We're having a Christmas, er, "Festival of Winter Nights" mene reunion! It'd be great if we could somehow come together for a mini event or somesuch.

Really? That'd be awesome! Even if it's just a bunch of us hanging out again; I'm sure a lot of people would like that.

Yeah, I'm thinking all these people coming back, it could be a "user event" of sorts, which means no new items or anything, just hanging out, and maybe gifting and games.

A mini winter festival get-together would be great!

Have any of the admins shown up yet? I've only seen BSW and I don't think mods can enable events/event forums.

If we could get a mod to create an actual event forum that would be sweet If not we can just make a thread or two under general chatting. bloodstainedwings: are you able to help? (Is this even how you ping? Does pinging still work?)

We could do a user run event if there can’t be a mini official one I did one for spring before multis stopped working completely

It might be too soon to make a whole forum for it, but if we could just do a single thread for the meantime that'd be nice! Maybe by New Year's more people will return and then, perhaps, a forum could be created. BSW's name is still blue, so I think the ping went through!

As for events, what does everyone think? Of course, I think a themed avatar event would be fun; best dressed and what not. Not sure what else we can do quite yet, what with the limited account activity thus far. Maybe a writing contest, or art contest for those creativity inclined. Short Christmas story, and a Mene/Christmas themed art contest. We've got some time to figure it out though!

I was thinking of something I could contribute. I could let my charity mule do a 'stocking stuffer'. If we could get some artist to design and host special stocking image (like a red stocking with Yumeh's face on it or something) and host it somewhere where it can be hotlinked, and all user has to do is paste the img code and bam, free stocking stuffer from the Charity Crows!

Maybe a user-hosted art contest where the criteria is to draw something that's both Menewsha and festive-themed?
