"Dark digivolving happens when a digimon is forced to digivolve unnaturally," Melody explained as they walked. "Or they digivolve using corrupted data. It's not a good thing. The resulting dark digimon goes on a rampage, pretty much, and don't stop until they are stopped, or they run out of energy. Most digimon partnered with a digidestined don't have that problem, though, since their digivolving data typically comes from us."
"New guy came back?" Ben asked, surprised. His own digivice beeped at him, alerting him to the new new signals returning. "That's surprising, he didn't seem like he wanted to be here. How did they get back so fast?"
