Derek ndoded then. "Taht is true...you don't really seem to enjoy your other tutors very much...so I suppose it would make sense that I would be the one to tutor you. To ensure that you learn well. Also...I'm sure I can offer some...motivation."

Damien nodded slightly when Derek agreed, a smile forming on his face. "What kind of motivation?" he asked, slightly curious. He would pay attention for the Knight. But only for him.

"Well, for every question that you answered correctly...then I could...I could give you a kiss. That's what you seem to enjoy, right? So that's what I'll do."

Damien instantly perked up at that. But then his face fell. "I don't want you to kiss me to motivate me. Only if its what you want." he told him.

Derek smiled then shook his head. "Hey now, don't question the teacher." The knight then leaned forward and gave the boy a small kiss on the lips. "You only get another if you actually work hard on your lessons."

Damien felt his heart jolt when Derek kissed him. "I wasn't questioning you. I just don't want you to do something that you don't want to do." Sure, the words were hard to say. But it had to be done.

"If I didn't want to, then I wouldn't have suggested it sir. Now just focus on your lesson, for me. Please."

Damien nodded. "Alright.. I'll focus. For you." he told him.

"Good, now then, open your book to the last page that you were on, my prince."

Damien nodded and grabbed his book, flipping to the correct page. At least, he thought it was the right page.

Derek looked down at the book then smiled. "Alright then, tell me what you know so far from this chapter."

Damien thought about it before telling Derek everything he could remember from the chapter. Which was a lot more than he thought it would be considering he wasn't really paying attention during the lesson.

Derek nodded at the answer before leaning down and kissing Damien's lips softly. "Good. You remember it well."

Damien's face turned red and his heart skipped a beat. "I didn't think I would remember that much." he admitted.

"Well you did and I'm sure htat you can remember more if you really try at it, my prince."

Damien nodded. "Yeah. I'm sure I can." he told him. He would do anything that Derek wanted him to. Anything at all. Even the boring work.

"I am very proud of you Damien, for working so hard."

Damien found himself blushing at Derek's comment. "I'm glad.." he mumbled, pleased with himself.
