"Please don't bring up height around big brother he can get a bit weird." Al couldn't think of a nicer word for it. When they reached the alter Ed began to examine it.

Gemini shrugged, accepting this, and kept quiet. She watched the blonde boy inspect the altar, curious what he would say. Would he find something she had overlooked?

Al frowned as he heard a noise and the next thing he knew his head was on the floor. "Ow." His suit complained wishing he could glare at the man.

Gemini's eyes widened when she saw the head fly off of what turned out to be an empty suit of armor. "Alphonse...y-you..." She shook her head. Stranger things had happened, and right now there was more to worry about. "Father Cornello, what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be out fooling the masses?"

"These nonbelievers must be punished. If they stay Leto will get angry and destroy our good fortune" Cornello glared at the boys unable to believe that suit of armor was empty.

"There's no Leto and you know it, you big phony!" Gemini said, reaching into her pocket for the piece of chalk she kept there. If she could draw a transmutation circle quickly enough, she could electrocute the old jerk before any damage was done.

"Oh please your just a swindler." Erik blinked as a chimera appeared. "Lovely." He sighed then clapped his hands together before pressing them to the ground transmuting a staff from the floor.

At that point, even Gemini was speechless. "H-he just..." She stammered, looking at Al for an explanation. It said something about her that she was more surprised by this than by the fact that Al had no body.

"My big brother is the best Alchemist there is." Al would have grinned if he could he loved to see people's reactions when his brother transmuted without a circle. Ed easily beat the chimera even though it had torn his shirt he was untouched.

Gemini's mouth hung open for a moment. "Oh...Fullmetal means..." She muttered, coming to the realization as she saw Edward's automail arm.

"Yeah." Al looked away. "This is what happens when you play God." Ed growled out the blinked at the gun Cornello made. Al pulled the girl behind him staring in shock at the weapon.

Gemini let out a tiny gasp. She was scared enough to actually let Al cover her. "What kind of priest carries a gun?"

Cornello and Ed began to fight while Al protected her. "Don't worry brother won't lose." He smiled.

Gemini looked at him skeptically, but nodded. "Okay..." She said, choosing to believe him.

Of course Ed lost running with Al dragging the girl behind them. "What's wrong brother?" "If I had just beaten him the faithful would have beaten me." Ed sighed. "I need a better plan."

Gemini gasped for breath and shook her head to clear it. "You were right not to beat him up. The religious fanatics in this town...actually, all religious fanatics, are dangerous." She leaned against a wall. "So I assume you found out what you wanted to. What are you going to do about it? And is there any way I can help?"

Ed opened his mouth then closed it looking at Al who shrugged. "I have a plan." Ed grinned and whispered it to Al. "I don't like it brother." "It's all we got." Ed sighed then looked at her . "Play along."

Gemini blinked slowly. She didn't like not knowing what was going on, but for some reason she trusted these boys. "Alright." She agreed, ready to do whatever she needed to.

Ed made a fake Al having him hide till he was needed. As the mob surrounds him he let them take him grinning at the girl.

Gemini blinked, watching in shock. This was his plan? He better have a great follow up. Still, playing along, she made a decent show of being upset- not that she had to pretend much.

Meanwhile Al was getting ready for part two of his brothers plan glad Gemini played along. After getting a few more things he rigged up the makeshift announcing thing.

After making sure no one was looking her way, Gemini went to find Al. When she did, she was speechless for a moment. "A speaker? What are you guys gonna do with this?" She asked, silently breathing a sigh of relief that Al was okay.

"You'll see." Al grinned as he turned it on. After a second of static Al and Cornellos voice came threw. He was confessing everything about his plans for the town.

Gemini's eyes went wide, and she smiled. "This...is...amazing! You guys are geniuses!" She said, clearly overjoyed that the crooked holy man was finally being outed.

"That's big brother for you." Al smiled watching as the people started to gather at the church. They looked confused, angry and hurt as they whispered softly Al felt bad for taking away there hope.
