Cold is better than hot though! I'm dreading summer.

I look forward to summer. I just can't handle cold weather. But then again I am a summer baby.

Just thinking about the heat and humidity makes me feel like I need a shower.

Yeah, extreme temperatures are never fun, but I still prefer the cold to the heat because I can just add more layers if it's cold, but I can't rip my own skin off if it's too hot.

I am. In the Raleigh area. Where you planning to go? :O

Hopefully not too close to the coastline. We got hit by 2 hurricanes recently.

Yes, I know about the hurricanes. My husband's entire family and most of his friends are in the Raleigh region.
We'll be close to that area as well. ^_^

Are the trades down too? I tried to make a trade between myself and my mule account and suddenly I can't find one of my items...

Haha, you lived in Washington? That's where I live right now.
I've lived near Seattle for the past five almost six years, actually.

Got the trades working.

I live just north of Seattle, too.
We were married in Woodinville over the summer at one of the wineries. It was super low-key but super romantic. It was such a great day. My wedding was absolutely everything that I wanted it to be.

I know where you're referring to.
A good friend of mine was married there... she's also divorced now.

Well that explains a lot

Certainly a beautiful park though, I grew up within walking distance of it so I went there all the time.
Sadly the path there I had seen needles and the like on the ground in some areas :(

It's improving somewhat. Seattle and the surrounding areas have implemented safe injection sites and needle disposal canisters. It's helping protect everyone, really. We definitely do have an opioides epidemic in this country. :(

Oh that's good.
Oh yes we most definitely do. It gets a LOT worse if you are in the medical field. You see so much addiction. And most of it is unintended.

Hey, so hows all that snow?
My family spammed me with photos of the storm.

Haha, I also spammed my family and friends with photos of all the snow.
It's great, I'm so thrilled. I LOVE snow and cold and ice and dark.

Forecast said it could snow but I didn't believe, I just assumed it would immediately change to predictions of rain. My husband woke me up this morning and I was like a little kid. I immediately ran outside and played with the dog. She got cold quicker than I did so then I spent like...three hours shoveling our driveway and then our neighbor's driveways...which, is weird but I was just so pumped to have snow.

There's more snow being predicted in the next five days. I'm not convinced but husband is worried enough that we're gonna make a run to costco and stock up on some essentials.

Just beware of like minded shoppers :)
I've not heard any updates on the weather. All my parents sent me was a meme about 2 feet (made) of snow

We got hit again yesterday through last night with more snow. It's a pretty significant amount for this area. Not as much as my childhood home but still. My puppy doesn't know what to think of it.

My parents sent me a picture of about a foot and a half of snow.

Childhood home? You from one of the colder states?

I grew up in Maine. But a HUGE portion of my family is in Washington. My dad grew up here. I spent a part of my childhood living on the Kitsap Peninsula. Now I live north-east of Seattle.
