Today is Valentine's day! Valentine's day is commercialized as a day where icky couples celebrate their love and whatnot. But then there are ~those~ people who go . So! What are all of your opinions on Valentine's day?

Ruby Red: I don't care either way to be honest. I have issues with commercialised holidays anyway, as I don't appeciate stores trying to dictate when I should celebrate things, so I pretty much ignore things like Valentine's day. The chocolate's nice though

Would you like me to move this thread over to the event forum for you? GD tends to be pretty dead during events

valentines is definitely a holiday created for consumer-consumption but i don't mind. if people want to have a day to celebrate their love, that's their business and why not?

i agree with jelly about the chocolate haha :p on sale candies here i come

I think if couples want a single day to celebrate their love, then that's them...

In my opinion, I'd rather celebrate my love for someone every day and not just one day.
But I don't hate Valentines Day. I think the only people that actually hate Valentines Day are those really bitter, mean people who are just pissed off that they are single.
