It didn't take long for two guards to bring Lea in. She was alert and unharmed, and looked simultaneously pissed off and relieved to see Amy.

"So, they grabbed you too, huh?"

"I might have... walked into it, actually," Amy said, making a cautiously wry face. "Possibly with the reluctant help of a certain deity."

Lea hung her head for a moment. "Oh, Amy..."

"Are you both satisfied now?" the man asked mildly, looking between the two.

"I had to find you and make sure you were okay," Amy said, going over to hug her sister and ignoring the man entirely. "I came back from my trip and it was like the world ended while I was gone."

"Almost," Lea said, returning the hug. "There's been a lot going on." She pulled back after a few long moments. "Although this place isn't nearly as bad as it could be."

"They know what they're doing though," Amy said softly. "This place feels like a dead zone. I can't sense anyone at all."

"That's what we were aiming for," the man said, looking at them both. "No technology for you to get your hands on, either."

Lea made a bit of a face at that, because she had noticed that already.

Amy made a face as well.

"I'm sure we'll figure something out," she murmured in her sister's ear. She didn't dare mention the tracking magic Loki put on her, not yet. She didn't know what the scientists might be prepared for.

Lea just nodded before the two guards moved forward again to pull them apart.

"You've seen each other. Return her to her room." The guards escorted Lea out, and she glanced back at Amy one last time before the door shut.

Amy watched the scientist carefully.

"Now what do you want with us?" she asked.

"Just the version of Extremis you carry," the man said. "That's all. We have most of the research, but we're missing a few key things."

"Our blood won't help you," Amy said quietly as she sat down again. "Our Extremis are unique to us. They won't work for anyone else."

"We know that. But the key to unlocking a complete, functional virus is in your code," the man said, pulling out a syringe.
