It's been forever since I watched an episode of it. I never got through the entire thing (it gets a little weird and cerebral, but that's what some people like in their anime-- it just isn't for me) Good from what I remember, though! Definitely worth checking it out if you're interested in anime and vampires of any kind.

I agree. It's much different than the romantic comedy animes my sis normally makes me watch.

I'm not a vampire person but I might look it up though and if its not too strange, check it out.

There are two different versions of Hellsing. There's the original 13 episode anime which finished up before the manga was finished. It takes his sidekick Ceres, the "Police Girl" a lot more seriously as a 'companion'. The OAV matches the manga storyline better but I really didn't like how it ended up making Ceres more of a 'comedy relief' and didn't validate her plights. I also heard that Walter (the butler) ended up betraying somehow, and that made me sad as well. Plus, the original anime has EXCELLENT music, and nobody can deny that. Even if you don't like the anime, the music is still win and awesomesauce. I like listening to the opening as I'm getting ready for my day...

It's absolutely beautiful outside today I wish I weren't behind on work so I could go out and enjoy it, but... I have a window open so I won't completely miss out on it. : )
