Name: Pandora Night. The doctors that did her surgery(see short bio) call her Unit 1.

Short Bio: She was completely human once, but she was in a terrible accident... So she went through this new procedure that the surgeons had been wanting to test. Her body is almost completely robotic. She still has her heart. Her eyes are the same, but a bit enhanced with technology. Her voice even has a slight robotic tone to it.

Jason hurried to his apartment complex as the wind blew. He had just got off work and was feeling very tired. He hoped that his weekend would be a quiet one, since he hadn't been getting much sleep.

Pandora let out a small sigh, looking around her room. Her eyes landed on the portal-like time machine that she had made, only good for one use so no one else could use it unless it was completely taken apart and re-made. But only she knew how to do it, so no one else would be able to do such a thing. She stood up from her bed and walked over to it, entering a date for 2012(guessing that's the date in the past...). She watched as the machine lit up, the center starting to swirl with a red and gold misty glow. She made sure her wings were ready for the major time-jump, then stepped through. Yet when she was through, she was high up in the air. She looked down, almost hitting the top of a building(apartment complex) before flying off to the side. She let out a sigh of relief, glad that she didn't hit the roof. She hovered down in the alley, leaning against the building that was next to the apartment complex.

Jason thought he saw a flash of light in the alleyway next to his apartment and went to investigate what it was. He hoped it wasn't anything that could hurt him, since he was starting to feel uneasy?

Pandora sighed, looking around for a moment. When she peeked in through a window, she saw a male staring at her. She let out a small "eek" sound, covering her mouth. She just kept staring, not uttering a word as she hovered there.

"Who are you?" Jason said in a shaky voice. He had ever anyone like the girl, or anyone floating on the ground like she was. He rubbed his eyes, hoping this was a dream.

Pandora blinked a couple times, slowly removing her hands from her mouth. "My name is Pandora," she said, "Who are you?" Her voice was slightly robotic, and you could tell it was when she said certain words.

" I"m Jason." He said, wondering why her voice sounded different. He felt a chill in the air, having the feeling it would would rain soon.

"Pleasure to meet you... Jason..." Pandora said with a smile. She felt the chill in the air, too, so she looked at her arm and pushed a couple buttons, a holographic weather radar popping up. She looked at it for a moment, then looked at Jason. "Would you mind letting me in?" she said, "It's going to rain soon, and I don't need to get wet."

" Sure. I don't mind. Just follow me. " Jason said heading to the apartment building.

( he went to the alley to see what the light was. )

Pandora nodded slightly, hovering after him.

Jason opened the door to the building for Pandora. She seemed like a nice person, though he wondered what she really was.

Pandora finally decided to land on her feet, walking into the building. She looked around, a slightly confused yet excited look on her face. The past had such a different design than the future time period that she came from.

" I live on the 4th floor. Is the elevator alright?" Jason asked, not sure if Pandora wanted to use the stairs or not. He was too tired to climb the stairs and just wanted to go to bed.

Pandora looked over at Jason, nodding slightly. "Elevator is fine," she said.

" Okay. " Jason said with a smile and pushed the button. " This thing is pretty slow sometimes , but it rarely breaks down. " He added.

"Technology in this time period isn't as advanced as my time period," Pandora said, "It's so different."

" It is. Though elevators made in this time are much faster than this one right here. " Jason said as it opened, letting Pandora go first.

Pandora stepped inside, leaning against one of the walls. "We don't use elevators all that much," she said, "We have teleporters... The elevators, most of the time, are just to fit one person and they travel at high speeds to get you to your destination a lot quicker..."

" Teleporters would be a lot better than an elevator. Would you like me to make you something to eat one we get to my place?" He asked.

Pandora nodded slightly. "If you don't mind," she said. He sure was taking the fact that she was from the future, and even her appearance, a whole lot better than she would have expected.

" What would you like. I can't promise I'm a very good cook." He said, still hoping this was a dream. He wondered why she had a sort of robotic sounding voice at times.
