Anne and Catherine were beheaded....cause he's a charmer, that scamp of ours! This one was Catherine Howard. I believe Anne was beheaded by sword and Catherine by a single ax swing. It was seen as a mercy and a blessing to be killed by sword, which was often quicker. Swords were kept so sharp, and the hangman's ax would dull over time and so it was usually more than one swing to....get the job done. ALSO sword was seen as the nobleman's way to go.

I didn't do a good job connecting Jane Seymour image wise...but I'm tired and gave up trying. Womp womp.

Yeah, I gave up on the Tudors sometime in season two. I think it was actually one of the very first things I ever watched on Netflix! Unless I'm misremembering...

There are too many good and decent shows out there to watch. I ain't got time for that.

I either find myself streaming stuff in the background (like now I'm watching that sitcom "Mom" with Allison Janney and and Anna Faris, which I really like) - just background noise, not really paying attention.

But I plowed through the entire Mad Men series a few months back and that was waaaayyyy better than I expected it to be. I can be a bit of a TV snob since it takes so much more investment than movies... so for me to watch something super closely, I gotta like the writing!

i've been watching friends lately actually. i had never watched it, but i've watching that. ya. also the second season of stranger things of course. and of course for background stuff i always re-watch parks and recreation and supernatural.
i just started watching a new cooking competition show just today called zumbo's just desserts.

Thus the only reason Protestantism was introduced and Catholicism ousted from England. He wanted a divorce, the Pope said no because of his ties to Spain, and so he did his own thaaaaang. (Sorry, huge history dork here)

Me and Wingsy are watching Teen Wolf which is pretty awesome, but that's about it for tv for me. I mean, I did start watching MLP again though.

I hear that's fun. I have seen a few episodes of the first season of Teen Wolf but got sidetracked by shiny things. I should probably keep up!
