Edward stepped inside the room and looked around.
"You can relax...it's just us..." He moved on in so that Shiba could enter, and leaned against the wall nearest the door....normally he'd be raring to pick a fight just to pester the Colonel..but these days..it seemed tension got the better of him..he decided to just leave him be for the moment.

"What brings you two to my humble office?" He said with a groggy voice, sniffing.
Armstrong stepped inside and saluted him.
"At ease; you may exit."
"hanks sir." He left, closing the door behind him.
"I assume youre here to see Kiri?"

Well it certainly wasn't a coridal visit to see HIM.
"Of course, gotta make sure that you're feeding the water bug."

I nudged Edward in the ribs hard and looked into his eyes angrily.
"What did I TELL you time and time again about that name!?" I huffed, storming up to Mustang.
"Enough with the wise cracks, let us see her."
He nodded and stood up.
"Come on then." He walked to the bookshelf and pulled the book, opening the secret door again. Instead of going down the steps of the basement, we turned left and went UP a flight of steps. They were dimly lit. I followed close behind Mustang.

"Hgh, OW!" Edward rubbed his ribs where Shiba's elbow had crashed into them...HARD.
"Just making small talk." He muttered a bit to himself, but then followed behind Shiba and Mustang..these secret staircases were getting to be FREAKY.

Finally reaching the top of the staircase, The first cell to the right is where Kiri was. The cell was furnished; soft bed, even a window with bars over them. Toilet was there as well, but no water inside...
"Here we are." Roy said triumphantly, coughing.
I looked into the cell.
"Kiri?"

"..Ane?" Came the small voice after a moment.
Kiri peeked over the back side of the bed, where she'd been laying in the floor.
"...You came.." There was more relief than anything in the words as she crawled over the sheets to move to the bars, she was still a little pale, but the worst of the pain had passed..still she clutched her hand behind her back determined not to let Shiba see.
Edward smiled seeing the blonde head again, and knelt by the cell.
"Hey. How're they treating you here in prison?" He asked lightly.
"...as well as can be expected.." She glared up at Mustang, but turned back just as quick.

Roy went into a coughing fit and walked down the hallway to take a seat.
I looked into her frightened eyes.
"Kiri, how are you?" I put my hand though the bar to touch her shoulder.
"Youre cold; you should have your blankets on you..." I said softly, looking into her eyes sadly.
"It will be over soon... then you can be free with us." I said hopefully.

She tried to smile she really did.
"I'm fine Ane...really. Cold....never bothered me remember?" She nodded.
"I know..I know..." She rubbed her fingers over her palm behind her back and winced a little but covered it up with a wink.
"I look forward to getting out of here." She looked around the cold dead cell.
"I REALLY look forward to getting out of here."

I looked into her eyes, trying to smile at her.
"I know... I just worry about you, thats all.." I noticed her hands behinf her back and cocked my head to the side.
"you okay?" I said, lifting a suspicious brow.
"I am suprized Mustang kept his word... this cell is aot nicer than the cold basement one..." I said looking around it.

She nodded a little quicker than what she should have.
"I'm fine!" She smiled and let her arms fall to her sides.
"See?" Edward glanced over at Shiba and cocked an eyebrow.
"If you say so Sprite."
"Yeah..it is..I think.." She looked around for a moment.
"That...that's still kind of a blur to me...I don't remember much about coming back."

I was brought back by her enthusiasm... and I sighed, closing my eyes half way.
"Are you in any pain..?" I said, reaching in and taking her hand in mine, my other hand stroking the top of her hand.
"I look forward to bringing you home... so i know youre not hurting and you are safe..." I said, closing my eyes.
