"No, I don't think you would have," Ed answered, "I left home when I was 12 but the camp I was at kicked me out because I was a girl."

"T-that's not fair!" Ci exclaimed. 'It must be really different up North...' he thought. In the East girl's are just as mean-err...tough as the guys...Though, I suppose different places are mean about different things...' He spent several moments going through a thought circle.

((I hope he's coming out beyond innocent xD Like sickeningly naive and I-Wann-give-this-guy-a-noogie-he's-so-dang-cute-but-pathetic!!! lol))

Ed stared at him, "It's not like that in your village?" She asked, honestly surprised. All her life woman had less to no rights at all, that's why she hid herself as a girl to continue her training.

"Yah thats it.... sorry dont know much about this school. I uhh have never heard of it until about a month ago." She smiled at her and then climbed back into the tree.

Ci shook his head. "In the East we all get our own share of the work depending our own individual abilities. The Elders don't have as much to do though," he added at the end. Was what he said strange?

((It's 9:45, your classes are in 15 minutes, off you go!))

Raylen sort of laughed in spite of herself, "It's ok." She said, "A lot of people don't know about the school. She looked around at the sun. "It must be almost class, we'd better be going" She said.

Ed stared in total shock or amazement, she didn't know which. She would have totally wanted to live in the east village if she had a choice. "Well, you don't sound like that's a good thing," She said, not exactly knowing how to react. "Class is starting." She added, emotionless, and strode quickly off out of the pass.

Ci bit his lip and stood to return to the Academy. He hadn't meant to sound ungrateful...He just had always been the exception to the happy lifestyle of the East.

He hurried to the boy's dorm and grabbed his book bag for rushing to class L-2

Raylen walked over to L2, she had already packed her books and was completely prepared for the first class. Music. Raylen had a great loving for music played on an instrument, but she could not sing. When she was little, people told her she had a great voice. They were probably right, and she was most likely a good singer, she just didn't want to. Taking her seat in the middle of the classroom, Raylen got out Alice in Wonderland and began to read as others shyly came into the classroom for the first day.

Ed never really had a think for any type of music, it was a complete waste of time to create something with a piece of wood ((referring to a flute)). Taking a seat in her classroom, she started fiddling with her long, white hair.

Ci scampered into class L-2. First was music...He was unsure about how to react...He wasn't a great music maker but he loved to listen to it.

He took a seat in the back corner that way he'd be protected from behind and on his left side.

Ci glanced around nervously while waiting for the class to start.

Effy ran to the classroom and made it just in time for class. She did not know anyone in her class but she would have to live. She looked around and their were tons of vampires. She hated vampires. They were the ones who killed her family so of course she had a grudge.

Raylen looked up from her book to see a Nymph make his way to the back corner of the class. He looked very nervous and jittery, like he had just been through an earthquake. Ignoring the obviously uncomfortable Nymph, Raylen returned to her book.

She looked over to the person next to her. And what do you know it was a vampire how great was that. She just looked at the person of the other side of her and it was just a reagular farie. Yes, she loved faires.

Ci couldn't help but fidget. When would the teacher get there?

Class had started. Raylen put her book away and counted all the empty seats. A couple of people were missing today...Oh well, It was probably a good idea to anyway. The teacher first started with introducing them to the notes.

Music class could have bored Ed to sleep. The only think keeping her awake was was the constant tapping sound her desk neighbor kept making with a pencil.

Effy was so excited to learn about math in a different language. They called it English. She knew that she spoke it every day but she never knew what its was called. They started class learning about fractions and uhhh what was it oh yah decimals. She was not confused a bit because she had already learned all of it in her own language. She looked at the class and then at her notes. They were full of words but no color soooo she got out her colorful pens and wrote over her writing in different colors.

Ci tried his best to pay attention to the teacher but he didn't really care about notes...he just didn't. All that mattered back in the village was the sound. The nymphs of the East scoffed at such things and taught through apprenticeship. Music was taught by mouth, not scores.

He looked around the room with timid eyes, glancing passed the backs of the other students heads and observing the walls and the posters that covered them.

mika rushed to L2 and made it after the bell.she said to the teacher sorry,then she rushed to a seat next to raylen.

Faye burst in through one of the (luckily) open windows and shouted out, "I"M HERE! I'm late!" She'd been flying around outside for the past few hours and had simply lost track of time, plus, she'd gotten caught in an updraft of wind which has blown her quite a few miles away. Faye flew over to an empty seat next to Raylen and retracted her wings when she was a few inches above her chair, landing with a thump on her seat. She flashed the the teacher an angelic smile then looked around curiously at the classroom.

Aiden walked grudgingly to his first class of the day and into the fairly small class. He went to sit in the only open seat left next to some elf girl and leaned back in his chair, folding this arms over his chest. This was sure to be boring to him. Tch. Music class...?He thought to himself and had to refrain from rolling his eyes. Of course, being a vampire, Aiden had had hundreds of years to master nearly every musical instrument there was and therefore considered it pointless and a waste of time to sit through a class that could teach him nothing. He closed his eyes and sighed deeply, nearly falling asleep. Not that it would matter anyway, if he did, since Aiden highly doubted that the teacher would be able to teach him something about music that he didn't already know.

The teacher trying demonstrate the different materials one could use to make their own instrument and how that material would effect the sound it would make. Ci listened with a small bit of interest and took mental notes of each result.

Ci managed not to jump when the faerie--Faye, he remembered--burst in late. The teacher continued from where they left off. The room seemed to get warmer and Ci shifted uncomfortable. He hated when it got hot inside, outside too but inside was much worse!
A stray strand of hair had escaped from his ponytail and tickled his collarbone until he forced it behind his ear.

Nerves growing a tad, he felt his fingers twitch and he snatched a pen from his bag as quietly as he could and started doodling random shapes and patterns on the paper in front of him

Faye listened, only half listening, really. You could almost say that what she heard was coming in one ear and going out the other. She stared out the window, just aching to be outside, flying...spinning the air and going up up up into the clouds......She was interrupted from her daydreaming though by the sounds of the scritch scratch -ing sound of a pencil on paper. Wait. Had the teacher told them to take notes or something? Faye sat up straighter to looks as though she were paying attention, then inconspicuously looked around the room. No one was taking notes--actually, it looked like no one was really paying attention at all. She looked next to her and realized the pencil sounds were coming from Ci. Wow, does the guy have any idea how loud he is? Faye reached down to her bag and ripped off a piece of paper. She grabbed her Sky Blue glitter pen and wrote in her surprisingly neat handwriting:

Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii~!
Having fun doodling over there?

Faye then folded up the paper into a tiny ball and flicked it onto Ci's desk with pinpoint accuracy.

Ci was startled when the ball of paper landed on his desk. Confused he picked it up. Why would someone through paper at him? Was he in trouble for drawing? He looked around and say Faye looking at him with a smile. He was so confused...It was paper...Why throw paper? He nudged it off his desk with the butt end of his pen and folded his hands on the desk looking chastised.

((Nymphs in Ci's home don't bother with paper messages, they just shout it across the room or through the water :D Poor clueless thing...))

Faye almost giggled out loud. Had Ci never seen a piece of paper before? Oh well, she wasn't a nymph so she wouldn't know. Bored and deciding that it was time for a little fun, Faye reached her hand into her satchel, taking out a handful of dirt, which she threw across the ground when the teacher's back was turned. She inconspicuously took her hand out, pretending to wave away a bug, but was actually controlling some plants to grow from the dirt. Suddenly, the entire classroom floor sprouted up in grass and huge dandelions, which would no doubt cause some very confused classmates and teachers. Faye smiled and hid her laugh behind her hand.

Ci's eyes widened as grass and dandelions burst up from the floor. 'D-did that paper do that? Or was it the faerie?' he wondered nervously. He hoped it was the faerie and not the paper, he did throw the paper and if it was the cause someone would undoubtebly find out it was him. Seeing the faerie girl laughing behind her hand he was very much sure it was her and not the paper. Sh e seemed not to mind getting in trouble at all!

Ci somewhat envied her daring.
