Our Story So Far...

In a land different from when they were used to, our heroes find their lives taking place in the wonderful world of Pokemon. No longer beings of other planets or species, they find themselves all human with a wondrous (or not so much) team of Pokemon of their choosing.

Each of our heroes has chosen to pave their own path, with friends of course. While some pursue the power and title of champion or keeper of all 8 gym badges, others find their solace in other ways.

Our heroes now find themselves at the Resort Area in Sinnoh. Neither group originally from the area, our ladies of Kanto have made their way over either through whims of a friend or through celebration and determination for more titles. Our heroes from Unova coming in celebration of title or to start over in a new region.

What will our heroes face in a world (possibly) more peaceful than these characters have been put in, in the past?!

The sun was shining high and bright over the resort area as the trio disembarked from the boat. A brunette, shorter than the other two women with her, rose a hand to shield her eyes from the glaring sun. Tucked safely in one arm, a small Cubone also rose its arm over its head, shielding its own eyes.

"Remind me again why we're here and not training for the next gym?" The woman grumbled as she shifted her back pack to rest more evenly on single shoulder the straps were slung over.

The white haired woman beside her was beaming, a huge grin across her face as she stretched her arms into the air. "Oh come on Eleanor," the woman teased happily. "We needed a break, you've been going from gym to gym that I'm surprised you're not burned out yet."

Behind the woman, a small blue and white bear waddled, pulling a blue bag along as a long string of snot dangled carelessly in the air. Pausing, the woman turned to look at the creature struggling with the bag. "Awww, Cubchoo, let Momma get that for you," she said as she reached down, putting her bag on over both shoulders and scooping the bear into her arms like a baby.

"Cubchoo thinks you need a break too, don't you," Nyx said as she rubbed her nose against his wet one. The bear smiled happily replying with a pleased, "Chooooo."

"It's always good to take a break, Eleanor," a third voice came; the tallest yet youngest of the group had blonde hair and blue eyes. "Audino has been worried about you lately too." Unlike the others, this one didn't have any Pokemon out beside her.

Rolling her eyes, Eleanor's arm returned to her side as her olive orbs adjusted to the sunlight. "It's just going to put us behind schedule."

Nyx bumped into the woman, wrapping an arm around her shoulder, pulling the woman near. As she did this, the Cubone in the other's arms pulled out it's bone club and reached it across to poke the snot fall from the other Pokemon's nose. Cubchoo on the other hand, was confused by the object and grabbed it pulling it from the hands of the other with near ease.

Cubone, upset by this matter, tried to pull itself from Eleanor's grip to get it back but when the woman's grip tightened the creature began to cry, pulling its trainer's attention from the conversation it was having.

"Keep Booger Bear in line, would you?" She scolded as she pulled the club from the Pokemon's paws, giving it back to Cubone.

"Awww, but they're such good friends, like us!" The other chimed as she hugged the bear close.

The women separated as they got off the docks. The tropical coastal resort area was definitely built for the tourists. There were tall palm trees as well as broad leafed bushes everywhere to build on the tropical, relaxation the place was supposed to bring. There was a white sanded beach off to one side, places to eat and shop as well. Further back, but definitely the center of the area was a large, white and gold resort building that was definitely far fancier and out of place considered everything they had seen back in Kanto.

"Wow," Nyx said, stalling as they neared the fountain in the center of the resort town.

Noah let out a content sigh as she propped her hands on her hips. "This break is definitely well deserved."

Ignoring the two, Eleanor continued up the smooth stone path up to the resort. They had weekend reservations there and as much as she didn't want to be there, she would rather check in and get it all over with. All around her, people and Pokemon were overly joyous and bubbly, enjoying their time off from whatever they had been doing.

"Such a waste of time," the woman muttered as a resort staff member opened the gold trimmed glass doors open for her. Walking up to the counter, she was greeted by a woman who was obviously paid to be as cheerful as she was. She gave the woman her name and as she was looking it up, the other two joined her.

"Geez Eleanor, you didn't have to run away," Nyx said, out of breath, the Cubchoo also breathing hard like his trainer, though it hadn't been running at all.

"You said you wanted to start your vacation, figured I would help with that," she said as she took the documents from the woman to finalize their check in. Pen in hand, she skimmed down the document, the instrument pausing over the price. "Alright you two, get your share of the payment out." She pulled her own card case out; 5 badges shone proudly at her as she retrieved her ID card, in digital numbers it displayed the amount of money she currently had on hand.

Eleanor heard her ever talkative companion sigh. "You and Noah have so much money compared to me, it's not fair," she moaned.

Noah giggled behind her before Eleanor spoke up, knowing the woman wasn't going to have the most polite response to that. "You're the one that decided to stop doing gym battles." Though, not doing gym battles probably saved the woman money seeing as she wasn't all that good at them to begin with.

The look of sheer horror on Nyx's face made the blonde laugh even more. "I didn't just stop, how dare you suggest I take my team to fight that horrible grass woman. What kind of monster do you take me for?!"

Wiping the tears from the corners of her eyes, Noah took Nyx's ID card with her own and passed them to Eleanor. "Yes, yes, I'm sorry Nyx. How dare I suggest you put them in harms way."

After their check in was processed, Eleanor was going to hand the other two women their cards back when Nyx's eyes widened. "Oh gosh, wait, have to potty," she said quickly before shoving Cubchoo into Noah's arms and darting off towards the public restroom.

"She really doesn't think things through, does she," Eleanor said shaking her head as she handed Noah her card back and made her way towards the leather furniture that was set up in the lobby.

Noah smiled softly as she shifted the bear over so she could put her card away as she followed the woman. "She just gets excited, it's what's nice about her."

Stretching out her arms, the blonde in the black bikini shifted on her lounge chair. How long had she been in this sun? Based on the tan she was starting to develop, not long enough. The sun felt amazing on her skin and caused a smile to crawl upon her face.

Pulling down the sunglasses that veiled her shimmering blue orbs, her attention panned over to a commotion a group a few chairs down from her. They appeared to be together--5 men with exotic hair colors. Two were in the water, one was sitting on the edge, and the other two were complaining about being wet. The one in the water with the acid-green hair was laughing so hard he was practically choking; he was also struggling to stay afloat but the main with the Caribean hair on the pool's lip was keeping a tender eye on him. The cheeky boy with the fiery red hair (also in the water) was also laughing, though from the look on his face, he looked to be ashamed of something. A small shift of the orbs and she could watch the faces of the two sitting away from the pool. The tall one with grizzled teal hair wore a frown for the crotch air of his pants was amply wet. He looked as if he had peed himself. The other one--this one had normal hair, a brunette--seemed peeved. His lips were pulled back in a snarl. He was most displeased that he was wet because, 'his suntan lotion hadn't dried long enough yet.'

Smirking, she kept her sapphire gaze just above the rims of her shades to continue stalking them.

"Just ignore them," the voice caused her to flinch and the tan she had melted away into a now snowy white color. Nair standing on end, she tore her gaze off the handsome group and found herself examining her new neighbor.

Lips pursed, her cheeks flushed a brilliant raspberry color. If she thought the other five were hot, then this man was beyond sexy. His attire, though not as revealing as she wanted, showed off every toned muscle beneath that black spandex top. Sadly, his swim shorts were more cargo-style than speedo so she would have no luxury in getting a view of his package.

Not wanting to admit her staring, she jerked her eyes up to met the gaze that stopped her heart for a few good seconds. Her throat became dry as her heart now thundered within her chest.

"Dear lord," she whispered to herself, "he's hot."

Gulping, she forced herself to calm down. There was no need to get excited. He wasn't that...

Oh yes he was. She was already dreaming of marrying him. He would look absolutely breathtaking in a tux.

Tongue flicking over her teeth, she leaned in closer. "But they're so entertaining," she chirped. As she did, she drank in ever second to stare into that crimson gaze of his. The way his hair accented his face, and that coy smile, ugh, she couldn't get enough of him.

"That they are," he quipped before knocking the sunglasses down over his red, pupil-less orbs. When he did this, she frowned for a moment, but realized something. He hadn't run away. He was still here and she could still get her flirt on.

"So what brings a bunch of studs like yourself here?" Propping her chin on her palm, she used her free hand to pull her shades up onto her head.

"Change of scene." He wasn't one to offer up too much information, or so it seemed.

"Same," she admitted. That's when she took the initiative. Leaning forward, she stretched out her hand. "I'm Aleu," she purred with a smile.

He seemed a bit taken back by the gesture, but complied nonetheless. When their hands met, Aleu felt a spark within her heart.

"Rroy." His voice seemed... amused.

"Well, Rroy," her lips twisted into a flirty smile, "I hope we'll get to spend more time together." And with that, she rolled back into her chair to admire the view. Granted, unlike everyone else who wanted to soak up the sun, the man she was so fascinated with seemed to seek out the shade. It was a good thing too. Did he not realize wearing black was stupid in the summer? Granted, who was she to talk. Nestled around her hips and around her chest, was black fabric.

Two slender woman lay out by the large, glistening pool near the resort itself. All around them trainers and their Pokemon were either sunbathing, swimming or just playing around. A pair of vibrant orbs scanned over the people before her and though it appeared the the dark haired woman was watching everyone before her, she didn't see them nor them men on the other side of the pool that were waving at her. Rather, she saw the images move at a quick speed as the one her sight was through ran through the crowds before slowing suddenly. Leaning down, the keeper of her sight scooped up a dark colored, four legged Pokemon before turning to return to its owner.

Within a few moments, Kyna Riddle, the Champion for Kanto, was looking at herself. Lucario sighed beside her, the Deino he had chased down gnawing on his arm before he returned it to its trainer's lap. I do wish you wouldn't let her run freely in crowded areas. She's been going after the Gligar on the other side of the pool. The creature sighed again. For someone with no sight, she seems to somehow be locked onto that one. Shaking his head, Lucario recalled having recently chased the creature down from its pursuit of the flying creature. Deino definitely seemed to want that one for some reason.

A small smiled played on the woman's lips as she ran her hand over the top of the creature that now weighed down her abdomen. After a couple of strokes, Deino caught on to the pattern and immediately bit down on the woman's hand before she could pet it again. "She has to learn Lucario," she told the creature, her voice soft yet still stern. She didn't fight her hand from the beast as it seemed to catch on that it was not food, but its trainer it had and just proceeded to drool all over the woman rather than releasing her. "Soon enough she will overcome her handicap and all will learn that blindness is not something to hold against a person."

There was another audible sigh from Lucario as Kyna then saw the kiddy pool. And please control your friend, Trevenant is scaring the children. The short tree had made its way to the kiddy pool, one of the few areas that was shallow enough for the creature. Its roots were twisting, turning and dancing in the water; for as frightening as the nearly five foot tall tree usually looked, it looked happy, which was also kind of scary. It was true though; the human children were avoiding the kiddy pool for the most part. There were some that seemed to joyously be playing with Trevenant, even some Pokemon were playing with it. The others though, they avoided the pool and some children were crying.

Kyna hummed to herself for a little while before saying, "Fay, Lucario thinks you should bring Trevenant back. It's scaring the children."

The white haired woman beside her never pulled her eyes from her Pokemon as she said, "But the children seem to be enjoying him just fine." Her voice was soft, song-like even; she was the type that if you weren't paying attention you wouldn't hear her, but if you heard her voice, its beauty captivated you. Unfortunately, even with a beautiful voice, slim body and silky white locks, the woman was odd to say in the least.

Even without having to pull her fiery orbs from the animated tree, the woman could feel the disapproving look Lucario was giving her. With a sigh she said, "Very well, but you will deal with Trevenant if he's in a bad mood for this." She then held a hand out towards the creature's back, whom seemed to immediately pick up on the call and placed the Pokemon and children that had climbed on it back into the water. The tree then moved towards its trainer, watching her expectantly with its single orb.

"Please stay near me, my dear," she said as she turned her head towards the sunlight, if you could call it that. Faylinn's bed was beneath the shade of a tree so any light that would have gotten to her, didn't. The Trevenant made a noise similar to a tree moaning in the wind before moving towards the sunlight in between the two trainers. Curling and uncurling the roots, the creature made itself comfortable in the light before closing its eye.

"Are you pleased now, Lucario?" Kyna asked, though from the way kids were flocking to the pool now, both knew that a response wasn't needed. "I do wish you would relax as well. After all, without you, we never would have defeated the last Champion."

Lucario sighed, pulling a free chair up next to the woman. I must be ready to protect you and those important to you, he said to her, his voice soft and almost tired. Closing her red orbs, Kyna replied with a smile, "We are on vacation, try to have a little fun."

Paying little to no attention to his partner, Gligar, the male with the green hair continued to splash water at his friends. "Awww," his lip quivered but the look in his eyes was one of torment and torture, "did Fritzy-poo wet himself?" His lips flashed a very handsome grin.

"No," Fritz, the tall one with the teal hair, sighed. "You know you two did this."

The male with the red-orange hair gasped. "Did you just," his hand laid across his chest, "accuse me of making you pee yourself?" Chewing his lip, he giggled, "Why I didn't know I could make you wet, Fritz."

The look on Fritz face said it all--he was done with this. Rolling his eyes, he pulled from his chair. "I'm going to change," he stated.

The brunette on the chair beside him sprung up too. "Yo, wait for me. I'm gonna join you. I said I didn't want to swim but if these knuckleheads keep this up, I'm going to need to be in swim trunks." Stepping up beside Fritz, the brunette growled down at the duo in the water. "I'll be back. And with a vengeance," he promised.

"Nieko,"
Fritz turned his gaze to the brunette, "don't tease them. You know it'll make things worse for us." Just before stepping away, Fritz lazily let his hands fall to a Pokeball. Plucking it from his hip, he called out one Pokemon--Sylveon. "Babysit them with Varun. We both know he'll need the extra set of eyes."

With his master preoccupied, Gligar had wandered off after the Deino that kept trying to chomp at his cute little ears. Waddling his way down the edge of the pool, he stopped when he realized he couldn't get to Deino this way. Thankfully, being a Flying-type, he could take to the air. And he did just that.

In moments, he fluttered down beside the blind Pokemon. "Gligar," he announced with a puffed out chest. "Gligar, Gligar." The way those last two words rolled off his tongue sounded a bit sexual. Was he... flirting? With... Deino?

Meanwhile, back in the pool, Totodile decided it was high-time he put Arvin and Melik in their place. Splashing them with a ceaseless stream of water, the two eventually crawled from the water and flopped lazily onto the deck.

"You win," Arvin admitted while still trying to breathe, "you're the Splash Master."

As his eyes panned around the pool in search of Gligar, a fat-faced Mudkip hopped into view. Chin on the deck, he pouted. "Mudkip, move. I can't see over you when yo--Mudkid... Mud... oh n--"

Before he could squirm away, Mudkip was dumping his lunch on Arvin's face. Completely unphased by it, Mudkip went back to hopping around the pool eating everything in sight. Arvin, on the other hand, just laid there.

"Melik,"
he tried not to move his lips too much, "I hate your Mudkip."

"Awww, why? Barfing up lunch is a sign of love. He just wants to make sure you're well-fed."

Grumbling as they moved throughout the hotel, Nieko was completely unaware that someone decided it was time to leave their Pokeball. A plump little Natu nested itself on Nieko's head with a lot of help from Fritz for the little ball of cuteness hadn't learned to fly (it didn't know it never would). As the duo made their way down the hall and into the lobby (the elevator by the pool was broken hence needing to go to the lobby), Fritz paused to read a sign.

"Nieko," he called to the brunette that seemed to be fuming more than listening. "Nieko," he said flatly.

"What,"
he whirled around, which sent the Natu flying. Thankfully, he had ninja-like reflexes and caught the little ball of bird before it collided with the floor. "Natu?" He blinked. "When did I let you out?" Rubbing Nieko's face, Natu hopped happily in the man's hands. "Yes, yes, you're a cutie," he added before looking over at Fritz. "What's up?"

Fritz tilted his head toward the sign. "Looks like there's going to be a tournament tonight." He read over the rest of the sign. "Three different types. Strength competition--where trainers battle for the role of Resort King or Queen. Beauty competition--where the trainers gussy up their PokePals for the role of Resort Prince and Princess. And a mystery competition--where the winner gets to invite up to 12 friends to stay in the Exclusive, Winner's Only Penthouse Suite."

Nieko waved his hand. "Psh, not like I'll win."

This caused Fritz to frown. "You have more badges than I do," Fritz reminded him.

"Just because I have more doesn't mean I'm stronger. Look at Rroy, he had none and he kicks my ass all the time."

A small, fleeting smile grace his face. "That's because you let him."

"It's not my fault he doesn't diversify his team. He could have as many as he wants and he has five. And of those five, two are dark, two poison, one ghost, one ice, and one dragon. Like hello, you need either bug, fighting or psychic."

"And yet his Absol can take out almost your entire team, sans Sawk. And Haunter wins every time you pit him against Sawk."

"To be fair, after Absol kicks my ass and I'm down to just Sawk, I don't have anyone to take out Haunter. Granted, I could just start with Sawk but we both know he'd start with Haunter. And shhh, I thought you said I let him win. " Winking, Nieko turned and moved back across the lobby. "I'll meet you upstairs," he added while moving toward the elev--

"Natu?" He patted his hair. "Where did that little bugger go," his emerald orbs danced over the room before him. Eventually, he spied his little flightless friend beside a Cubone. Well, at least she hasn't....

"Natu!"
he made a bee-line toward the creature, but it was too late. The Pokemon was already pecking away at the Cubone. "Holy hell, Natu," he swooped in and scooped the bratty Pokemon up, "stop being so rude. You're going to get us kicked out."

Turning, he swept into a bow. "I humbly apologize for Natu's behavior," he said to the brunette.

Meanwhile, Fritz was memorizing the sign. Paying no attention to his location, he stepped away while his eyes were still glued to the text he had read. Without realizing it, he collided with full-forced into something. A solid impact sent them both falling backwards.

Able to stabilize himself, he reached forward to jerk the other into his arms. He thought it best he catch the woman--whoever she was--rather than to let her land with a solid thud on the floor.

"Miss," he began, "I am so sorry."

Lucario's gaze hardened as a familiar purple bat plopped itself down next to Deino whom then quickly released Kyna's had at the familiar scent and the sound of the creature talking to it. I just got her away from you, why did you chase after her? He asked flabbergasted before the creature spoke to the smaller one on Kyna a couple more time. Putting his head into his paw he shook his head. Of all Pokemon to go after, Deino, you choose this one.

Kyna laughed, opening her eyes to see through a hyper sensitive, red tinted gaze. Deino turned on the woman's stomach, leaving red marks from where it had been seated before, though the red marks weren't as bright as her red and black trimmed bikini.

"It's ok Lucario," she said as he patted the creature on the head. "Look, they're friends." The woman laughed as Deino latched onto the Gligar's ear, drool pouring from its mouth.

Black paws fell gently to the woman's arm as Lucario said, I do not wish for you to face unpleasantness should Gligar's trainer not appreciate Deino's attention.

Kyna turned her head towards Lucario as she said, "I'll be fine Lucario, promise. Besides, if they want to make that big of a deal out of it, we can just battle." There was a smirk on the woman's face as the fighting pokemon shook his head. You and you're battles, he sighed which only brought a composed laughter from the woman as she lifted a hand to cover her mouth. "Are you really complaining about the thrill of the fight?"

Faylinn seemed less than interested in the interaction between the Pokemon beside her. Trevenant, on the other hand, had opened his eye again and was leaning down to better look at the winged creature.

Psh, like I mind. At least Toots doesn't throw up on my like Mudkip over there, his tail pointed to the vomiting Mudkip on the other side of the pool. Drool is far better than whatever Mudz eats. The Gligar shuddered before shaking his head.

So I can't say I've seen your faces around. Especially you, he said looking at Lucario. Granted, I'm not from around here. Arvin and gang decided to leave Unova because some of our friends had... He stifled a laugh. Performance issues.

Nudging the Deino, Gligar flew up into the Trevenant. Whoa great view. I can see what Mudz is eating. Oh ho-oh, what is that Mudz doing. Mudz knows better than to pester Rroy.

Even though he knew Deino was blind, the bat-like creature turned around on the branch he stood on and wiggled his butt from side to side. Ungst, ungst, ungst, he said while bobbing up and down. Check out my moves. Ooot, ooot.

Flapping his wings and bobbing his head, he danced for a little before before his over-sized feet sidestepped off the tree-Pokemon, which caused him to come tumbling down. Eventually getting the wind beneath his wings, he glided as he fell before landing softly on the ground beside Deino. Wing on her back, he propped himself up. So, Toots, what's a doll like you doing in a place like this. A lass of your class could get into trouble. The ears on his head moved, as if they were eyebrows. But never fear, your ruggedly good looking Gligar is here~!

Everything was going as planned until a Mudkip interrupted her view of the tall, dark, and handsome man she had been staring at for probably the last ten minutes. Flustered, she tried to subtly change her position in the sun so she could continue to admire Rroy's body. But, naturally, such wasn't allowed. Frowning, Aleu picked up the little Mudkip.

"Whatcha got in your mouth, cutie?" She tickled its chin while trying to get the Mudkip to open up.

"I wouldn't do that," Rroy advised. Seeing Aleu with the Mudkip, he sat up and swung his legs to the side. Rroy was now facing Aleu. He was facing her, which caused Aleu's emotions to spiral out into a tizzy. HE'S LOOKING AT ME, HE'S LOOKING AT ME!

Scooping the Mudkip from her lap, Rroy stroked the fins on either side of its face. Sure enough, the Mudkip opened his mouth and a lovely bottle of sunscreen sat in full view. "Mudz," Rroy's voice was deep and scolding, "you know you can't eat this." Reaching in, Rroy pulled the tube from the Pokemon's mouth. Instantly, Mudkip snapped forward to try to swallow it back up but instead took Rroy's hand. Gawking it lightly, the moronic Pokemon slowly registered just what it was doing. When the light bulb finally went off, Mudkip's jaws opened and pushed the hand from its mouth. Whipping off the slobber, the little water Pokemon slid down the lawn chair and onto the deck before scampering off.

"Yours?" Aleu asked while turning to catch his crimson gaze. He was taking the sunglasses off~! She could now stare into those dreamy eyes of his.

"Hell no," he retorted and his brows fell into his eyes, showing a hint of annoyance.

"Sorry," she stammered. "You just seemed to know him well."

"Oh I know him already. Mudz belongs to the bubbly redhead down there." He smirked while leaning forward, resting his elbows on his knees. "I don't really do so-called cute Pokemon."

Aleu rolled her eyes while biting back a laugh. "A tough guy like you? I'm sure your party is fully of powerful, scary monsters." Sliding her legs beneath her, Aleu mimicked Rroy's stance. They were now facing each other with hardly a foot of free space between them.

Completely confident, Aleu's lips parted into a seductive side-grin. "How about a battle?" She knew he wouldn't say no. "Winner gets to pick the place and the loser has to pay." And just in case he didn't catch her drift, she quickly added, "That's if you're not afraid to go on a date with little ol' me."

To her surprise, Rroy smirked. There seemed to be a softer, less intimidating look in his crimson gaze. Was he... actually going to accept. "Silly trainer, I don't really battle. I have no need in badges or championships."

Her brows furrowed. Did he just decline her offer to fight? A small pout played on her face. He didn't have to call her silly. Cheeks now burning a bright red color, all that confidence from moments ago fled like a frightened cat in a thunderstorm.

"Maybe some other time."

Her lips pursed as her eyes rose to met his. Did he....? She caught his fleeting smile, which caused her to grow one too. A warmth grew within her, washing away all that doubt from moments before.

"Guess we're rivals then," she quipped before punching him lightly in the chest. She expected him to be buff but she wasn't expecting him to be that solid. Just how strong was this guy? How could she convince him to take off his shirt without being too awkward.

She gulped. "I will marry you someday."

Her face was straight as could be; there was no hint of mockery either. She was being completely serious. This caused Rroy to trip over his next move a bit. He wasn't really sure how to respond. No one had ever been so bold. Hell, no one had ever admitted they liked him, let alone wanted to marry him (AKA loved him).

At a loss for words, he only shook his head before retreating back onto his chair. "If you say so," he half-teased, half-stated.

While waiting for their third companion to return, Eleanor started pacing around the lobby until she saw one of many duplicate flyers that were hung up for a competition that was to take place later that day. "Hey now, this could be something," she said as she set the now squirming Cubone on the ground.

Upon hearing this, Noah walked over to the brunette and read the sign before laughing, shaking her head. "Always got battle on the brain, huh Eleanor?"

The woman's olive colored eyes rose to look at the other as she said, "Gotta prove the point some time."

Noah just shook her head as her eyes fell to the ground as Cubone waddled a few feet away. "Awww, Eleanor look, it's a Natu!" Noah exclaimed excitedly as she knelt down to the ground as the small bird approached Cubone. She let out a dreamy sigh as she said, "I always wanted to get one, but they're not from Kanto. Not to mention, even you said you never say anyone bring one in."

Eleanor looked away from the flyer to see the tiny bird start pecking at the much larger Cubone. Taking a step forward, she was about to put a stop to it when Cubone took a plopped seat in front of the attacking bird; with its club over its shoulder, he plopped a larger hand onto the little bird's head. "Bone," he said as he proceeded to essentially pat the bird on the top of the head several times.

Not long after, a man was quickly approached, plucking the small bird up from the floor. He was apologizing as he stood, but the woman shook her head as the Cubone began to wail. "I think this one will be the more troublesome one," she said flatly as she picked up the creature. With both being held, Cubone flailed his arm towards the bird, the tears rolling down the skull it wore on its head.

Noah, in the meantime clasped her hands together as she watched the two. "Awww, Cubone must be in love," she exclaimed teasingly.

Nyx was quickly finishing up in the rest room before turning to leave the bathroom and catch up with the group. Having the thought that they were already on the move, the woman went to run but only made a few steps before running full force into someone else.

Rather than actually landing on the ground, the person she ran into had grabbed onto her leaving her to fall on top of him. "Oh my gosh, I'm so--," but she was cut off from an accent very similar to her own. Pulling her eyes from a very bare, pale and toned chest, her eyes landed on a male with eyes as vibrant as hers with dull teal hair. "Oooh, well hello there," she said, her voice seeming to pick up a bit of a purr.

She propped herself up onto her hands, her legs straddling the male's hips as she said, "Oh, no need to apologize, I should be thanking you." She then gave the male sly wink.

Glancing across the room, Noah's eyes widened before she reached over and tugged on the hem of Eleanor's shirt. "Speaking of love, I think we may want to pull Nyx off that guy," she said under her breath, nodding her head in the direction behind the male.

Eleanor's eyes hardened as she looked at the small, crying Cubone. "May I see?" She asked the Pokemon and through tears, he handed her the club. Thanking the small Pokemon, she set him on the ground before throwing the bone club towards the woman, conking her on the head. Of course, not wanting his prized club to get away, Cubone was quick to stop crying and was making a quick waddle across the floor to get it.

Something hard and solid connected with the woman's head and Nyx quickly shot a look back towards the lobby where she saw an angry Eleanor and her determined Cubone coming towards her. "What gives?" The woman called out as she rubbed the lump forming on her head. "I found him, find someone else, this one's mine!"

---------- Post added 03-23-2016 at 03:07 PM ----------

Lucario's eyes were on the Gligar as it started talking to him; Kyna had gone back to relaxing in the sun with her eyes closed. Not that his conversations bothered her; he was more than aware that she was used to seeing through his eyes at this point. When the Gligar talked about having never seen them around, that was when the bi-pedal hound seemed to take on a bit of pride as he puffed his chest out.

We come from Kanto, where my trainer Kyna reigns as Champion, he said to the bat creature as it pulled away from Deino. Kyna decided it best to relax after her victory and defending her title for a little while.

As the Gligar flew off, Deino's head moved side to side as though she were trying to see him, find him. She could hear him though and Trevenant was making sure to let her know that Gligar was close so she would panic or run off.

You're gonna-- Trevenant started to say to the bat before it indeed fell from it. The tree was a patient one, actually enjoying other Pokemon climbing all over it. It slowly reached its arms out to catch the falling creature, though it seemed to catch itself before needing the help. Once he was back on the ground, Trevenant leaned over, patting the creature on the head as its attention had once again returned to Deino.

She seemed to enjoy the Gligar's attention and Lucario couldn't blame her for Kyna was much the same way for a long time. It was rare to find someone that didn't care about something like blindness and the fact that Kyna could see through the psychic bond she had with him, well, that just seemed to scare people off more. At that, the creature's eyes softened as he watched how excited the smaller Pokemon got.

Momma is raising me to be big and strong like her! She exclaimed excitedly; her head was turned towards Gligar but they all knew she didn't actually see the creature. [i]She said that no matter what people think, I will be stronger than them all![/]

Cubone's flailing and whaling was adorable. It actually made Nieko feel bad that he took Natu away. Then again, it's not like Natu was being all lovey-dovey; she was attacking the poor Cubone, which was odd. Usually Natu just kept to herself. She had an air of arrogance to her. She thought she was a cut above the rest, despite being so small and probably his least-trained Pokemon on the team. Though, despite being one of the newer ones, she did put up quite a fight. She was stubborn as hell, which was a double-edged sword. She would often get the win but exert herself too much to the point where she needed to rest for daays.

Flicking his gaze up, he finally caught a glimpse of the Cubone owner. Every inch of this woman was perfection. From her taut, pink lips to her aggressive stance to her short yet cute stature. He swooned and felt his heart flutter within in his chest. At this point, everything was a blur, sans one comment that he had to answer.

"Yes, I think I am," he whispered after hearing Noah's comment about love. Even though she was referring to the Pokemon, Nieko didn't care. He was completely drawn to this petite woman with the olive green orbs and long, chocolate-colored hair. Letting out a light, hopeless sign, he admired the woman in her full glory.

As she hoisted her arm, he admired her muscles. Her strength. She was fierce. Tough. A fighter. The kind of woman he needed by his side. Her aim was impeccable too. So much so that he applauded her though when he saw who she hit and who said person was with, he started laughing.

"Oh you don't have to worry about him. Fritz is asexual. Your friend can cling to him as much as she would like. Love doesn't phase him one way or anything. He's also very used to being treated like a doll. He's practically a butler."

Tilting his head to the side, he looked Eleanor over while the woman's back was to him. Letting his eyes linger on the rounded rear of hers, he smirked. Yup, she was definitely the one. He figured Noah was probably watching, but he didn't care. If he was lucky, Noah would make an excellent wingman. Er, wingwoman.

"Psh," he scoffed, "if he's yours, then this one is mine." He said more to himself than to anyone else. Though both Eleanor and Noah likely heard the comment.

Stepping back to admire his new found woman, Nieko rested his chin on knuckle. "So what brings you ladies here? Vacationing?" Might as well make small talk, he told himself. Getting to know who he was going to woo was important. "Or is this just one of many stops as you work your way to the Elite Four?" This brunette acted like the type of woman to enjoy intense battles.

Before falling--gliding--from the tree, Gligar caught all of what Lucario had to share. He wasn't sure if it was wise to mention that his partner, Arvin was the champion in Unova. He didn't want to start a fight as that would mean having to go toe-to-toe with the lovely Deino he was trying to charm.

No matter what people think? What could people possible think about you, besides the fact that you've got the sweetest smile and the bluest hue I've ever seen. He offered her a smile, though he was aware of the fact that it fell to blind eyes. Just because you've got something in your way, doesn't mean you can't figure out how to get around it. Arvin has a condition that makes him get really sick. It can't be cured so he's had to deal with it his whole life. He always tells us we can either give up or keep fighting through it. But he does remind us that giving up is okay. Gligar looked over at Trevenant, wanting to keep him included in the conversation too. He says every weakness has its strength and losing is just part of the game.

Tongue rolling from his mouth, he flopped down on the ground beside Deino. So you're the champion team from Kanto. Are you looking to collect the badges here in Kalos? Bossman was planning on it but the rest of the gang wanted to relax before jumping into battling again. I can't wait until we get to Santalune City. I know we'll squash them bugs like we did last time. We already got the Insect Badge from Castelia City. Bug Badge should be easy-peasy. Actually, most of these badges shouldn't be too bad. A lot of them are similar to the badges we got in Unova. We haven't gone up against all Rock, Fairy, or Steel types yet. But the rest we've already beaten in our region.

Gligar shrugged his shoulders. I think it odd we came here when the badge types are so similar but hey, I didn't make the plans. I don't know how to use the Internet to buy tickets. I don't have thumbs. Or fingers for that matter. And Arvin doesn't like it when I lick the keyboard.

Lucario smiled at the flirtatious bat as it showered Deino with compliments, the dinosaur looking creature obviously excited to hear the compliments. Though, it was also obvious that the creature was bashful when it came to hearing such things. With a large smile on her face, Deino pulled her supposed gaze from the purple bat which Lucario found endearing. Patting the top of her head with a paw, the canine looked at the bat before saying, Your trainer is wise and kind.

His orange-red eyes fell to the bat once again. Coming over any weakness such as that is a feat and such trainers deserve more credit than they are given. He didn't bother telling the Gligar that much like Deino, Kyna was also blind though her sight had a psychic connection with his own. What good would that do, sharing personal information like that?

Gligar was already onto the next topic by the time Lucario had finished speaking and his words, at this point, confused him. Kalos? He went on about having gotten a badge in the region as well as having them all from their home region. His eyes narrowed slightly; if they had all eight badges from their home region, what was to say they did or did not challenge the Elite Four and their Champion? Lucario didn't push that topic rather he had to correct a glaring error.

Kalos? I do believe you mean Sinnoh, he said while slowly shaking his head. And if you have a badge here, I do believe you mean the Coal Badge. Lucario thought about what the bat was saying as far as going up against different types. Fairy times were very rare in Kalos, but over the last few months, more and more were making their way to challenge Kyna. Fortunately, between himself and Aggron, they were able to keep the strong buggers down. He was bewildered to think that such peaceful, happy looking creatures could pose such a threat in battle. Oh well, he would let Gligar and his team learn that first hand; afterall, you can hear about fairy types all day but you will still let your guard down around them the first time.

Gligar fumbled forward. What do you mean Sinnoh? He blinked a few times before shrugging his wings. Well if Bossman messed up and bought tickets to Sinnoh then I guess I could have used the Internet. He's a special one. Not sure why he's left in charge when the Dark One is away.

That's when he started pacing. So Coal Badge. Hmmm. Going up against Rock Types. That means... aww, that means he probably won't use me. Gligar pouted and doing so caused his tongue to fall out again.

Not sure he would use Croagunk... if the attacking Pokemon has any Ground attacks, he'll be in trouble. Ugh. Gligar grunted before plopping on his rump again. That means Flygon will steal the show. Again. Like always. Stupid Flygon. Always showing off for Gardevoir. The bat-like creature rolled his eyes.

While sitting, he wiggled his little feet before laughing with his tongue out. Huehuehue. They are funny to watch though. Gardevoir cannot stand Flygon. She's always rejecting him. For being a Fairy type, she's anything but nice.

Letting out a sigh, he flopped backward so he was laying on his back looking up at Trevenant. Do your trainers always travel together? And what are they like? Do you like them? Did you pick them? Or did they pick you?

He sure was a chatty one. Probably because these were new Pokemon who he hadn't bored to death yet with his ceaseless questions.

Lucario nodded as Gligar seemed confused. "This is definitely Sinnoh," he confirmed as the smaller creature seemed a bit perlexed by the error. The bat then started to pace, going on about the Coal bagde; it wasn't uncommon for Pokemon to be used if they were going to be weak against their opponent. Though, as the bat began talking about a few other members his team, Lucario really began to wonder if Gligar was fully aware of the strengths and weaknesses they had.

He had been with Kyna quite literally his whole life, having been brought in as an egg, hatching to the tender hands of the woman as a small child. Together they studied about all there was with Pokemon and even after her accident, he became even more important to her. If there was anyone that could quickly measure the possibilities of victory through type strength and weakness as well as having an idea of the move pool Pokemon could have, it was Kyna. Granted, coming from one of the oldest towns of Kanto with her parents in charge of the Historical Society, it probably wasn't any surprise.

It was when the bat said Flygon would take the show that he tilted his head. The dragon trainer of the Elite Four recently got one and wanted to show it off in battle to Kyna. The ground typing it had would clearly make it superior in battle, but a Croagunk would still fair quite well as well, as long as it knew any of its fighting type abilities and if his defense was properly trained.

Much like with all the topics before, Gligar was quick to jump on to the next one; the Gardevoir on the team. So far, Lucario had learned of Croagunk, Gardevoir, Flygon and himself. Though, to hear that the Gardevoir held a less-than-pleasant attitude, especially towards Flygon seemed strange to Lucario. It wasn't like their kind to be anything but nice and for a team to harbor disconent to another like that, well, it didn't seem beneficial.

Seeming to have had enough talking about his own team, he started to question them, including Trevenant, whom wasn't known to be the most talkative. Almost as if the thought of that called the beast, the glaring orb rolled over to Lucario.

Kyna and Faylinn have been together since they were children. Though an odd pairing, they get along quite well, Lucario said and the spooky noise of wind through a dead forest came from the Trevenant again as it closed its eye in happy contempt.

Lucario looked back down to Deino once again before saying, Kyna both picks and is accepted by her team. Though a stern and determined trainer, she doesn't force us to fight against our will and has released many that did not wish to be with her.

Eyes looking up to Trevenant, Lucario continued, Faylinn's Pokemon chose her and she accepts them as they are. I have never seen her turn anyone away that chose to team up with her. Should you ever have the chance to meet both teams, you may be able to learn much on our trainers. There were a kindness in Lucario's words; it was clear that he was close to Kyna and he cared deeply for both her and her friend.

The teams really did speak highly of the trainers; for a while, Kyna kept a very powerful team, some with superior sight. Ever since her accident as a child, she was very aware at the disadvantage her blindness put her at and wanted a team that could counter that and make people not think less of her because of it. Over the last few months as the Champion, the woman seemed to have a change of heart as she allowed her prized Salamance to retire and adopted Deino to raise. Unlike the others, Deino could connect and bond with Kyna in ways the others couldn't because of their shared ailment. She wanted others to know, especially Pokemon, that just because you are missing a sense, it didn't mean that you were useless.

Faylinn, on the other hand, was an interesting one. Her family tended to the Pokemon Tower in Lavender Town and the white haired woman was oftend found towards the top, more haunted floors tending to the Pokemon graves. Her pale skin and white hair lead many to call her a ghost herself and that was indeed what she seemed to attract. The ghosts of the Tower enjoyed the woman's presence and how she carefully tended to all of their resting places. Those that could, chose to stay with the woman and word seemed to somehow spread through the spirit world of a woman who accepted ghosts with open arms. The fact that she never seemed upset by the occassional Haunter lick seemed to draw even more fascination from the ghost types.

Embracing for the foul words that would chip away at him, Fritz was quite surprised when the woman he rammed into decided to spice things up. Had this been Arvin, Varun, or Nieko, the outcome would have played right into the woman's feelings, longings, and emotions. But this was Fritz. And as Nieko stated to her friends, Fritz had absolutely no desire to partake in anything romantic--sexual or platonic.

Unable to squirm away, for he feared any movement might make her think he was interested, Fritz just laid their with his back against the floor. No matter how she fiddled and playing with him, be it walking her fingers up his chest or trying to woo him with fluttery words, it didn't matter. He just wasn't interested. It's not to say that Nixie wasn't a lovely woman. She was! But she just didn't match Fritz's ideal love situation--loneliness.

Had he not be trying to hold his breath to keep his body from moving, he probably would have noticed the bone that was rudely hurled at the sweet little white haired woman. When it clocked her in the side, Fritz grimaced. Still, he didn't care enough to move or check on her. She was the one pinning him to the floor after all. This attack, though far from proper, was rightly called for.

It was her next set of words that caused his face to pale and his skin to sweat. Did she... just... label him hers? Was she mad? Daft? Crazy?!

Definitely crazy, he presumed for who in their right mind would want him as "theirs." He was hardly boyfriend material. That and he found all aspects of love foolish. He had his code and he had Melik. He had no room in his life to harbor a woman.

Letting out a sigh, his head rolled back just in time to catch a very fat Mudkip waddle toward him. Make that waddle with vigor and passion! Despite being a bit on the chubby side, this little guy could move. That's when it hit him. It was Mudz. Mudz was coming.

"We should get off the floor," he began to say. Only this woman atop him seemed to enjoy her little public display of affection. Each second she didn't get off brought Mudz closer.

Brows furrowing, he felt a heavy weight walk across his stomach before jumping over his arm.

Cubone?

A blank look cleared away all his expression. The Pokemon was fetching his bone and rather than walking around him, it decided to walk on him.

Sure enough, it traced its steps. The Cubone walked back up onto his torso before hopping down on the other side. It was making its way back to the trainer that threw the bone in the first place.

"Oh god," he muttered when he heard the familiar sound of a sloshing stomach. Mudz was behind him. He could feel its moist breath turning the tips of his hair curly.

A thick lump formed in his throat. Any minute now, Mudz would unload his lunch on him.

Eyes closed, he waited.

And waited.

"Oof--" the air was kicked from his stomach. Eyes flying open, he feared the worst--Mudz on his chest positioning himself for the proper regurgitation. But what he saw, he was not expecting. There, literally just millimeters from his lips, were her lips. And atop her head? Well there sat a very smug, overweight Mudkip.

Trying to force his head into the floor, a look of panic immobilized his body. There was nothing he could do. He was trapped beneath those soft, pink lips that were pursing as if to go in for the kill.

Nieko,
he pleaded mentally, save me.

Noah shook her head as the bone went flying; Cubone never seemed to mind Eleanor doing such a thing and seemed to take it more as a game. It wasn't anything new either; it was usually the easiest thing to throw at the woman, unless she felt like pulling Goodra out, which she was surprised the brunette didn't. Then again, Eleanor was more than aware of the slime that came with the over affectionate dragon and probably didn't want to make a mess of the lobby.

She heard someone speak near her, turning to see the Natu owner staring at Eleanor. The blonde looked to her friend, then back again a few times before an idea started forming in her mind. No, she thought to herself. There's no way someone would fall for Eleanor, especially after that. It wasn't that she was thinking poorly of her friend, but when it came to being personable, Eleanor was not. If anyone found her attractive, one glare and they were usually running; that or having a ball of fire chasing after you usually did the trick.

The man was drawing his attention back to the scene though, clearly not overly concerned over the predicament that his friend was in. She caught his gaze fall back to Eleanor before she shook her head and laughed. "Don't doubt Nixie, she's persistent," she said, the humor in her voice.

His follow up comment caused the woman to raise her brows as she looked back at him again. He really did find Eleanor attractive. Covering her mouth, Noah wasn't sure how to react; a part of her wanted to egg this guy on to see what he could do, but at the same time she would feel guilty if he had to face the wrath of Eleanor.

It seemed that asking about the Elite Four was enough to get Eleanor back to the conversation. Scooping up the Cubone, she turned to face the male and nodding back said, "This one wanted to take a break, not sure why, it's not like she's been going after the gyms lately."

This response brought a giggle from Noah as she said, "Eleanor's determined to take on the Elite Four soon. We've gotten five badges in Kanto so far, all within just over a month. Taking a break seemed like a good idea rather than burning ourselves out to get there."

Eleanor seemed far less than interested in dealing with Nyx beyond throwing the bone at her, though the glare the woman gave her said all she needed to know. Not long after that glare was received, a familiar waddling dino-looking Pokemon had made its way to them and pulling itself onto the prey Nyx had captured, walked over him, retrieved his bone and then went back the same way. Cubone was always direct and was the type that didn't seem to care about obstacles and would face things head on; very much like his trainer.

As the Pokemon was heading back to Eleanor, the man near them started to talk. The woman seemed to purr a growl at the male as she planted her hands on the ground beside his head, lowering herself to her forearms. "Nixie does like a challenge," she said, a devious glint in her eyes as she looked at the pinned man beneath her.

His gaze pulled from hers before he said they should get off the floor. Stubbornly shaking her head, Nyx said, "Nuh-uh, I do that, you'll get away." Shortly after the man closed his eyes, which confused the woman; it wasn't like she was actually trying to do anything to him. Then, a force landed on the back of her head; something heavy, but squishier, something that seemed to weigh more than it should for as squishy as it was.

Unable to keep herself up, the force pushed her head down towards the male's, her lips colliding with his roughly at first, or it could have been her biting her own lip. After a moment, Nyx opened her eyes, they widened in shock at the same panicked expression she was getting from her male at the feeling against her own lips.

"CHOO!" The voice yelled from the other side of the room as a cold bolt knocked the weight from the back of Nyx's head away. As soon as it was gone, the woman sat up and scrambled off the man, her hands covering her face. "I am so, so sorry," she said between her fingers as her face turned a very vibrant shade of red, her eyes closed tightly.

Waddling up towards them came a very angry bear; the usual runny nose was gone as the cub pointed towards the Mudkip sending ice shard after ice shard at the creature until it got back to its trainer. Once up to Nyx, it hugged her side protectively, the look it its eye seeming to dare anyone to approach her.

At the other side of the room, Noah stood half bent over, a stunned look on her face. She had tried to keep control over Cubchoo but had clearly lost. "Uh, well, that's rather unexpected," she said staring at the scene before them.

"There's nothing wrong with taking a break." He smiled at Noah and then realized he never introduced himself to these lovely ladies. He was on a role today for being rude. "My apologizes, again," he swept into a bow, "my name's Nieko Colte. I'm from the Unova region. Like you, we're here on vacation. Kinda."

His brows furrowed as he tried to figure out how to explain their situation. Some of them were on vacation whereas others were here for a new challenge. And then there were those that came here to train and get stronger by challenging lower level gyms to boost their ego and get them back on track again.

"Well some of us are on vacation. Others are here to challenge the Elite Four. And then there's our one friend who just tags along for moral support. We arrived a few days ago. I think we're here until...Sunday, though I'm not really sure. I wasn't the one to book this hotel." He shrugged his shoulders. "Once we're done here, we're heading to Oreburgh City." He shook his head as the Mudkip hopped on Nixie's head. "After you've settled in and had a day to enjoy the sun, perhaps we can all meet up for lunch or something? None of us have traveled to Kanto yet. It's on our list. Maybe you can give us some pointers? We can tell you all about Unova." His expression softened as a loose smile came on his face. "Don't worry, I'll pick a Poke-friendly place. And I'm a bit of a foodie so you don't have to worry about eating anything nasty," he smirked. Then a sly look came to his eyes. "And don't worry about paying; we make Rroy do that. Consider it a treat." His emerald gaze flickered to Nyx and Fritz. "A treat for the lovely couple over yonder," he teased.

Although most would argue that you shouldn't talk to strangers, Nieko hardly looked threatening, especially with the Natu sleeping on his head. Not to mention, his jade orbs were very inviting and friendly. That and they were at a resort. It wasn't uncommon to make new friends while staying at hotel. Hell, some might argue it was the best place to make friends. Or find a partner for the evening, if you catch my drift.

As the Cubone waddled back with his bone, Nieko cracked a grin. "Aren't you a little cutie," he said while bending down some to get closer to the Pokemon's eye level (also closer to Eleanor's boob level). "And that's a mighty fine bone you have there." Holding out his hand, he waited to see if the Cubone would nestle up against his open palm or growl and run away. Regardless of what it did, he would just chuckle lightly.

The way her face lit up like a Christmas tree was kind of adorable. She was flustered beyond belief and only seemed to get redder by the second as the Cubchoo came to her rescue (if you could really call it a rescue). The once confident woman crumbled before him as she became plagued by the redness that kissed her pretty, one-pale cheeks.

A soft smile slid on his face as he watched her scramble away and usher out an apology. With her eyes closed as they were, she almost looked like an angel. She had flowing white locks and a very pretty face with rose-colored cheeks.

Awkwardly, he pulled himself from the floor and brushed off the dust before titled his head to the side. "It's fine," his rich accent present as he spoke. "Mudz is nothing new. I'm used to his antics." Hands falling into his pockets, he looked around to see if he could spy the chubby Mudkip but gaze up. Cubchoo did a grand job scaring the fatty away. Hell, it was probably the first time Mudkip actually ran from something.

"Well miss...." His lips pursed. He hadn't learned her name. Wait, no. He had. She spoke in third person. "Nixie." Her name sounded like a dream as it rolled from his tongue, "it's been a pleasure sharing the floor together but I'm afraid I must take my leave." Much like Nieko, Fritz dipped into a bow before rising and moving toward the brunette over by the other two girls.

Stepping up beside Nieko, he cocked a brow. "Thought you were getting changed?"

"Destiny had another path in store," he retorted as if rehearsed. Giving the Cubone a gentle pat on the head, he winked at Eleanor. "Well, ladies, think about my offer. We'd be honored to have your radiant personalities join us for dinner."

A wrinkle formed between Fritz's brows. "Dinner?" Did Nieko really invite them to dinner?

"Yeah, after your little snafu, I figured dinner was the least we could do. That and they're from Kanto. Thought you and Melik might enjoy learning about the gyms over there." At Fritz's silence, Nieko waved at the trio with three fingers. "Adios," he quipped. Turning toward the elevators, he stopped a few feet from where he once stood. "Oh, if you need us, we're on the 6th floor. Rooms 6 through 12. My extension is 0607."

And with that, Nieko and Fritz left to change into something a little more suited for sitting by a pool with three year olds.

Well fancy that. Gligar laughed at himself. Glad to know we're not in Kalos. Good thing I ran into you guys. Boy would I have been shocked when I learned we were going up against a Rock Leader first instead of a Bug Leader. Oi, saved me a big ol' headache.

Kyna and Faylinn. Pretty names. That's neat that they've known each other for so long and still work together. Arvin and all his friends have known each other a long time too. They didn't always get along but after Rroy started going to their school, they became friends. It's weird how one person can change a life. From the sad look on his face, there seemed to be more to this comment than a friendship.

Yeah? Arvin's the same way. Granted, I always want to fight. He'll usually step in and tell me enough's enough. I trust him. He might not have the best strategies. Actually, his strategies are the worst but hey, he loves us all. Gligar smiled warmly at this thought. Sounds like your trainers love you all too. It's nice to have such great partners. Arvin and I have challenged a lot of not-so-great teams. His little bat ears drooped. Some people really abuse their Pokemon. A lot of the Pokemon on Rroy's team came from abusive situations. At first glance, you'd assume Rroy beat his team but he saved them all.

Oh! He giggled. I keep talking about these people but you don't know who they are. That stud over there with the bright green hair is my bossman, Arvin. The guy with the long blue hair is my best bud, Varun. And the short bishie with the big grin is Melik. Oh and the one a few chairs down in the shade is Rroy. Fritz and Nieko are MIA.

Back to the conversation, Gligar smiled up at Lucario. I can already tell a lot about your trainers. They're both very trusting. No offense--myself included--we aren't exactly the cuddly, cutesy Pokemon. We're nothing like Sylveon over there. To let us out, it means our partners respect us and know we'll handle ourselves in a proper manner. It also means we earned a break, he added.

Flopping back against the warm ground, Gligar looked up at the clouds above. It sure is nice to relax and make new friends.

As the guy near them talked about taking a break, Eleanor pulled her eyes back to see what Nyx was up to and to no surprise, the woman didn't seem all that willing to let the man go. Then again, if her eyes served her right, this guy didn't seem to exactly be fighting back anyway.

It would be Noah whom responded to the male as he introduced himself. "I'm Noah, this is Eleanor," she said pointing to the brunette. Her eyes then fell to the more than embarrassed white haired woman on the other side of the room. "And that's Nyx." Nieko, as he introduced himself, then went on to explain what brought them there, at least in a nutshell. She nodded as she listened, though his head shake seemed out of place in the conversation and Noah turned to see what he had seen. Of course, her having seen it meant Cubchoo did as well and the small bear was quickly on the attack to chase off the fat Mudkip that had plopped itself on his trainer's head. Once the bear was gone, Noah covered her mouth to stifle a laugh.

"We'll be off to Oreburgh City when we check out on Sunday too!" She did eventually say once Nyx had scrambled herself away from the teal haired male she was claiming only moments before. "We have yet to visit Unova, so we definitely have a lot we could talk about." Tilting her head towards the brunette that was welcoming back her Cubone she added, "I don't think Eleanor would turn down a meeting if it meant getting information on gym leaders."

She watched as the man's attention then went to Eleanor's Cubone, whom though he was talking to, didn't exactly seem to be paying attention to him. Rather, Cubone lifted his bone high, waving it slightly; he was trying to get Natu's attention. "Bone," he said, determination filling his eyes as he planted his free hand on the trainer's knee. "Bone, bone, bone, bone."

Eleanor caught onto this rather quickly, which she should have being his trainer. Leaning down slighting, she pressed a finger into the top of his skull helm, pushing him back to the ground. "Leave the poor thing alone, clearly it doesn't want your attention," she said before her olive eyes fell to Nieko. "You stick around too long and I think you're going to have your hands full with this one."

Nyx could hear the man as he got up, saying that this 'Mudz' was nothing new and he was used to his antics. She pulled her knees up, her arms wrapping around them, her face buried in her now folded arms. So, this was no big deal to him? They kissed and it was no big deal. She couldn't look at him; it made no sense to her, how did it not bother him.

But when he said her name, oh the way it sounded with his accent, which was really the same as hers, but on such a deeper voice than her own, oh it made her heart flutter. Once he dismissed himself and started walking away, she pulled her hidden blue orbs up to watch him. Yup, he was definitely a good one, she thought to herself, her face still a lovely crimson color.

Eleanor was watching the girl though; she hadn't recalled a time when she last saw Nyx get this worked up over something. As the teal haired man joined their group, he asked Nieko about changing. A plan was forming in the woman's mind as she both listened into what the men were saying as well as watching the both embarrassed and dreamy look on the other's face. "We may have to take you up on the dinner offer," she said as she turned to face a male; the stoic look on her face made it almost surprising to hear that response from her.

The look on Noah's face echoed this thought and as they men left, Nieko leaving them with his extension, she made her way over to the brunette. "I never thought you of all people would accept an invitation like that, especially from a guy!"

Eleanor shrugged, a bit of devious humor flickering behind her orbs as she said, "Well, sometimes you just have to take a step forward."

Walking up to her still seated friend, Cubone right on her heels. Squatting before the girl, she said, "Hey, come on, we have to get to the room. We're gonna be meeting for dinner with some guys later so you better get settled in."

It took Nyx a second to focus on the woman and her eyes widened. "Wait, dinner, with guys?" She pulled her head up from her arms as she said, "You can't mean those guys. Didn't you see what just happened?!" Shaking her head she added, "Uh uh, no way, not gonna happen."

Eleanor rolled her eyes and planted a hand on Nyx's knee, Cubone doing the same to Cubchoo. "Think of it like fate." She then pushed off the woman's knee, standing up right again before saying, "You can always consult Luvdisc if you doubt that."

Turning her back to the woman, Noah bounded over adding, "Plus, we get going now, we can go to the pool for a little while!"

The brunette didn't like the idea of that, but from the excited sound that came from behind her, she knew she was outnumbered.

"YES! Luvsidc will know! Luvdisc knows all!"
She could hear the woman jump to her feet before saying, "And the team does want to stretch, I know it!" With that, the white haired woman bounded over to their discarded bag and threw hers over her shoulder, Cubchoo waddling behind her. "Come on, we have a pool to go to!"

The Trevenant started groaning some more before it took a few steps, if that's what you could call them, towards a black bag next to the white haired woman's bed. Peaking an eye open, Faylinn caught the movement before saying, "Feeling lonely, my dear?" In its hand was a simple red and white Pokeball, which it held out almost pleadingly. A smile spread across the woman's pale features as she looked at the newest Pokemon that had joined them. "Of course," was all she said and pressed the button on the front of the ball. A light burst from the ball and once it faded a small black bird flew over the Trevenant's hand. Taking the ball back from the Pokemon, Faylinn put it back in the bag before laying back and closing her eyes once again.

Found an ugly one, didn't ya, Trevenant? The bird asked, it's voice holding the same caw-sound a crow would make. It fluttered its wings to land on one of the head branches of the Pokemon as it settled once again. Murkrow tilted its head a few times as that creepy sounding breeze came by them again.

Trevenant thinks you should have let the first gym be a surprise, Lucario, the bird said, speaking for the tree.

Lucario laughed and shook his head before saying, You know that isn't very fair Trevenant. The tree waved a dismissive hand as the crow shrugged saying,

Their fault for poor planning and research.

Lucario sighed at that, You two have been hanging out with Kyna far too much lately, haven't you? His attention then went back to Gligar as he said, Kyna is as wonderful a strategist as she is lovely. He looked past the bat, towards the gate that surround the pool and beyond, recalling some of their tougher battles. She's a wonder on the field, truly awe-inspiring.

He nodded hearing what Gligar was saying, they too had seen many a poor training come and challenge Kyna, even before her role as the Champion. It seemed that once she got that title, it was more often and every time she would tell trainers that they would never have a chance at defeating her if they didn't trust and respect their Pokemon for without that trust and respect, they will never return the favor.

Lucario took a seat at the foot of Kyna's sun bed, the woman bending her knees to give him room, but didn't speak up to question what he was doing. He looked towards the men he was talking about; the first couple seemed to be quite capable, the third seemed more cute than the strong, dependible type and Rroy? He definitely seemed to be a bit pre-occupied, but Lucario could see how people would assume he abused his Pokemon. Ruling the last two out, Lucario's gaze fell back to the green haired and blue haired men, Arvin and Varun. Those two he would have to watch a bit more, but he could definitely encourage Kyna to get out and talk to men for once. Looking back towards Gligar, a slow thought came to mind as he continued on once again.

They do indeed trust us to let us out. Though, I think it says more to the fact that they think more about us than they do what people around them are thinking.

Always the sentimental and logical thinkinger, Murkrow pipped up as it fluffed its feathers, making itself comfortable on Trevenant. Since the bird came out, people were definitely keeping a bit more distance from the group. They had a bad rep for being bringers of ill fortune, though the way Faylinn let her guard around it and Kyna didn't even mention anything, you wouldn't believe that for the world.

Ignoring the Murkrow, Lucario looked at Gligar before asking, Won't your trainer, Arvin, be worried about your absence?
