Ooo. I have to make some pastillage later this week, I might have to see if I can manage to make a skull out of it when I'm done using it for the centerpiece I'm working on!

Aww, Shadami: I don't feel like I should accept that for the contest just because it'd be opening a can of worms re: people having other folks help them with their entries. But that's so cute. Please tell your daughter she made a beautiful pumpkin and I will turn the reserve post into a "just for fun" gallery and put it in there, ok? <3

You should post yours! And, for me at least pumpkin carving is hard! I get impatient so fast so.... It's a miracle if any of mine come out the way I want them too.

Also, I was watching Nightmare Before Christmas for extra fun while carving!

Oh my god, pumpkin carving is so hard! It was the first time I have ever done it and I had no idea the flesh/skin would be so thick! And all the stuff inside is such a pain to remove! Haha, it's so easy to be impatient. At first I was being so careful but then end I was like I WANT THIS OVER WITH!
I made a stencil from a picture so I kind of feel like I cheated :p I can't believe you did yours free hand, it looks so amazing! It would have been so hard to do due to the curvature of the pumpkin.
OK, so i havent found any of the extra pieces I needed to make my awesome idea... and by found I mean I've been too lazy, but I'm hoping that tomorrow I can get it all finished. Loving some of the ones posted so far!
For Digital entries do I need to take a picture of monitor to prove I did it? I shouldn't have to I signed my signature like I do in all my art in the bottom right. You can see when I signed my name on my computer for my pumpkin carving. But if you need a photo I took pictures just in case. And even made a separate save with my signed PrincessKasumi name in the digital picture.

Mermaid Inspired. More specifically h20 just add water and mako mermaids from netflix. Did my best to make a realistic digital pumpkin, hence the attempt at the glow of the mermaid and writing carved into my painted pumpkin!
