because of Oblivion and Skyrim that I wanted to start drawing more realistically.

had very little technology time since my cousin loved watching movies

I don't know how patreons works though I've seen it mentioned around a lot, that and Co-Fi too. PayPal sounds the easiest and most popular way to go. o _o

What kind of test would it be? Is it just to test the speed of your typing?

And it's not super easy if someone scams you through paypal.

Ugh yeah, I think I've read about a few cases of PayPal scams on tumblr, posted by some artists who came across the scams before.

Either way, it's pretty easy to get scammed through paypal which is why
I am not starting commissions.

Patreon you can do monthly awards for those who pay for it.
There is usually different awards though. Like for example, voice over tutorials, PSD files, etc.
so you can do a lot of different things for patreon.
