I know my family comes from Clan MacBean. Super far back, but I still love knowing that somewhere in my history is a Scottish family that belonged to a clan.

Like I said in the GD, I'm technically Scottish (on my father's side) But that's eleven generations ago, and I don't know my tartan or anything.

heh I bet if you visited Scotland and made some friends, they'd be more than happy to look it up. That's how we know what clan my family came from. My mom's Scottish friends invited her over to visit for a couple weeks and did a total family history search to find out what clan she was from. :lol:
