Sam immediately ducked out of the way so Dean had a clear shot. The girl disappeared, though, still giggling.

"Come and find me!"

Runa watched what as going on, shotgun ready. Something didn't seem quite right.

"She's not violent," she said after a second. "She's not trying to hurt anyone, she's playing." She glanced around warily. "Which means--" Then she was flung against a wall, and a an angry teenage boy appeared.

"Stay away from my sister," he growled.

"Well damn." Kyra got off a shot at him. "Well, looks like you were right." She moved back over to where Runa was, covering both of them and giving Runa time to recover and get up again. "Now I say we go to the cemetery and burn some bones."

Dean looked over when he heard a shotgun blast that hadn't come from him or Sam. Which meant someone else was around. He got up and glanced over at Sam, raising an eyebrow. Go find out now or wait until after the ghost was crisped?

Runa got to her feet, muttering a string of profanity and blasphemy that ended with "fucking jesus on a pogo stick..."

"Come on," she said, "let's go. I'm so done with ghosts tonight."

Sam nodded, heading to find out who else was there. He walked into the room with the girls just as Runa was dusting herself off.

Kyra looked at him for a moment before she swore almost as inventively as Runa. "Just our luck," she muttered. She didn't get a chance to swear any further, though, because the ghost chose that moment to throw her across the room.

Dean was quick to join Sam, trying to shoot the ghost before he could throw anyone else around.

"Damn it all," Runa growled, taking off into the next room. "Elijah Pasco, you get back here!" As soon as she had the ghost in her sights, she took the shot, blasting it with rock salt. She jogged back into the other room. "Kyra, you alright?"

"Yeah, I'm fine." Kyra got to her feet with a little grimace, rolling some soreness out of her neck. "I think we need to go, though."

"Wait a second," Dean said, looking between the two. "You're Hunters?" Because they sure looked like Hunters. But Bobby didn't know any Hunters out in this area.

"Yeah," Runa replied warily. "What of it?"

"Nothing," Sam replied, "we just didn't know there were any hunters out here."

"Well we are," Kyra said, moving over by Runa. "We've got this handled." All they had to do was get out and go burn the bones and no more problem.

"Come on," Runa said to Kyra, "let's go finish this up so I can get some sleep tonight." She glanced at the brothers. "We already know which set of bones to salt and burn, so we've got it covered."

"Mind if we come along anyways?" Sam asked. "No harm in having backup and all." He glanced between them and his brother.

"We don't really work well with backup." Normally Kyra would have been more polite, but this was the Winchesters, they had a track record to make anyone scared.

"Too bad," Dean said, motioning for Sam to head out. "We could just follow you there, so you might as well say yes." Which, in retrospect, was a little odd for him to be saying, all things considered.

Runa snorted softly. Ahhh, irony, she loved it. Shrugging, she headed back out to the car so they could head for the cemetery.

Sam went out to the Impala, checking their weapons and then getting in.

Kyra grumbled a bit back to the car but settled in quietly, just checking her weapons and making sure that she had lighter fluid and all that.

"Well, that went better than expected," Dean said as he got in. Last time they'd teamed up with anyone besides Bobby, it hadn't ended well.

"No kidding," Sam replied. "It's weird, Bobby didn't mention any other hunters around here. Wonder if he even knew about them."

"Maybe not." Dean snorted suddenly. "Proof that Bobby isn't infallible." He grinned as he started the car and headed after the girls.

Sam snorted as well.

By the time they got there, the girls had already found the appropriate grave and begun to dig.

"Somehow it feels wrong to be salting and burning a grave that had historical significance in our own town," Runa commented.

"Well, it's either burn dem bones or become historically significant to the town for being killed by the ghost," Kyra said, shoveling dirt out of the way.

"Well, this is a change," Dean said, eyeing the view as the girls worked. And man, what a view.

"True," Runa replied. She glanced at the Winchesters before going back to digging. "We're getting leered at."

Sam nudged his brother.

"Aren't you going to offer to help?" he asked, giving Dean a bit of a Look. He already had a shovel in his hand.

"Do you really expect anything else with Dean Winchester standing there?" Kyra asked softly. "The guy who's slept with as many women as they've killed monsters? If not more?"

Dean huffed but got his own shovel. "Bitch," he muttered to Sam before moving over to the grave. "We can do that," he offered.

"Jerk," Sam muttered back, grinning a bit. He followed Dean over to where the girls were digging.

Runa looked at them.

"I guess if you want to," she said. Hell, as long as the job got done, she didn't care who did the manual labor.

Kyra climbed out of the pit without a word, stretching briefly and moving so the guys could get to work instead.

Dean started shoveling, though he did sneak occasional looks at the girls. Hey, he was allowed to look.

Runa noticed the peeks and rolled her eyes. Yeah, she'd heard about Dean Winchester and his infamous womanizing. Although, to be fair, the rumors about it had died down quite a bit recently for some reason.

Sam climbed back out of the hole once they'd uncovered the bones.

"I'm assuming you two have your own hunting kit?" he asked.

"Of course." Kyra picked up the canister of salt and her thing of lighter fluid, waiting for Dean to bail out too before she salted the bones liberally, letting Runa do the honors with the matches.

Sam nodded and stepped aside so they could light the corpse up.

Runa pulled out a box of matches and, once the bones were covered in salt and lighter fluid, she lit a match and dropped it in.

"And that's that," she said, putting the rest of the matches away.

"That better be that," Kyra muttered. She looked at the boys, looking up at Sam. "Well, thanks for digging out the grave for us."

"No problem," Sam said. He looked at them. "Kinda surprised to find hunters out here. A friend of ours usually knows where most of the community is, he didn't say anything about anyone being out this way."

"We generally like to keep ourselves under the radar," Runa replied, trying to brush grave dirt off of her jeans. "Keep our heads down and all that."
